@Fiendish-Beaver I'm loving Hell Is Us as well, it's been a while since I played a game that isn't a soulslike but still has the complex quest design without map or objective markers. I enjoy being a bit more relaxed in my exploration.

Sword of the Sea by default, but if that hadn't released last month I wouldn't have bought any 'new' games at all.

Edit: Not to say it's not deserving of it, I really enjoyed my time with it and am planning on another go through and maybe the platinum.

Is this the real reason publishers wanted to delay their games? They knew the popularity of Silksong would crash the stores, so people wouldn't actually be able to buy their games even if they wanted to.

I'm not reading this, I will solve all of the puzzles myself (quietly bookmarks page)

Loved this from the demo, I was already intrigued but I preordered immediately after playing it. Can't wait to get it this week!

Hell Is Us! Got the deluxe edition preordered, can't wait to get further in than the demo and really see what it's about.

Psychonauts 2 is a good get, I'm not interested in Stardew Valley myself but I'm sure plenty will, and I love a puzzle game so I'll try out Viewfinder. But yeah, only 1 of them being native PS5 is disappointing.

I sincerely hope so, but with the amount of time and lack of news we've had with this game until right before release it's a sales pick up for me either way (unless genuine reviews and gameplay come out and it's absolutely fantastic)

Saw this this morning, 'purchased' it, will probably never play it, but free is free.

Definitely giving this a go. Interested to see how similar it is to previous Sonic racing games, I did enjoy them, particularly Transformed.

If I pick this up (too many games, not many money) then I will not be going for the platinum then. And that's ok.

Mirage was good for what it was, a trimmed down AC experience, but I've got everything I wanted to out of it and no amount of suspicious DLC will get me to return.

I played Legends in Tsushima a couple of times, it's something that some people may get a kick out of but not something I'm particularly interested in. Glad it's there though.

I'll just wait until an inevitable 'Complete Edition' is available and on sale at some point. This did interest me when it was announced, but I'm almost a decade older now and it's lost a lot of its appeal.

@CriticalHit I was going to say this exact thing. Why would anyone be unhappy that someone else can enjoy the same things as them? More multi-platform releases please!

Scummy practice, potentially detrimental to these creators' careers by making it appear they've said things they absolutely haven't. Today it's marketing a dying game, but what else will companies do knowing this may work on many people?

This was going to be a definite buy anyway, but it's nice to know it won't break the bank.

From not really liking it at all to recently completing all 3 endings this excites me greatly! Hopefully they use everything they learned and use that from the start.

I found it after a bit of searching, it is a separate product on the store but it was free. Downloading now, never got round to finishing it so I want to give it another shot.

It just basically has to do what the previous games have done while looking better doing it and I'm sold.

The feature I'm most looking forward to is the split screen multiplayer. Now my wife and I will actually be able to play together on the same console.

Claimed but won't be using, they're not great. I'll be sticking with Brok.

I have been very confused as to what this game will be like to play, I'm glad I'll get a chance to try it first. More games need demos.

Take as long as you need Larian, we'll be there when it's ready.

@Can-You-Believe-Sith I will try and be the first but inevitably become the second when I can't figure it out.

I consider myself lucky that I haven't run into any hugely disruptive issues, just some occasional freezing that works itself out after a few seconds, but some of the other fixes noted here will be welcome.

I normally stick with my boy Brok but I'll have a look at these and see if any look good.

Lies of P is definitely the highlight for this month. If you have even a passing interest in soulslikes then give it a go, I bounce off a lot of them but I loved it and the DLC.

This game is beautiful, it deserves an art book to celebrate that. Would love to get this, but it depends on the price.

Another I am very excited for this year. I like the sway away from soulslike, it'll at least feel a bit more unique in the sea of similar games.

I caved and bought it (for a discounted price) and I can say the one technical issue I've had in my first few hours is the game literally freezing for a few seconds during some fights with larger enemies. It's not been enough to make me swear it off completely but enough for me to leave it until there's been a patch to see if it's been fixed. Generally it has been enjoyable so far though.

I've read this review, middling 6, and watched one review on Youtube that sung the games praises highly (though that was on PC) so I'll keep an eye on it but I need to see more gameplay before I decide to buy.

@AdamNovice I'm the same, I played it when it first launched on PC but then missed all of the content updates since then, so I just don't even know where to start.

Up there with the best as one of my favourite games of all time. It didn't feel like I was completing all the side content for the purpose of completing it, I was just so enthralled with the world and the setting that I would still be there if I hadn't pulled myself away for other games.

I absolutely applaud the addition of new content without asking for further payment, and I often see myself going back to games I've finished if an update is substantial enough (GOW:R being the biggest recent one) but I can see how it could frustrate completionists.

Finally (fantasilly?) Square allowed then to put some of their iconic characters in the game! Why did it take so long?

@Ravix I would definitely appreciate additional streaming games. It's annoying having to connect my Portal to my PS5 to play a game that I could stream direct to the PS5, but I have to have it downloaded because you can't stream games to the PS5 and play them on the Portal.

I loved the base game, this is an absolute buy for me, and hopefully if it's priced right more people will give it a go and go back to play Rogue City.

I have been playing this on the Switch for a few weeks, it feels like a cross between Loop Hero and Vampire Survivors. I've been loving it!

Already own and have put a lot of time into Diablo IV, Jusant looks interesting and I will give KOF a go but I don't expect it to grab me. Decent month though.

@DaveTheRave We've all been there, do you wait and not get to play the game soon, or do you bite and risk it? Luckily I got the physical at a good price so if it does go on Plus I can just sell it.

This will likely be a purchase for my wife soon, she loves the Two Point games.

Just work on making great games, not looking at what other great games have done and copying them. FF has its own identity that it's sort of diluted in the last few games, but I wouldn't want the next one to be a copy of Clair Obscur, I want something unique.

I am knee-deep in a soulslike obsession at the moment, and I am clamouring for any game that does something different to pull me out of it. I'm really starting to burn out on the formula.

But seriously, I feel sorry for everyone who had to work hard on this and likely knew it wasn't amounting to anything worthwhile, who may now find themselves without a job through no fault of their own. I hope they can find something else quick enough.

He did a fantastic job for what he was hired for, he deserves the praise he's getting. How long (or short) he worked on it doesn't detract from the quality of the end result.

Love that they get properly rewarded for the results of their hard work. It's a great game (that I am yet to finish) so they deserve every sale they get.

So it's not being made by Ubisoft then?
