@NomNom That's usually by people with little to no imagination, they'd see Alphonse and be like "why can that suit of armor talk? this is dumb." Meanwhile they're watching a show where a bunch of plastic and silicone also emit sounds similar to speech.

The movement in this game does look llke it could be fun and aince it's focused on exploration means I'll probably enjoy doing it. That being said, I'm still a but disappointed that going on 3 generations now, open world games continue to not include a character that can actually fly, the hunter in this game somehow slides along the ground at incredible speeds after shooting those boxes and can fly for a time on that eagle, just seems weird to me the line they draw when it comes to realism.

That's one of the reasons we haven't seen a superman game (or anything similar) in 14 years, but plenty of games with horses over that time. I'd just like a break from the monotony of the way a lot of open world games have been recently.

I'm kind of scratching my head about the firet sentence, between Spider-Man and maybe the last of us 2, what quality line of exclusives were there to pass the time? My 2 years since Spider-Man have been a damn snoozefest on that front, even when the last of us 2 came out I got it that weekend and just finished it this weekend (before I started back it said the last time I played waa june 29th).

Now I stopped playing it because I got tired of having to fight like 10 people nearly every encounter with ellie like I was playing rise of the tomb raider. Abby, who social media says I should hate, actually was the more enjoyable one to play as to me.

@GADG3Tx87 Guess it depends on which side of the fanboy spectrum you fall on, both sides have continually flip-flopped when its been their side. Like you said xbox players as if there also aren't pc players upset by this as well since they're getting the game too.

Thinking again about this game, I just remembered there used to actually be exclusive games for each platform. I already mentionee that ubisoft naruto game path of the ninja, but that was for the 360, the ps3 had the ultimate ninja storm, and the wii/gc had ninja clash, even the psp and ds had their own naruto games.

It's crazy to think about how many used to come out in a year that each platform had their own exclusive line of games even within the same franchise.

The wwe games used to be smackdown for thr playstation, raw for the xbox and WrestleMania/day of reckoning for the gamecube. Kind of miss those days to be honest even if a lot of the games werent as good as others.

@Medic_Alert It would also be a massive sound of back pedaling for those people that claim nobody wants to play old games on new hardware that they've been spouting for 7 long years.

@naruball I don't know, I'd say all the women having the exact same body shape excluding Wendy and I think her name was meredy (the girl Wendy formed that magic girl duo with) looks like a ton of fan service by itself to me. Even edolas wendy has the same body type as the rest.

@SoulsBourne128 That's most likely because it wasnt made by bamco, which is actually shockijg because they seem to have a monopoly on most anime ip. Hooefully we see a tike again when there are other devs/pubs making these games (think ubisoft making 2 naruto games was the last time I remember).

@jorel262 They wouldn't be gettin that internet traffic otherwise. At this point it has gotten beyond stupid that people that all play the same Damn games minus maybe a dozen or so limited ones can find so much to argue about and waste energy on.

@HotGoomba Could be because I'm on my iPhone, but the game doesn't look much better than anything we've see so far. That being said, I've not really seen a graphical leap at the beginning of a gen since fight night round 3 going from the ps2/Xbox to the 360/ps3 when the game actually looked phenomenal on the new gen. It was like they were 2 different games.

Honestly while I've never really enjoyed the ui for the playststion but it does work for what I need it to until I wanna share something. While I like that I have YouTube as an option, I don't always wanna upload my videos to Twitter or YouTube, I'm mostly just trying to show my friends and they don't have one so I need like Dropbox, one drive, or any cloud drive to save them to.

I only got 5 because I never even heard of many of them until after the ps3/360 days. I don't even remember liberty city stories coming out for the ps2 at all, I thought that was a psp game.

@Arugula I can understand that, it’s currently happeneing to me with the last of us. Okay was the thing that made you lose interest in the game anything to do with vlogger screwball? Because that is absolutely the worst thing in the game to me and is very much involved in all the city that sleeps dlc.

I'd like to see some actual numbers for this, 3 of those were easy to guess, horizon being on there is shocking (although I personally have been recommending it to everybody on the fence about it). And FF7 is although not shocking, still a surprise considering at one point uncharted 4 used to be the top game.

@Arugula If you don't mind me asking, why haven't you? It's a fairly short game and even getting the platinum didnt take over 14 hours.

@Tha_Likely_Lad I think only people that have kids that have never heard no before, buy from ebay when a new one is launched. There's no way they dont know they're probably paying nearly double the price.

eBay, amazon sellers, and walmart's website should all be avoided really, as they all gouge. Was trying to get the cyberpunk xbox from walmart, they had a version that came with an extra cyberpunk controller for 700, even with the extra controller it should have been only been 570 before tax, didnt come with any games or anything elee either and this was before it even got discontinued.

@Jbuggydroid Did your 360 have some kind of issue or something? The part about the ps4 having party chat seems weird to me since the xbox had it since the original. Gonna guess you mean because of xbox live though.

@MasterEMFG Interesting that you think Microsoft was the first ones doing bc or something. When both sony and Nintendo have several consoles that were bc, like the ps2, ps3, pretty much all game boy models, the first ds (probably the 3ds too but I've never owned one of those) and the wii/wii u, even the switch has a bit of it although they got rid of the virtual console.

