Ghost of Tsushima and Elder Scrolls Online! Wanna finish Ghost of Tsushima before I purchase Yōtei (which has apparently sold through 1.6 million in its first week ✌🏾). So many great games out right now!

@Jacko11 exactly! The number of people who clamor for old games, then completely ignore them when they’re re-released is immense. While “always online” does kinda suck, today isn’t like how it used to be with limited access to the internet.

On topic: Love to see Yōtei doing numbers. Gives me a good laugh at the clowns in the user review section of Metacritic. And that one reviewer at Eurogamer who gave it a 6/10. Really?! A 6! I think that’s close the worst score I’d give a game. I’ve never played anything less than a 5/10.

Patiently, and anxiously waiting! Just hit the 3rd act of Ghost of Tsushima. Going right into Yōtei after it’s over with!

Xbox has never won a generation. Either pull out, or blow it up and start over.

@EfYI Forbidden West and Ratchet are both great games! Games like those are what keeps me on PlayStation. I put so much time into them and completed all there is to complete. Enjoy!

@Zuljaras I believe I’ve played a few recently. Flintlock is a great one. So is Inoria. But I think something that’s had a real negative effect on gaming is the rating/review system. Now people wait to see what the “pros” have to say before they try a game.

Remember, Faxanadu didn’t have some reviewer telling you to not play it. You tried it and loved it. That’s how we did it back then. Now, people will anticipate a game, then when it gets a 7/10 they don’t wanna play it anymore. That sucks!

@Zuljaras wow! Faxanadu! I was just telling my wife about how much i love that game! Haven’t played it in 30 years! Such a great game that’s way ahead of its time!

As for me. I’m still in the throes of Ghost of Tsushima. About 67% complete and trying to git’r done so I can move on to Yōtei. And of course, Elder Scrolls Online! ✌🏾

@DennisReynolds for some weird reason there are people who are fans of companies and corporations. Like, some people would call me a Sony fan. I’m no Sony fan! I’m a PlayStation fan! It’s probably the only Sony thing I’ve ever owned.

But some people are Microsoft fans and they saw the acquisition as a good thing because they love the company so much. It’s a weird notion. Like, how can you love a company that sells you everything and gives you nothing free? I don’t know…

@Deadlyblack I guess they just wanted to make money off of COD. Would be crazy see Battlefield take over COD as the chosen online shooter.

Wasn’t only her. Many here in these very threads said this would happen! Hell, this has been one of my main criticisms of GamePass since its inception.

I would be amazed how the same people who’d say “Sony is greed and their greed is anti-consumer!” would also be the ones who’d praise MS for GamePass and MS’s business practices. Shortsighted as if they live in fog as thick as a well-made bowl of pea soup!

I love this gen. But, let’s be honest, prolonging PS4’s lifespan really did hamper this generation of gaming.

Currently playing Ghost of Tsushima and absolutely loving it! Plan to get Yotei soon. Was gonna buy it last night but got Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Echoes of the End for the same price as Yotei. Couldn’t pass that up!

This how ratings go: If you like the game, you praise the high scores. If you don’t like the game, you criticize the reviewer/site and say they have no credibility.

Saw one comment that said it ruins immersion to see a woman dispatch armies of men by herself. I’m like “Yeah. Because it’s so realistic when a man is killing armies of men by himself.” 😆

Would love to jump in upon release. Unfortunately, I’m only 52% complete with Ghost of Tsushima. Maybe I’ll get lucky and there’s a sale once it’s time to buy.

@Styledvinny79 if it weren’t for the new protagonist, tweaked combat, new in-game shops, new weapons styles, new locations, new animal companions, etc. I’d swear it’s exactly the same game! IDENTICAL!!!

I’ve not watched a single trailer or gameplay video for this game. I want everything fresh when I jump in. I don’t even wanna see the title screen before I personally turn the game on.

@PerpetualBoredom it’s awesome! I was playing Ghost of Tsushima yesterday and my wife was trying to block the TV. Can’t block that big ass TV! Which is what I named it in my network. Literally “BIG ASS TV” lol.

@SODGA85 I earned plenty of credit from my ESO+ subscription and playing certain games. The last thing I did with Stars before they ended it was buy Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots. Bought a full game with only credit from doing certain things and credits from a subscription for another game. That’s how rewards are supposed to work!

Stars was great. This… IS NOT!!!

This was gonna get me right back into my favorite game of all time. Now, I feel I’ll have too many games to play to care about this when it releases.

@Damage99 Heath Leger could’ve been this for Joker had he gotten a chance to do more films. Chadwick Boseman was great as T’Challa but I feel like since he only did 1 film that they should recast the character. I get it though with Jackman though. He did Logan for 2 decades. Hard to change after that.

I hadn’t played Ghost of Tsushima till I started it about a month ago. Playing it right now actually. It’s an amazing game so far! I’ve not watched a single trailer of Yotei just so it’s all new to me when I start playing it.

Honestly, even if it were a 7/10 I’d still play it because I’ve not had any reason to distrust Sucker Punch. Glad to see it’ll be another great outing.

Perspective is a funny thing, isn’t it? Here, you have some who aren’t impressed by this because it looks too much like Spider-Man. Contrasted by those who are in awe of this because it’s very much not like Spider-Man lol. This is why I seem the term “expert” to be the most useless word in existence. It’s all about perspective.

@Ricky-Spanish nothing really needs gore and nudity. But it adds to the adult nature of things. I’ve never gotten more enjoyment out of a game because it has gore and nudity. But I know I’m not most people.

I can think of 0 actors I wanna see in the role. But can think of a thousand actors i don’t wanna see in the role.

Remember when we as gamers used to only care about playing games and not overly concerned with a game’s budget? Seems there’s more corporate conversions on the consumer side nowadays. Makes it so hard to talk about games with fellow gamers.
