Developer ProbablyMonsters has announced Crimson Moon, an action RPG for PS5 coming in 2026.
Check out the debut trailer below:
Set against a gothic fantasy backdrop, the game is clearly inspired by Souls-likes, but it doesn't seem to quite be one itself.
You play as a Nephilim, a half-human, half-angel charged with fighting back the hordes of hell to protect the world.
The official blurb describes "replayable runs", suggesting there are some roguelike elements to the game's structure. You can play the game alone or in two-player co-op.

It has a neat style to it, and the combat certainly wears its Souls inspirations on its sleeve, though it looks a little less serious here.
We're certainly intrigued by this one, but what about you? Tell us in the comments section below.

Gameplay looks right up my alley. Will anxiously wait to see more.
I got Darksiders vibes from this. Count me as interested.
@SodaPop6548 I was 99% convinced this was Darksiders, with the music being the only thing throwing me off!
I hope it will be arcade fun, not souls-like pain to play.
At first I thought it was a new Lords of Shadows, then Darksiders then Kings Field. It's nice to see some colour and saturation, it looks Diablo 3 before Diablo 4 decided to make everything so brown. That vibrancy alone would make me want to give it a try. It feels like I only see colour now in those kinds of games when someone bumps the saturation for photo-mode. Those Devs know what they are doing.
I am most definitely interested and cannot wait to find out more about the game in the months to come.
This is the type of AA game I like to see!