Seems more likely to me people didnt stop caring about bc until sony decided they were done caring about it.

@TurboTom Nothing will ever shut either side up. I dont see how they still have the energy to wwste on this sh** for going on 20 years now, you'd think they'd just enjoy their damn shared hobby.

@torne It's not all of a sudden that people have been saying sub 60fps was garbage, they've been doing it since the start of this generation. Mostly because of people with pcs acting like they all have top of the line rigs, when steam revealed most barely had pcs that could hit that target consistently either.

On one hand I kind of agree with him, since not everybody is going to be next gen ready as soon as these things launch. On the other hand if they wanna launch the games for both systems at the same time they'll need some new franchises for the series x by itself. It's funny seeing people say that next gen games being Released on the Xbox one will hamper them on the series x...

They can easily optimize them for the new SSD consoles while still hitting the older gen for a transitional period, then once they get a size able new bas3 they can shift away. Sony used to not have this problem during transition since you could still play the previous gen's games on the new system at launch (nobody that has a ps4 wants that anymore I guess from all the comments trashing bc over the last few years).

@Sammerine It cant be any worse than the resident evil movies, people knew the story and the ending to those and it’s hard to say for sure if they even belong under the same franchise tag.

I agree with him too bad we all know paying 70 dollars today isn't going to get us the same amount of game that paying 70 during the N64 days will.

I'm probably going to buy the digital if it's cheaper, I only bought like 8 disc based games, but since best buy and Amazon ended their discount programs in 2018, I stopped buying them. DqXi was the last Playstation game I got and SoTR was the last game overall, sucks too because GCU was really useful for Switch games.

This black one doesn't look bad, black and blue would look better to me, but I don't know if I want either color options right now. I'll probably wait for a special edition, hopefully there's a Grey and red one in th works (it's not exactly the colors, but I want a original Playstation colored version a lot).

While I dont r ally have a problem spending the 70 on a game made by a dev I really like (buy the deluxe edition most times anyway when they go on sale); 2k hasnt been a dev Ive trustrd like that since bioshock infinite. Nba 2k used to be really good when it started on the dreamcast up until maybe nba 2k9 (which came out 12 years ago), this product most certainly won't be worth more than the 3 dollars they'll be charging for it in june 2021.

You know, the greatest mystery in all of this, the YouTubers that claim the fans have responded. Now I'm sure some of them may actually dislike the game, but trying to combat as they refer to them, "biased reviews" how do they think review bombing the game proves a point beyond metacritic also shouldn't be taken serious?

@IronMike The PlayStation store is definitely not any better for finding reviews than metacritic. The last of us 2 and final fantasy 7 had over 3k 5 star reviews from the moment they were out there. Ghosts of Tsushima currently sits at over 1100 5 star reviews between both versions, cyberpunk 2077 with 1500, even Madden and FIFA 21 have them.

While I'd say it's too early for me to get excited based on the games shown so far, I am REALLY interested in horizon 2 and R&C. Now if I finally see Jak 4 coming before the console is released, then I'll get properly excited.

@oldschool1987 You've misunderstood what I said. The guy talking about he only goes forward and doesn't play old games is only saying that because Microsoft has been the one leading the charge this generation, if Sony was still doing it or Nintendo, nobody would be saying that.

Just look at all the remakes this gen, some aren't even that huge an upgrade, yet I see those being dismissed on a smaller scale than BC is being dismissed.

I was wondering how you got Dr briefs to say he was finally done making preparations, good to know that's coming soon. I thought I had to clear all the villainous enemies again though so I've been grinding the special training... Now I'll be severely over-leveled for those times quests I missed.

On one hand, this sucks if you had it all liked up for your PC so I feel bad for those guys. On the other hand thoug, I'm kind of glad all those games aren't relaxing during the same window anymore because I wanted to get them all, now I can just focus on final fantasy 7 and maybe Re 3.

That is impressive, I'm not sure I played that many across the multiple platforms I game on last year, including mobile and tablets. Now he probably didn't finish half of those, but still impressive for a guy that made one of the most popular game franchises of the past 2 decades.

While I don't really think its going to be that big a deal I can kind of see where he's coming from. Just in this comment section I see people dismissing indie games outright and I think out of all the available store fronts I've seen, Sony seems to have the least focus on indie games now, which is kind of weird because I hear the Vita was basically a holy Grail.

Gravity Rush and its sequel were some of the first games I got for my PS4, kind of a shame if there isn't a 3rd one.

They could also be saying episodic because they're also remaking dirge of Cerberus and Crisis core and those are the reasons the game is broken up this way, in which case I think sixty dollars for the main game and maybe fifteen or twenty apiece for those is reasonable.

@AdamNovice Capcom doesn't sound right at home on the PlayStation to me. Most of their games have never even only been exclusive to the playstation, except devil may cry and street fighter 5. They should remain a 3rd party.

@Fight_Sora_Fight It's not really having a negative effect on the games they make. Forza horizon 4 is pretty great and that was the last Xbox exclusive until now Crackdown 3 was never going to be a good game, I don't know why anyone thought otherwise especially given the development cycle.
