An Instagram post is hitting huge numbers after PlayStation sent an engaged couple a gift to celebrate their upcoming wedding.
After inviting Sony to their special day, the company responded by sending them a handwritten card alongside vouchers for several PS5 games:
In the video, an envelope is opened to reveal a card from PlayStation, featuring a message written by hand. It reads, "Aiden & Kirsten, congratulations on your marriage!"

Inside the card are free PS5 titles, including Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Horizon Call of the Mountain, a Fortnite bundle, and what we think is NBA 2K26. There appears to be one more, but the video cuts off before it's shown.
The Instagram reel went viral, with over a million views and nearly 60,000 likes.
It's a lovely gesture from PlayStation, and some pretty good, almost-free PR; a win-win, then. Congrats to the happy couple!

And almost all of these games are available now, in PS+ Premium!
I'm too cynical.
@Haruki_NLI so what you’re saying is Sony should’ve just told them to subscribe to Ps+ instead of giving them the games free? Damned if they do, I guess… 🤷🏾♂️
"The whole crew here at Sony wishes the happy couple many years together and our gift to you is a game which best describes all the merits and joys of marriage."
"You better git gud."
Bloodborne code
"Congrats on your wedding, here's a PSVR2 game which requires both a PS5 and the VR headset itself (which comes with said PSVR2 game you're getting for free.)"
Honestly, I'd be elated to get such a personal response from Playstation, but like...come on, Sony. At least try to act like a regular person and throw in a $25 gift card to some restaurant I've never heard of!
@Splash_Woman considering that they're offering 4 games, 3 of which don't require a PSVR2, focusing on that 1 is... a choice. Also, if they're fans, of course they'll have a ps5 by now.
Sony mailed me as a gift the UMD version of the movie "Spider-Man 2" ages ago as but it turned out it was not something special, many people received it.
Still, it was cool back in the day to have this movie on the go, I guess.
I wonder how many times Sony have done something like this - I mean, I would think it quite a slim chance that this was the only time, and has been viewed so many times it has made headlines. Its a nice gesture.
@Rich33 The one i remembered when they gave free games back in Covid with Play at Home initiative. R&C remake, Horizon ZD GotY edition, Subnautica, Abzu, etc are all free to claim without PS+
@Splash_Woman PSVR2 doesn't come with Call of the Mountain by default. But there is a bundle that has it.
Look at the entitlement here in the comment section.
Sad that this is becoming the norm here on Push Square.
They open it up and it's a copy of Concord.
@PuppetMaster
I suppose you could argue that that was a widespread one, so likely to gain headlines in their favour.
In this case, I just don't see it likely that a gesture like this could be expected to gain headlines.
Therefore, it just sounds like a pleasant gesture you just don't see that often these days, particularly from big companies. But, I do wonder if they do this sort of thing (without expectation of good PR), from time to time, and that this is the first time we have heard about it.
@AhmadSumadi No, I'm saying that's what the card could have said if we went full corporate.
As I said, I'm cynical. It's a nice gesture but it also could have been so much funnier.
@Rich33 They probably did this multiple times but this one accidentally got a headline.
Congrats both spideys 🎊 if more of a webbing than wedding….
I think it is a very nice gesture. Those are pretty nice gifts.
That’s very cool…now maybe as a honeymoon gift they could offer to fly them out to play test Wolverine or Intergalactic…lol jk
@PuppetMaster and they also offered a few games after psn got hacked cant remember what ones of the top of my head.
Heres some exclusive free games from the PSN store 😂😂😂😂😂
