Dark Cloud 3 please. 21 years I’ve been waiting! At least Capcom gave me Dragon’s Dogma 2 after only 12 years of waiting.

Anyway. Love Horizon. But have no interest in games like these.

Be sure to play Outlaw and Flintlock! Really good games! Red Dead speaks for itself, and I started Enotria but stopped shortly after I realized it’s a Soulslike. Just wasn’t ready to get back into one at that time.

Huzzah!!! This is why we’re here! Thank you! After pulling myself away from ESO after over 10 years of play, it’s been so nice to enjoy all the single player games I’d put on the back burner.

Since ditching multiplayers, I’ve platinum’d Echoes of the End, Astro Bot, TMNT: Splintered Fate (2x), TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge (2x), Eternal Strands, Marvel: Cosmic Invasion (2x), and Absolum (2x). Currently 203 hours into Dragon’s Dogma 2. It’s so refreshing when you can just play it all at your own pace!

I was away on his mess this entire weekend and didn’t feel the anxiety I’d feel when away from ESO because single player games can’t progress without me. Yes, I acknowledge I might have a problem lol.

@Oram77 because the internet is full of idiots who would rather complain than do anything else. Who buys Ghost of Yōtei for the multiplayer? No one! It’s likely the people who say that would’ve never bought it to begin with.

@Oram77 nostalgia and rose tinted glasses ruins so much progress in all aspects of life. Especially in gaming and cinema. LA Noire was good. Innovative. But not great.

I implore you to give Flintlock a try! The banter between the main character and the spirit that travels with her is really good! One it those games that I was recommended by Google and it didn’t disappoint!

@TornAsunder late to the party here. But mostly all video game characters are based on real people. Main character in Intergalactic is based on a real person. Did that stop you lot from reacting the way you have?

2021 film is eons better than the original! Nostalgia is a helluva drug!

@OmegaStriver absolutely love Factions and Uncharted MP! I played them both for many years! I recently went back to Uncharted IV multiplayer and I was terrible! Still so fun though!

I feel like the first TLOU multiplayer was the best online multiplayer I’d ever played. I, as well as my son and my nephews, was looking forward to this like anticipating a new release. What a mistake to ditch it!

Street Fighter IV is the best Street Fighter to ever release. It’s so good that I can’t play V because of how much of a step back I think it is. And VI’s model just isn’t for me.

How do people get riled up so quickly without any real information? Do people not realize that waiting to know more is far less stressful than jumping to conclusions and being angry over something you don’t even know is definitive?

I’m a Bank Manager. I equate complaining about how this isn’t the norm anymore to how old people get pissed off at me that we don’t mail checks out by default for their new accounts. Times change! Also, are these manuals in cursive? Because god help you if they’re not!

@Reeneman Marathon was the 6th best selling game in March. And April has been selling better. I’ve not played it and have no interest in playing it. But seems to be doing OK.

Could be that it’s not even that bad. But we don’t want these games! Just give it up already!

I’ve always thought I picked PS over Xbox because I’m not really interested in Xbox games. Then I tried them on PS and… I made the right decision.

@RadioHedgeFund agree! They killed Diablo for me by making it an MMO. I used to play it over and over with every class and now it just feels like if I do that, I’m wasting my time.

Capcom hype is real right now! Pragmata and Resident Evil: Requiem are critically acclaimed, Street Fighter movie will likely do well, and Dragon’s Dogma 2 is getting some attention due to a possible (and hopefully real) DLC. GG CC!!!

@Oram77 we're in an era where a woman who looks like Aloy is considered "ugly". Much of the diatribe was based around that opinion. I love the game. But there are valid criticisms to be made. Unfortunately, that one seemed to be the most prevalent.

I may try Warriors: Abyss. Only other game I'm interested in is Horizon and I've finished that one twice over.

Lost Crown is so good! First Prince of Persia game I've ever played in its entirety. Hate that it didn't do as well as it could have.

I’m 86 hours in after starting it last week. Had the week off work and went all in! I rank Dragon’s Dogma 1 as a top favorite and can’t believe I’d waited this long to play Dragon’s Dogma 2. Loving it! Hopefully this rumored DLC comes with an update to photo mode.

@Littlebigmatador I’ve recently said the same about the cell phone comparison. Cell phones how cost more than game consoles and there’s a new version every year.

Cell phones now have to be financed when you buy the latest iteration. Game consoles have a ways to go to match cell phone prices. This leaves me to believe that console price increases might not hurt as much as some think.

As someone who’s getting into the throes of Dragon’s Dogma 2 right now I can say this. If the big reveal turns out to be something as simple as a free camera in photo most 99% of the players would be satisfied. Seriously! If you can’t do photo mode well, don’t do it at all!

@Oram77 this whole gen is stacked! If they weren’t chasing all this live service stuff, gaming wouldn’t be looking as bad as some people think. Anyway, I wanna play the first game before I try this. And I think I will.

I’m all for character creation. Especially since I’m a huge fan of fantasy games. However, if you’re not going with a created character, the preset protagonist shouldn’t feel generic. Kliff sounds generic as hell!

The one thing I dislike about created characters is how they never truly fit into the world. Take Kratos or Nathan Drake. Those guys feel like they’re a part of the world they’re in. Everyone knows their name. Everyone has a real relationship with them.

Now, when you create a character, you pick a name but they never call you that name. And your character either doesn’t speak, or speaks using one word responses. This almost seems like they wanted Kliff to be a custom character.

@HerlockSholmes EXACTLY!!! I’ve only been waiting 21 years for Dark Cloud 3! Since part 2 I’ve graduated college, gotten married, had 2 kids, and bought a house. Life’s been good. Would be even greater with a new installation of Dark Cloud.

Dragon’s Dogma 2! Considering that I rank Dragon’s Dogma 1 as a top 10 game for me, I surprise myself by waiting so long to play Dragon’s Dogma 2. Especially since I’ve had it for over a year. Anyway, loving every minute!

Imagine those people who decried Ghost of Yōtei a failure after about a month?! She’s got legs! And she knows how to use’em!

@BleedingDreamer oh, I know that. Just made a resolution to not pay more than $29.99 for a video game and I’m sticking to it. It’s been easier than expected seeing as how so many great games go on sale. I got Astro Bot for $26.99 and it’s amazing!

@HerlockSholmes this is me as well. I keep checking for a price drop but can’t find one good enough yet. Currently it’s $48 on Instant Gaming but I didn’t wanna pay that much. Now it’s all sold out. Well, wait for the next sale, I guess.
