@Balaam_ your obsession with trophies is troubling to say the least. I’m a trophy hunter and I never revisit platinum’d games for trophies. It can drive you mad! Furthermore, I kinda think trophies ruined games for me seeing as how I sometimes avoid games that have a platinum that requires PVP play. I avoided Diablo IV for the longest because of this. It’s almost like an addiction.

After all this time I finally booted it up. Started the game in B&W with original language. When big bad set the guy on fire I was shook! Then I stopped and we back to ESO. But I'll finish this before Yotei for sure.

Finds the perfect actor to play Kano. Casts his as Johnny Cage instead...

Still better casting than Street Fighter though.

@wildcat_kickz I feel the same. This is why I'd prefer the VA say the names, then the AI picks which name to use based on the selected spelling of the character's given name. This way, the actor isn't being left out of a process that they clearly take part in.

@Oram77 this sort of lends to my previous post. What I'd like to see AI do requires AI voice. But it's quite possible. For instance, in the NBA 2K series, the stadium announcer will say the name of your character when you score depending on if actual NBA players already have your first and last name. Couldn't this work in games by having the voice actor say a bunch of common names and the game generate the name based on the spelling?

The only way I'd like to see AI incorporated in my game is to make my generic, created character seem like he/she belongs in the game. No more generic "Arisen" or "Rook". When I name my character, I'd like for that name to be the name the other characters call my character.

Eat 💩 and keep your worthless collectibles! At least I was able to pay for Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots with points I racked up over the past year. They better come with something worthwhile. But I do have my doubts.

lol they big mad! It’s nothing though. Whenever there’s a game or book that proceeds a TV show, the “purists” will always gripe. Game of Thrones, Wheel of Time, Witcher, Reacher, etc. all have to deal with the fandoms.

Anyway. I absolutely loved this game and was able to set aside my feelings for the man who created it. I'd love a sequel and would even run back through the original to brush up.

Some people actually like things to flow this way so it'll work for them. Like, before I was a huge Star Wars fan, I'd not seen any of the films. When I decided to watch them I went in chronological order even though I was told to not do it that way. It was very satisfying because I enjoy things this way. So, to each his own...

Just finished Diablo IV and am in need of a new game to play. I think Ghost of Tsushima will be my next play. This looks amazing and I can't believe I haven't played a PS staple this far along into its life cycle.

You’re posting the falsest of equivalences here. The guy posted his tweet and was asked to elaborate. They didn’t just run with his single tweet. Very different than what Fox “News” does.

@TicklefistCP this is PushSquare reporting the opinion of someone within the industry. This isn’t PushSquare giving you the opinion of someone who works at PushSquare. Should they just always ignore the opinion of people who are directly affected by the thing they’re opining upon?

It would be one thing if Sammy (or anyone else on PushSquare staff) was giving us his own opinion. That’s not what’s happening here. It’s an another thing completely that he’s reporting on the opinion of a developer who’s stating his opinion on a happening that’s affecting his own industry. This is news! This isn’t an editorial.

I’ve said this about Game Pass since day 1! Everyone knew it would come to this! But Xbox changed the strategy because they can’t (directly) compete with Sonys me Nintendo. I’ve been in rooms where this kind of stuff was talked about and usually they know this will happen at the inception of the plan.

One thing that always gets me though, is the constant griping from gamers about wanting to own their physical copies. Then they turned around and praise Game Pass. The two cancel each other out. How can you love both?! I know it’s not walks the same people. But I’ve seen many who argue for physical while simultaneously saying how much they love their Game Pass subscription.

Streets of Rage 4 is so good! Fun platinum and great new characters!

As for me. Just finished Diablo IV campaign. Thinking if I’m gonna keep going. Also playing ESO and Star Wars: Outlaws.

Now, for the love of God, please bring back Midnight Club! More fun than both these games!

@DennisReynolds only thing that sucks when it comes to that is PC players have mods and usually playing an entirely different iteration of the game. But yes, this makes sense for live service games.

@ATaco I worked for Washington Mutual bank back in 2008 when it went under and was bought out by Chase. The CEO at the time received a 15.3 million dollar severance after he destroyed the company. The guy who took over after him received a 12 million severance for 23 days of work! 23! Don’t fret though. Many of us were let go. Some people even lost their full retirement packages. It’s evil!

Remember how Ryan was the devil for trying to make love service happen on PlayStation? Remember how Phil was the hero for bringing Game Pass to fruition and putting Xbox exclusives on the competition’s machine? Remember how Ryan left PlayStation stronger than it’s ever been when he left? Remember how Phil took the Xbox brand to the worst place it’s ever been?!

Look, I’m not even a champion of Jack Ryan’s. But damn, how did he take so much flack from the PS crowd? The same crowd that seemed to have wanted Phil Spencer to be cinducting PS train?

Also have being following this and see so many people who say “Why should I care? I’m about the games. Not about the people who make them.” Cruel behavior. And Xbox had all that money to buy studios for what? To keep the games multi platform and shrink the studios? Phil has been a huge detriment to the Xbox brand!

It’s come to a point where they believe they can sell the audience anything and they’ll buy it. There’s no other explanation for this!

I like most of the actors I see. But like none of them in the roles I see them cast in for this. Wild! It's like it's impossible to get SF right, outside of awesome animated iterations.
