Yes, you read the headline correctly: Crimson Moon is yet another PS5 title targeting a September release. If you're somehow out of the loop, the autumn / fall schedule is beyond a joke because almost every game in existence is trying to avoid GTA 6 in November.

Again, Crimson Moon looks pretty good, so it's a bit of a shame to hear that it's going to be crammed into 2026's busiest month. It doesn't have a specific date yet, but frankly, it doesn't matter.
The game itself is a crunchy combat-focused romp that can be played solo or with a friend. Elemental abilities and some sick execution animations are on show in the above trailer.
