I haven't encountered this bug myself, but I feel like if I did it would probably be peach beach splash. It was one of the last ps4 games I played (although I only have Astro's, MM, and bugsnax for the ps5 currently).

@LordSteev I know how you feel, I missed all the hype around 3 because I didn't play it until 2 or 3 years after release so I mostly just had an okay relationship with it, so I was REALLY looking forward to Andromeda pulling me back in. I still have yet to even get anywhere in that game.

@LordSteev Heh, even if the Diablo and mass effect in question are the original Diablo 3 and Andromeda? I never played vanilla Diablo 3 so it was great to me, but I know people hated it at launch.

@Gilvin By the time it does, it'll hopefully have matchmaking in place... One of the things this type of game requires to hit it's original goal.

Thankfully my ps5 only has that janky squeaky sound being made by my controller's square button similar to yongyea's d pad in his unboxing video.

Since I've spent most of my time never having actually played online with the playstation since... maybe that modem you had to use quarters to screw in on the ps2 and exactly one multiplayer game in killzone 2, I though this was as easy as appearing busy/offline on the Xbox. Even on the ps4 this didn't seem a big problem (still didn't stop those e girls from hitting me up all the time though).

I remember being a bit apprehensive about the u.i. changes when I read the design guy (yea I don't know his name) say they basically left no stone unturned. It's kind of goofy to have it defaulting to the ps4 version of a game on the ps5, I didn't know this was a thing until I watched the acg video about it yesterday and went to check it on Spider-Man.

@NEStalgia Thank you for that explanation, I was leaning more towards Dolby Atmos since it worked really well on my note 8, but I at least wanted to try them both out first before I went with it.

@NEStalgia You seem to know quite a bit about this so I may help me, I've been considering between the DTS and Dolby Atmos on which to get. I see you've mentioned Atmos app on Xbox a few times, do you have any experience with the DTS one?

@Flaming_Kaiser I think they're being sarcastic, I saw a bunch of people on the website over the last couple years acting like anything below a 9 was a bad game.

@Carl-G As much as I agree with you about the testing, there's also no way these companies can test and catch everything that can go wrong. Out of millions of these things there are going to be bugs that slip through the cracks.

I was planning to buy this when it came out but wound up buying persona 5 royal instead because I wasn't entirely sure what type of game it was. Now I guess I'll just wait until it goes on sale again.

Bit of a shame since this was the only one I was looking forward too at first since I wasn't sure I wanted miles morales at launch. Then they started advertising the game with no actual gameplay for a while, then I was watching an acg video about how weird the coverage of the consoles was featuring a bit of gameplay from godfall and it made me change my mind about Spider-Man.

Just because it was remastered doesn't mean they had to try to "pretty" up the artstyle. That'd be like Nintendo re-releasing wind waker, but it looking like skyward sword, basically changing one of the game's core identifying features.

Them making peter look like he’s in middle school instead of college made me change which version I was gonna buy yesterday I’d almost forgotten until I looked again, I just got miles by himself. Once I get over that I may spend the additional 20 bucks, but for now I’m fine with the regular version.

I have an appointment to go pick mine up tomorrow at best buy, that experience was pretty rough so I'm surprised I actually got one. You'd think these retailers would do better to combat bots, but I guess money is money.

Amazon sent one of my friends an email yesterday telling him the Xbox he ordered was delayed until December 31st, I thought they were supposed to send those out way earlier, that's a huge delay for somebody that got it on the day sales went live.

It's going to be weird moving forward to see frequent load screens eventually become a con. As long as they aren't as ridiculous as the ones in DB Kakarot, but this is the ps4 version. If games do have to have load screens I hope they make use of them like mass effect did, those elevator convos were great and I kind of miss them, God of War is the only other recent game I can think of that made proper use of them.

I never really cared for kunimitstu but this is good news for people that do. I kind of hate the approach here though. They've added so many old characters via these season passes, now I shudder to think about Tekken tag torunament 3 in the future.

Lol I don't have ps plus at the moment since I'm waiting until I get my PlayStation to input my code for 2 years so I guess bugsnax will be my first ps5 game. 😂🤦🏾‍♂️

@Mostik Lol yea now that sucks, getting the game and it doesn't even come with a manual so you can't even do anything with it until the following week.

@skaarj217 It simply reports that it no longer recognizes that console's existence anymore.

Nice to see nothing can save you time when loading into GTA online, that's a technological achievement on its own right there.

I think this is a better approach. Origins and Odyssey are the closest I've gotten to 100% in any Ac games and while I am one away from it in origin (I mean really, I'm not going to complete every single location for that last one), I actually surprised myself by being within 3 of doing it for Odyssey and actually completed all 93 of them.

@Peach64 People have been doing it for decades in the us since online ordering wasn't always a thing and most times it was first come first served. There's also the bots that were crashing most of the sites when the Preorders went live or thinking you had one in the cart only to find out it's gone when you go to checkout.

