Can we not give free advertising for the horrible publisher who made this game, PS?

If anybody wants to buy the plates I bought, I’m now selling them for $2,000 on eBay.

Sackboy Selene is still my favorite. But man oh man. I wish I had cool cosplay costumes like this when I was playing the ripsnorter and getting my platinum!

@Carl-G I’m willing to bet preventing saving games to USB is a piracy prevention tactic. Remember the twilight princess save that allowed Wii consoles to be unlocked and home brewed? I’m guessing that’s why, anyway.

@SweetChaos ghost of Tsushima is not a free upgrade. It’s $10 more IF you bought the directors cut extended version whatever. Else it is $30 more. Not free.

Yeah… I’ve justified Sony’s price increases so far, but not on this. Pass.

@FatalBubbles I agree that there should be some sort of channel for a publisher to affect prices TO AN EXTENT. The switch eshop has become basically unusable from all the “discounts” from $9.99 to $0.09. I’d like to keep my gaming systems and stores clutter free of shovel ware. But yeah, Sony should consider letting publishers have better freedoms to change price, have sales.

@Juanalf No. I mean if a developer wants to put a game on a certain platform, the developer needs to educate him or herself about the economy of being on that platform and not expect Sony to give them free marketing. I don’t know any platform that does this, so not sure why everybody is being so salty towards Sony.

@Tarod1 I paid $88 after tax for the deluxe edition. Well worth it. Oddly enough, after platinum-ing it, I looked at my play count. 88 hours. (About that many deaths). So I got 1 hour of play through (and a death!) for each dollar I spent. Well worth it. I’d recommend you look for the next sale if regular price is too much for you, though.

@naruball no. It’s their platform, they can do what they want with it, charge what they want for it. If you don’t like it, you can go to a different platform.

I just tried it out on my LG CX. It looked… worse. Not sure if I have some setting somewhere that makes 120 hz mode look bad. But. Ugh. No thanks. Weirdly enough when switching back to performance RT mode; it still looked bad like a 30 FPS game. I had to disable 120 hz mode in order for the buttery smooth 60 FPS feeling to return. Maybe I just don’t know what I’m doing?

@OmegaStriver agreed. That’s why Xbox just seems icky to me right now. And I have all three consoles.

@john_c I think the point they were trying to make is, if you extrapolate the data, you can make an educated guess what the digital plus physical is, and it’s still not great.

Those of us who got the platinum before 1.4 know we did something spectacular and the way it was meant to be done. 🙃

Look at all the “experts” on this forum claiming they know tech and list out reasons why this can run on that. And blah blah blah. Didn’t anybody ever tell you nobody likes a no-it-all?
