Best state of play ever. The new god of war is a lot of fun. Really hope Sony starts making more of these smaller games based to help fill in gaps like this, Astro bot, and kena.

Game is great. Would love to see them given betrayal to remake and expand on. Sony's 2026 is insane.

Don't know who this is news, they said they would show more in the spring at the state of play where they had the wolverine trailer.

Was wondering if they would wait a while for spiderman 2 to be added since the new spiderman movie comes out this year.

My predictions:
1. god of war 2d revealed out soon
2. Marvel tokon new characters, release date and open beta. Fight stick also shown
3. Ghost legend launches after the state of play
4. Marathon launch trailer.
5. Saros trailer that reveals co-op
5. New ps plus games , could see Spider-Man 2, helldivers 2 and Astro bot. Also new classics, the Greek god of war games 1&2 maybe more. Also new day one game announced (coffee Talk Tokyo maybe)
6. Third party games- Judas (summer release), onimusha release date, resident evil Requiem launch trailer, remastered games.
7. Indie games (UFO 50, Pizza Tower, hades 2).
Bonus Cory barlogs game revealed, if it's not god of war related then it's a new game in the order 1886 universe.

Here's hoping for the new 2d god of war. Also expect to see Saros (co-op announcement), ghost legends release, tokon new characters, and ps plus games

It's a meh for me, not really into multiplayer games , except for helldivers 2, but good luck to them. They been working on this for a long time kind of weird in the video they said they're still early on.

I enjoyed the second game on PS3. Would love to see a PlayStation theme one with maybe kratos, Nathan drake/sully, daxter, ratchet, and Joel

And they will still be disappointed in the sales lol

@somnambulance yeah don't get me wrong, going to play gta but it's not my anticipated game or anything. Judas looks more interesting, really loved BioShock.

Any news on when judas will launch?

I imagine either it will be shutdown in a few months and removed for good or they will remove it to rework it and try and bring it back.

Season two was a let down to see it win at the game awards over twisted metal season 2 which wasn't even nominated was a joke.

Thing must sound like this going to explode in your hands. My PS4 sounded horrifying towards the end.

Not going to lie hope we get more of these. Would love the PS1 Rugrats game and the Scooby doo games from PS2 get ported . The license game I want the most is Scarface though.

I actually agree, some sites are either all fanboys or haters. I noticed that whenever a PlayStation first party game comes out that there always one or two sites (usually the same ones) that will give the game a low score just to give it a low score.

Gta 6 will be the final big push to get them to upgrade.

So what 6 months to a year before this game gets shut down?

@themightyant people were ready for PS5, everyone was complaining about the ps4 sounding like it was ready to explode, not to mention people were tired of the limitations of the hard drive with slow loading. No one was saying we don't need a PS5 that PS4 was fine.

@themightyant I didn't see anyone say that about the PS5. When the PS5 launched it was during the beginning of covid when the economy was still relatively good and demand was high. Costs were still not high, after a year or so costs started to rise and haven't fell since and with the demand of ai ram and ssd prices are skyrocketing even more.

@themightyant true but Sony doesn't want to release a console in a dead market where the demand might be there but the price isn't there for the consumer. Also a lot of gamers are not as tech savvy so being old technology wouldn't necessarily hurt them, the PS4 launched with what a lot of people thought was outdated technology.

@Rodimusprime13 I think Sony has a lot less pressure now since Microsoft isn't really competitive anymore and with the switch 2 being weaker than PS5 they don't have to complete with them in the graphics department. I do wonder if the will release their handheld though to try and complete with the switch 2.

@ear_wig you can blame the tariffs for some of the increased costs but the reality is ai will continue to drive the demand and price and I don't think that's going away no matter who's in office.
