I mean if the next Xbox includes the option to use steam , Microsoft has to get rid of the online paywall which will decrease the number of game pass subscribers. Doesn't Nintendo also charge for online play, so Sony wouldn't be alone even if Microsoft got rid of it.

@RobN Sony has shown that they give devs time to finish their game when they see promise in it, look at helldivers 2, it was given 8 years of development and started over. Bend game was cancelled because they didn't see promise in it.

@RobN what I'm saying is progress was not why it was cancelled, it was the quality and overall outlook of the project that caused it to get cancelled.

What does the trophy list look like? Also what about a soundtrack? How does it compare to paradise?

Not surprising, you spend 80 billion on acquisitions, you're going to want a big return. I remember during the acquisition court hearings xbox fans celebrating, I got into an argument with someone who was claiming once Microsoft got a hold of them that they would bring back all of the old ips. I tried to tell them they was going only focus on their big ips that actually sold well and would benefit game pass. This fool was celebrating that they would bring back guitar hero and al sorts of dormant ips.

@TheDudeElDuderino would probably do great on the switch 2 since I don't think there's anything like it on there.

Would buy a remaster day one. Would even back a kickstarter. Really loved the PS2 game, was a lot of fun.

I expect a switch 2 port next year also could see a mobile version as well

Way to soon, Sony hasn't released enough this generation and games are not at the point of pushing the console to its limits. Not to mention games are still releasing on PS4. 2028 should be the earliest release date

Absolutely love the lumines series. This is my most anticipated game this year. I platinum lumines remastered, so curious to see the trophy list.

Hopefully 2028 at the earliest. PS5 hasn't reached its limits yet.

With the size of the studio I imagine bungie is constantly losing Sony money each year on top of the acquisition cost.

@LogicStrikesAgain you would think they would have already picked up square enix management at Sony is no too smart though. We heading to an inevitable streaming future and you see that all of the publishers will want their own streaming service like they did in the film industry, Disney, HBO, Netflix, Paramount, ect. Sony needs to start preparing so they can have a strong line up of content.

They need to try to get it ported to a new engine. This will allow for more players and bigger battles. If they could somehow get it to decima I think it could survive a long time.

Not convinced yet on the casting but maybe just have to see more. Anyone else think we're going to get some Mary Jane sections in the form of mystique?

I think the next game will be a lot more focused on live service and probably be on PS5/6.

A lot of potential for a great show. I'm excited to see the 2d god of war. We'll probably get the ps plus games announced for all tiers. Also about time for some of these indie studios who haven't released a game in a while to announce their next game, looking at the kena team and bugsnax team

I expect it next week since Tokyo game show is the last week of the month. They seem to have a lot to show, wolverine, 2d god of war, Saros gameplay, and new tokon characters. Not to mention maybe the final Astro bot dlc, horizon co-op game, and would be nice to see what Cory has been working on. Plus 2nd/3rd party and new indie games as well as new ps plus announcements.
