I like the prototype better, eve in game looks the worst out of all the characters to me.

Honestly it makes since the game didn't do so great, there's only so much you can even do with a franchise like this and bringing back characters from the first one after 2 games without them wasn't it. I have the other 3 games (although I wouldn't have gotten Bts if it wasn't forced with true colors) and while I enjoyed the ones I played, there's nothing that makes me want to jump into double exposure until it's drowning in a discount.

It's probably because I played portable last year.... And that stupid dlc situation, but they took all the wind out of my sails for reload. I often wonder what even goes into the criteria of selection for this award since most of the winners have not been enjoyable at all to me and this time the probable shoo-in is a dlc (coincidentally of one of the only winners I did like).

@DennisReynolds Atlus has 4 games this year.

@Kang81 I really wish I felt that way about arkane until redfall, I own all their games except prey and can't stand any of them except deathloop, redfall just felt to me like everybody else arriving where I was already at (with the walls crumbling leaving only disappointment).

These marketing deals are so stupid, it's like how when you play a game with cross platform and just see a generic controller between the Xbox and playstation but the steam or epic player or whatever other launcher can see the playstation and Xbox logos just fine.

These publishers spend their money on things that don't matter but then wonder why people get upset when they close studios and lay devs off.

Seem to be missing that neurolink one even though I never messed with the difficulty after seeing a video that had showed there was one with the dodge prompts.... Lol I did not get cheated by the elder for 90 full minutes to be disrespted like this after going through him and the unidentified the intended way.

I didn't like the demo which made me go from buying it day one to waiting for a sale... I obviously changed my mind since I didn't have anything to play and well, Now I'm on the cusp of the platinum if I can just find these last 3 stupid camps... Wish there was an in game map for this.

I had such a good time with sea of stars, as soon as I found out who it was made by I was on board (same with unicorn overlord) but the sound track is what I REALLY like about the game. A good soundtrack will stay with me much longer than the other parts of a game, it's weird

@RicebinBernacky They're probably aware, but this is the only game they'd spend money on most likely so they probably already owned it before it got added... Unless the game released day and date on there... Sony reminded me I hadn't claimed it yesterday, like I can't imagine a game I'd want to play less.

@ErrantRob As somebody that also mostly plays single player games, you'll probably just have to hop around to find out. For a time I've found myself losing hours to destiny 2 and Warframe the most since they're what I fall back on when I have absolutely nothing else to play in between games I'm waiting on.

@KaijuKaiser I don't know, it seems like a lot of theor ips are just languishing at this point. Still waiting for news about a power stone, darkstalkers, project justice, viewtiful joe, breath of fire, or especially since I really want a good beat em up, final fight.

This game never really felt like it was made for anybody in particular. I'm not sure what's going on with dino crisis, but I'd imagine more people would have wanted that instead.

I enjoyed the game itself almost as much as the 2018 one... I didn't enjoy the story like I was hoping to at all though, Brok is still the MVP though.

@Rafie This is a mentality I have never understood, none of these consoles are rivals to the consumers since nothing is stopping us from buying them all if we wanted... Unlike decent cable service.

Here are some possible initial problems I think the game has, you can only play as Peter quill, possibly too much rocket raccoon (this is a personal one for me since I absolutely hate this *****), no movie tie-in, and general hesitation. I wasn't even interested in this game at all when it launched, it went on sale quite a few times before I even considered buying it too, but so much positive word of mouth finally made me bite the bullet in November for the deluxe edition and I gotta say......... It was pretty damned great.

I still don't like peter much and hate rocket even more, but it was still good. I really dig the soundtrack too which was why I got the deluxe, it's a shame it supposedly underperformed, didn't really enjoy many games as much as this one last year.

@GADG3Tx87 How far back through time are we pulling from here? The xbox one for as much flak as people give it only has like 6 actual xbox games with less than a 70 average. Those being ryse, crackdown 3 (no idea why anybody thought this would be good), recore, state of decay 2, sea of thieves and bleeding edge. So yea they've got some bad ones in there but that narrative implies everything was trash which is funny.

They aren't really off, the gun combat in uncharted 4 and last os us too felt pretty janky to me, 2 was definitely better than the first one but still not really great... I lust disliked combat in general for the 2nd one though, felt like I was playing rise of the tomb raider half the time because somebody from miles away would somehow hear me creeping and small armies would descent.

@GADG3Tx87 This narrative about a making a game above 60 on metacritic must be very old, the last 5 games they actually made all got well above a 60..... but I understand that's just how it works when you're hostile to one platform over another for reasons.

It kind of sucks having to run through the biomes again after you probably spent so much time on just one part. I just beat the 5th boss and didn't get either trophy associated with doing so hopefully i get lucky and find these fragments fast so I can beat him again to get the damned things.

Crazy to think this game actually came out while I was actually still buying games (I stopped for 4 years before the 8th gen began) and I never even bothered with it. I got brought back into the fold because I wanted to play nier automata, having known nothing about the series prior and now I get a second chance.

This decision is kind of weird, why weren't they thinking about putting PlayStation games on mobile back when they had the Xperia play to launch them with? They want to do this after they shut down the store to both the psp and the Vita? Just feels funny to me, do Sony phones even still release widespread?

I couldn't even name the last Xperia phone I've heard about, I know they could always just release an Android app (as apple will probably hit them with the same bs it's hit Google, Microsoft, and amazon with), but this really could have helped the company as a whole if they'd just done this 10 years ago laying the foundation.

