@LiamCroft Considering the RT score is based on twice the amount of reviews that the Metacritic score is, I'd say RT provides a better picture of what the general consensus is thus far.

Not to mention, movies topically score much lower on Metacritic than on RT.

Wonder Woman: 93 on RT, 76 on Metacritic
Shazam: 90 on RT, 71 on Metacritic
1917: 89 on RT, 78 on Metacritic
Rocketman: 89 on RT, 69 on Metacritic
Jojo Rabbit: 80 on RT, 58 on Metacritic
etc, etc...

What a BS article. The movie currently sits at 70% Fresh on RT.

Cherry picking certain reviews to make the movie look worse than it is.

Glad they decided to keep the first person camera. It definitely made RE7 that much more scarier and claustrophobic.

I just hope the PS5 (and the Xbox Series X) support the Dolby Vision HDR format.

Hoping the single player isn't just a tacked-on afterthought. It doesn't have to be a full campaign but at least 6-8 hours.

Anthem was and is absolutely terrible. A desolate shell of a game.

Is this confirmed to be 4K with HDR support?

Holding out for a single player game, but I guess as long as it's good I'll be happy with whatever it is.

As a huge PlayStation fan I'm glad to see Nintendo having some great exclusives as well. There's no reason they can't have great exclusives, just as we do.

As for the review bombers, get a life...or better yet buy a Switch and play the game yourself.

I'd prefer Remedy, but any of these studios would be positive additions.

My MOST anticipated game for the rest of the year.

This could be a few things:

Resident Evil 8
Resident Evil 3 Remake
Resident Evil Revelations 3
or
A Resident Evil co-op/multiplayer game

@GodGamer Yes I was referring to your comment on QTE games. But I do agree with you on reviews, which are for the most part someone's subjective opinion, which will not be everyone's experience.

@GodGamer I highly disagree. But these type of games are only as good as their story, characters and setting. If those are not interesting, the rest of the game will suffer, since the gameplay is not substantial.

After PushSquare gave Control a 7/10 I don't know if I can fully trust their reviews. Bought Control yesterday and so far a 9/10 experience.

This game is getting 9/10 and 8/10 across the bored on all other review sites and YouTube channels. 81 on Metacritic right now with most people saying this is great if you like Remedy's games.

DreamcastGuy gave this a 9.5/10.

No. 7/10 is not a bad score. Not even close. In a 1-10 scale, 5 is average. So 1 and 2 are terrible, 3 is bad, 4 is below average, 5 is average, 6 is above average, 7 is good, 8 is great, 9 is excellent, 10 is amazing.

OMG guys, 7/10 is NOT even close to a bad score. Give me a break...

Am I the only one who gets sad at PS5 news? Like, I feel like there is plenty of life still in this generation. I typically don't buy a console until mid way through a generation. I got a Wii in 2011, a PS3 in 2013 and a PS4 in 2017.

I've been an RE fan for a while but after the masterpieces than were RE 7 and RE 2 remake, I NEED THIS.

@KidBoruto Deluxe edition is $40. Standard edition is $30.

I have faith in this game. Respawn (between Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends) has shown they can crank out great games despite being owned by EA. Hopefully it's another home run for them.

I had Athens 2004 on Ps2 and enjoyed the hell out of that game, but these types of games all have the same problem--- they're just glorified button mashers. Hopefully some more intuitive controls will be introduced.