I'm a bit disappointed that after he said make an entrance all he did was hopped like 3 feet down into some shallow water, instead of jumping over to impale some fool tryin to stop them.

Ha, this is a 10/10 headline for me. I very much enjoy horror in all forms so I can't relate entirely, but the headline gave me a good laugh

Most Ubisoft games lately have been good to buy if they're on sale. I can't get into this series despite trying with both of the previous ones, Gods & monsters may have a chance to be the only one I buy at full price, but we'll see how it's received first.

@Bartig Man, I used to look at those a lot... Even if for some games it wasn't reliable because the games were months away with high scores.

Psh, this just means he "finishes" more games than me, I don't really play for those trophies on most of the games because some are more tedious than entertaining to obtain. I had a ps3 before they added them and didn't get one platinum until 2018 god of war persona royal being my latest.

Hopefully this iteration pictured never makes it into the app, I haven't really ever used the web browser version of the store. So if they do change the app to be closer to it, they work out all the problems they have here first.

@johnny30 That is the entire issue, you shouldn't need to click every single item in the store just to find out what it is.

I don't really care who all you have to play as, as long as screwball is dead and gone or something. She and her missions were annoying in the main game and damn right insufferable in all 3 of the expansions.

@Alfieburns I'm kind of glad you didn't only play as ellie, after a while playing her side of the story got to feeling monotonous to me because I kept having to mow down groups of enemies.

@AhabSpampurse Thats why you're still in luck, because the Xbox didn't have any games since most of them were also on PC according to a bunch of people.... Sooooo you could still very well play the next doom game.

@Gmork___ Aside from RE3 and the last of us I can't even think of anymore that came out this year. I'm sad right there along with you, it's been one of my favorite genres in movies and games since I was a kid.

I wanna play this game while it's running at its best (console wise) since I already enjoyed it so much back when it launched, but Therein lies my problem. I'd need to buy it again, which is just unfortunate.

@777Reigns This is how it's been at least for the last 3 years. 2017 had Destiny 2 (counts In a way) Ac Origins, CoD WW2, Shadow of War, that South Park game, Mario odyssey, the evil within 2, star wars battlefront 2, and Wolfenstein 2. 2018 had Ac Odyssey, DQ11, Spider-Man, CoD BO4, RDR2, Tomb Raider, and smash bros. 2019 had Death stranding, pokemon SwSH, Borderlands 3, gears 5, monster Hunter world icebourne, Link's Awakening remake, star wars Jedi fallen order, outer world's, the medevil remake, and Cod MW.

@carlos82 Around Christmas or not too long after one of the dlc packs is the best time to pick up an Ac game lately. Bought both origin's and Odyssey's special editions on sale, gold for origins and ultimate (don't buy this one) for odyssey. I'm kind of hoping they give us another whole remastered game as part of the dlc because honestly that made Odyssey worth a lot more than origins to me despite liking origins more.

@Agramonte Genshin doesn't, that's the first thing I was looking for after I started it on the ps4 instead of my iPhone because it wasn't working for some reason. Gotta start over pretty much.

@Gmork___ From my experience, you can't really voice chat with each other unless you use discord or some other voice chat app.

I never even noticed this, I mostly used those lights at the top of the controller to check the batter. To be honest I really don't even remember using the ps button much at all on the system when I didn't need to.

@KidBoruto My backlog isn't that big because I didn't have the PS4 as long as the previous ones but I have quite a few to to hold me over too, I just forgot some of them may not be optimized until you reminded me. Guess I better get to it.

Waiting on this game and the new consoles is at an all time high of sucking at this point to me, it wasn't a problem before we knew more stuff about them all, but knowing they're so close but still so far away only makes it worse. Especially since cyberpunk comes out the week after and a few months will pass before the optimized version comes out.

@KidBoruto I wouldn't even bet on that, we barely got the 3 we did have and it would have been a perfect open world game theme at any point over the last 10 years. Never played enter the matrix or online, but I did enjoy the path of neo.

I'm so glad it looks like they dropped or at least muted all that blue in the interface. Now I just need them to add some kind of cloud service so I can upload my video clips to and share them directly in my group chat instead of through YouTube.

Speech to text is great when it works.... and then there are times when the message turned into an alien language where the listening device only heard like 3 words.

Heh... It's kind of sad seeing Jak here, his look hasn't been updated in over a decade and a new game is long over due, maybe this time Jak 3 will get a proper follow-up.

@oldschool1987 I would inagine Sony has people looking at this that can make the distinction whether somebody reporting has a legitimate complaint or not.

And here I was thinking Microsoft was leading the charge in wiping GameStop out, they throw them a lifeline. They shouldn't have closed their stores then they wouldn't have even needed to do this (I don't think it's bad but I actively trying to avoid game stop), but I suppose covid and not actually being in physical retail for most of its existence had a big role in that.
