@hisownsidekick love it! My fondest gaming memory with my bro was waking up in the wee hours of the morning (4 AM) so we can play our season of Tecmo Super Bowl. We’d always simulate the games when our teams (his Bills vs. my 49ers) to play because we knew how we’d be against each other. But we’d always have to play the Super Bowl.

🍻 to the siblings! And RIP to your brother. 🙏🏾

Re: Former Battlefield Boss Says Video Games 'Can't Be Built by an Al'

The things I’m seeing from AI are crazy and scary! It’s gonna come to a point at which any video proof of wrongdoing can be blamed on AI. And that’s not to say AI can’t do some good when it comes to video games.

Imagine if AI was able to allow NPCs to address your created character by the name you give them instead of the generic, preprogrammed name? That would be good use of AI. But I don’t want AI replacing the human aspect of the industry. And lord knows if that can ever be possible that these companies would just at rhe chance.

Re: PS6 Could Be the Only Next-Gen Console Charging for Online Multiplayer

Nintendo’s consoles are direct generational competitors with Sony and Microsoft. I mean, Nintendo releases in off years and don’t really have the same user base.

So many gamers will own a PS/Switch or Xbox/Switch. But there are those few who own all 3. And those who own all 3 often decide which console they wanna play multiplatform games on; PS or Xbox?

Also, Xbox and PlayStation almost collaborate their releases. Releasing within weeks of each other. Nintendo knows that the other 2 aren’t direct competitors. This is why Nintendo doesn’t worry about power and performance the way the others do.

@Marquez for sure. I’d always sworn to never getting into MMOs because I never wanted to ever have to pay a monthly fee to play a game (obviously, this is now how it works), and knew that my personality would cause me to get too imbedded in the world of it if I happened to like it. This is what ESO did to me for a long time.

I’m playing Echoes of the End right now and it’s a 7/10 game (Metacritic says 6.6/10). It’s every challenging due to no animation canceling in combat (a complaining many reviews have) but I’m fine with that. Animation cancel isn’t a real thing a person can do. I understand this is fantasy but still…

Can’t wait to finish Echoes of the End and get to Yōtei. After that, Dragon’s Dogma II. I’m gonna lost in fantasy worlds for at least the next 6 months.

For the first time in almost 10 years, I’m not playing Elder Scrolls Online. Well, this is the first weekend in which I’ve had access to play it and have not.

In fact, after being a day 1 player, I’ve finally decided to leave the game. It kinda sucks. But it’s for the greater good of my gaming life. I’ve skipped so many anticipated releases (Dragon’s Dogma II, Ghost of Tsushima, Black Myth, etc.) due to my ESO obsession. Needless to say, it’s been a weird 5 days not playing.

Anyway, I’m playing Echoes of the End now. Will jump into Ghost of Yōtei after.
