Great games, hoping we get a full scale sequel

@PuppetMaster smaller budget mean lower sales expectations though. There's a ton of talented studios out there that have proven their worth looking at all these indie studios.

Just let another studio make it. Sony has a ton of dead IP that can easily been given to another studio to revive, probably be a cheap development cost ast well.

Makes no sense to cancel the ps4 version, pretty sure the switch 1 version still exists.

All I know when I first saw it at the state of play (I think from last year) it looked bad to me, like there was something serious wrong with it. I got a lot of hate for it but I was right

@MrPeanutbutterz they cancelled a lot of live service games, but still have many in development. They have two horizon multiplayer games, marathon, marvel tokon, fair games (maybe not for long), project gummy bears, the next media molecule is rumored to be live service, dark outlaw games unannounced game, and who knows what else, so no they'll not giving up on live service sadly. .

There's a lot that could possibly be shown like mentioned in the article wolverine and the new 2d gow, but still have venom (not sure if it still exists and if they would show it with wolverine, although they did announce spiderman 2 and wolverine at the same time), the horizon co-op game, rumored new uncharted games, Cory barlog new game, Saros gameplay, tokon new characters reveals, and project carbon from sumo (if it still exists). Not to mention I still think we'll get one more Astro bot dlc, maybe a Halloween level (perfect spot for a sweet tooth bot). Plus new 3rd party, indies games and new ps plus games. They usually do their state of plays before Tokyo game show, so highly likely we'll see it in the next 2-3 weeks.

So was this a new entry? I thought it was a port of the vita version. You would think since Sony is so obsessed with live service that they would have gotten Clap Hanz to make new one that was live service and mobile.

Live service titles need to be more as many platforms as possible to get a large audience, I wouldn't be surprised to see it ported to switch 2 and mobile if they can run it as well. Helldivers 2 would be massive on the switch 2 since there's not really any game like it over there. I'm wondering if the horizon co-op game hasn't been shown yet because they'll porting it to Xbox and switch 2 at launch to have. A huge audience when it launches.

@naruball I'm pretty sure with the GameCube and Wii u they did but not sure about any of the other consoles. Definitely not with the switch that thing never really got lowered, even after selling 150 million.

Back in the day the big three use to lose money on the console sales and make it up on software, but now it seems like they want profit from hardware and will drive up the price on the console to make the desired profit.

@Bez87 if Sony has zero to show right not than that's a bad sign, we are in the last few years of this generation and Sony has been pretty quiet for years now.

Crap I didn't see the deluxe edition and already pre ordered the base version and it won't give me option to upgrade it to deluxe without paying full price again.

Instantly preordered, can't wait to play the demo after work. This is my most anticipated game this year. Curious to see the trophy list, I've Platinum the remaster and that was pretty difficult, hope this one doesn't have a puzzle mode lol
