You can’t beat a good ol’ Olympics game, can you? While license holder SEGA may have skipped Rio 2016, it’s looking to build upon the likeable London 2012 with Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game. Due out this summer in Japan and next year in the West, the title appears to feature a host of disciplines, including baseball, football, volleyball, BMX, basketball, and the usual roster of track and field events.

The title will be accompanied by a slew of Mario & Sonic titles, but naturally they’ll be exclusive to the Nintendo Switch – although there is an arcade version due out in Japan as well. This generation has generally been pretty starved of arcade sports games, so we’re all over this new Tokyo 2020 title – let’s hope it can channel the spirit of the Dreamcast’s criminally overlooked Virtua Athlete 2K.
