During its CES 2022 keynote overnight, Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann featured to talk a little bit about its collaboration with Sony Pictures and PlayStation Productions on the Uncharted movie. As you’d expect, it was largely a puff piece, with the executive praising the filmmakers and also expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming The Last of Us television show, which he’s co-written.
However, it’s not all television and movies for the Californian developer, as Druckmann closed with a brief tease: “We’re dying to share with you the multiple game projects we have in the works at Naughty Dog.”
We know the team is working on a standalone, multiplayer adaptation of The Last of Us 2, while there are rumours it’s also remaking the original game in the series. Outside of that, it’s developing Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for PS5, and it’s probably safe to assume it’s in the prototype phase of something new to boot.
Lots to look forward to, then!
