@AdamNovice true, but they could turn decima into a universal engine if they put enough effort into it. Even Sony film division could use it for their films. The horizon movie should be using it.

The new god of war by far. Game looked amazing and the premise opens up the series.

These god of war games take a lot out of a director. Pretty sure barlog has been the only one to direct more than one.

@Ninerguy1608 could be the person who direct Ragnarok or the Valhalla dlc. They do like to switch up directors on each game. Pretty sure barlog is the only one who directed two games

@get2sammyb love that they're expanding the franchise. Still believe we're get a remaster of 2018 by next year for the show too.

Can't wait, knowing.that we might see some of the Greek gods is exciting. Also saw Cory is not directing it so that means he's working on another game possibly the next mainline kratos game.

Crap they didn't save this announcement for the actual state of play. This state of play might actually be pretty epic.

@Ninerguy1608 wolverine is definitely not going to take up half the show. You must be new to this, wolverine will be 15 minutes at max and that's being generous.

Here are mine:

-We know wolverine will be shown and preorders will probably open up. I also think we will see plates and a limited edition controller (a lot of yellow).

• we will get multiple gow things. The Faye game will be the big thing, but I think we will get gow 2018 remaster announced for PS5 in preparation of the Amazon show, with probably a ten dollar upgrade path. I also think we could see the classic gow games added to ps plus premium.
• New marvel tokon characters will be revealed (the villain team) and the fight stick will be dated (same day as tokon releases) and priced (200). The remaining characters will be shown at summer gamefest.

-Kena sequel release date (maybe July)

-intergalatic will likely not be shown (most likely saved for either a goeff event or September state of play).

• something from PlayStation live service will be announced most likely from the leaks fairgames$(now break in) will be announced and either a beta or released same day. It's free to play and probably coming to everything possible.
• capcom will show up with something resident evil or the onimusha release date.
• more things with konami, the new Castlevania will get a release date and a metal gear solid 1 remake will be announced (similar to how snake eater remake was revealed).
• new indies will be shown, predicting young horses will announce their next game it's been almost 6 years since bugsnax.
• judas will be shown with a 2027 release date.
• new ps plus extra/premium games will be shown. I think the big extra game will be either helldivers 2 or Astro bot. For premium as mentioned above the classic gow games.

Really disappointing if this game is a souls like. It was kickstarted as a zelda like.

I'm curious to see if stellar entertainment shows up to state of play. They're rumored to be working on a racing game for Sony.

@AdamNovice the Bungie acquisition happened after Activision acquisition was announced. Sony acquired bungie for their expertise in live service, but was also afraid they were about to lose COD.

I think not only are they going to show it but release it in beta that day.

@get2sammyb Jim and Herman Hulst bad decision making. When Microsoft bought Activision it really scared them. They wanted expertise in live service but they should had just created a new internal team and just head hunted the best talent to fill it. Would have saved them billions.

@Balaam_ true but I think the pro appears more to die hard PS fans who already have the base console but want the upgrade.

Crazy they're advertising it with games 4 years old in horizon forbidden West and god of war Ragnarok, both great games, but still just shows how their output was this gen.

I'm predicting Xbox removes the subscription requirement to play online. Their new system is going to have multiple store fronts so people would just get multiplayer games on steam to not have to pay to play online anyways so Microsoft looks like the good guys with the announcement even though it was a given.

Make sense, you want to give people a reason to buy your system, but with live service you want a big of a player base as possible.

Not surprising, shocked that they didn't increase it for all tiers and subscribers, but probably using it to keep people subscribed.

You all should do an article on what studio would be best for each of the ips. Would love to see some indie studios get ahold of some of these games to make smaller games like gow sons of Sparta.