The show being on gamepass also means the game, should people on Xbox decide to buy it, won't have to spend the 70 bucks on it either, that'll probably sting more than it just being on there in general. Getting it for 15 a month AND being able to buy it outright for cheaper... I guess this could also be good for the PlayStation if they decided to price match (doubtful, but still possible).

@blinx01 So who funded the PC port? A port that not only came out the year after it was released, but years before the Xbox version which was 3 years after the game's initial release.

@Ralizah This is how I've felt about most of the games so far, like aside from very obvious cases where the framereate is better, you'd probably need a magnifying glass to spot the other visual differences.

I'm not to excited about control since I already own it, however there is a 2nd chance to 200% it again, and by extension of next gen upgrades, a 3rd and 4th chance should I be willing to dive that deep into the rabbit hole.

Pretty roundabout way to promote game pass... This ain't the way Phil.

@nessisonett Don't do it, trying to play both at the same time is definitely overkill. It took me a while to finish them both and I played them a year and a half apart. I also went for 100% with both games though (since I had already gotten so close just trying to do everything that seemed like it needed to be done before the cutoff points), so mileage may vary.

It makes sense that they would stop making the pro at some point before the slim. Just like with the one x and the series lines, they'd do better making it seem like the gap from the base consoles is larger than the mid gen uodates. I had a PS4 slim and a one S so the changes were immediately more noticeable to me than someone with one of the newer models last gen.

It's crazy how buggy the game is (I knew it would be, but still), it's even crazier that the only thing I've personally encountered were floating items on occasion and Jackie walking through three lockers that just flew up open like they were caught in a tornado.

I'd also like to mention that I never had a day one patch or anything to download (series x), the size is currently 59.3 GB for me.... which is almost 9 GB less than I downloaded it at so I'm not even sure what that's about.

That being said, the game so far hasn't been as crazy with body mods as I was hoping, I'm tryin to replace every piece of organic material on my character, but I haven't seen anything suggesting you can.

People put way too much stock in these awards shows whether they be music, movies...or games now. Who cares what what has won, if you didn't like it it wouldn't matter what it won. I played tlou 2 and while it wasn't nearly as memorable to me as the first, it wasn't as terrible as some people want to paint it to be. I mean dragon age Inquisition also won goty awards and I know people hated that game, so do they really hold any meaningful weight at the end of the day?

There are a bunch of videos on YouTube talking about Neil was begging for votes and how the awards were rigged, like it's really not that serious, why do you care so much, just move on (I know tis for that clickbait revenue).

I hope they put some kind of heist similar to this in GTA VI, I may actually be inclined to purchase it if I can perform these kinds of missions.

@Jayslow Ther s a difference, the people in the us are actually still buyin the systems, these fools are definitely just trying to steal them.

@ShotgunRunnr I'd definitely buy more games in the series if they did that, I only have 5, I've always been vaguely informed on the series but I'd never owned one until 2017, didn't really play the game until this year though when I got royal.

@TheIdleCritic If you're a trophy hunter, I think it's pretty simple to get the Platinum, time consuming though.

It's for reasons like this I kind of wish Sony didn't stop support for the Vita, I'd have gotten one by now if they had kept it up. Another handheld is probably out of the cards, but damn would I like one since I missed out on the vita.

@TG16_IS_BAE I know they all have their own online services they want you to buy, that's not what I mean though.

I kind of hate how Sony and Microsoft have seemed to become so entrenched in one type of experience for the last gen. I think thats really one of the reasons the switch took off like it did, because they were able to make good games for both experiences. If you look back at the ps2, GC, and Xbox era that was one of the best ones because all 3 consoles makers had a variety of games with multi and single player on top of the third party stuff.

This reminds me of that AR app that let you put ps5s and series X's on any surface you wanted them on, I watched a YouTube video the week before they released about a woman ordering things off Alibaba using these faked photos and fake listings, it was hilarious some of the responses she was getting when she asked for more details.

@Royalblues Until Sony actually officially does something it'll be what it is. If they made some way to emulate the older games it'll be the best thing since sliced bread and if they say they're permanently moving away from ps3 and under games it'll be no big loss.

@HMazzy111 Demons souls isn't even a ps2 game and considering at least 3500 of the consoles are collecting dust and people can't even get the system, more than 5% already had played it.

@Steel76 Man, I still have nightmares about all the games I wanted to play but didn't have the time or money (being a kid) to get when the ps2 launched. All I had was Tekken tag, a blockbuster membership, and Doa 2 hardcore, so not even an adventure game.

I really only have Spider-Man and bugsnax so I have to go with Spider-Man by default. I'm still looking forward to an actual launch game though, I know one will be here by at least march.

Yea man, I know I put in the effort to preorder mine online, but if I have to make a choice between doing this and not getting one. That ps5 isn't that much of a must buy right now to spur me into this action... Especially in this climate we've had in 2020.

When I still had GCU through best buy I bought physical a lot since it was always cheaper, but once it ended since I had already been game sharing with a friend I just went back to that. The biggest problem with physical to me is I can no longer just pop the disc in and start playing immediately, so if I have to install it anyway I might as well just buy it digital.

I only owned 8 physical games out of like 180 for the ps4 (got it in 2017) so going digital for the ps5 was easy for me plus I figured it'd be easier to get.

These are some really damn weird bugs man, I didn't make the launch of either co sole last gen so I don't know how things were then, but some of these are just down right goofy.

Certainly has been very lucrative for scalpers.
