HADES II!! FINALLY!!!! Been playing the 1st in preparation!! Coming sooner than I expected!!
Ok, this trailer of The Expanse looks much better than the previous one with that extremely cringe dialog. I'm starting to regain shreds of hope 🥹. Is this a shooter, though? I thought it was supposed to be a tactical combat game 🤔.
Grave Seasons, Stranger than Heaven, and Hades 2 out of these.
Yay Serious Sam Shatterverse! SS is always a hoot for me and my wife coop. Looking forward to it. Plenty others to enjoy too...
Seems I was right to miss this one live.
Pretty poor showing imo.
How are we having showcases at the end of March with Spring 2026 still being listed as a release date? Seriously, why do like 90% of games not get release dates until a week before release anymore?
@Yousef-

Interested in: The Expanse, Alien Deathstorm & Eternal Life of Goldman
The STALKER 2 DLC looks awesome. I’m curious, but also skeptical of The Expanse, but it seems awesome.
It was a really good show in my opinion and lots of games I'm interested in.
I don't understand the constant obsession with saying that Xbox are a third party publisher though. It comes across as quite insecure.
@SMJ Because otherwise we get comments asking why we're posting about Xbox!!! 😅
The Eternal Life of Goldman continues to look fantastic!
@get2sammyb Fair enough. 😂
@Toot1st I'd never heard of this game before today and was massively impressed. I think it will be a day one purchase.
The only interesting thing was the expanse game
@KillerBoy are you even a gamer?
Serious Sam Shatterverse have my attention!
I know a small person who's going to love that Bluey game. Hades 2 for me.
Hades 2 being very soon is the biggest story there. Still surprised they havent brought Hades to ps+ yet. Seemed like a banker to add the first ahead of the second, perhaps they sneak it in this month.
Show was very mid. The Artificial Detective looked cool, but the gameplay looked rough.
Glad to see Xbox is still showing the PS5 logos after the trailers.
@somnambulance If you don't post a release date until you're actually ready to release, you don't have to publicly postpone and explain why it's taking longer than expected.
The only thing gamers hate more than no news is news of a delay.
@get2sammyb Not quite sure why Xbox being a third party publisher had to be mentioned in this article though. This was a partner showcase so none of the games are published by Xbox.
I am looking forward to Stranger than Heaven the most. I don't care about Serious Sam but my buddy does so it being co-op from what I understand is great news! I was looking forward to Eternal Life of Goldman but after trying the demo I tempered my expectations a bit.
@awp69 for fanboy clicks
Hades II and Stranger Than Heaven, plus the Starfield port for PS5. It's looking like a busy time
Whatever happened to the new State of Decay. Feel like that was announced forever ago!
As a person who thinks RGG have fallen off hard Stranger than Heaven looks very promising
Moosa and Eternal Life of Goldman looks cool. The rest not interested.
Aaaaargh, just started Trail 1st Chapter remake, there is no way I'll be done when Hades 2 comes out.... That's a problem I love to have
I had hoped for something more substantial on Stranger Than Heaven than a light trailer and a deep dive announcement at a later date. A bit lame. Other than that, there were some mildly intriguing trailers in there, but nothing that instantly made my wishlist. Except Hades 2, but we already knew that's an incredible game.
Just from looking at thumbnail, nothing seems appealing to me. I used to like rgg studios. Now not interested. Moosa looked ok, but that's not coming out anytime soon.
@RobN I honestly disagree. The lack of release dates and pricing is causing me to buy fewer games every year because I can’t create an effective budget anymore in these economic situations. I’m sure others are feeling the same way. Top that off with the fact that games basically need to be a success out the gate or we’re seeing studio closures, I think developers are too scared of negative press when I think people might actually appreciate increased transparency. Gaming requires time, which requires planning. For them to bet on gamers rushing on impulse purchases seems like madness and poor business to me. Movies don’t announce their release dates last minute and they’ve got a similar struggle.
@somnambulance I'm with you on some of that - particularly on price. I hate how many publishers announce a release date but still keep the price secret for ages. The price shouldn't be a deeply-held secret until a few weeks before release.
But ultimately it doesn't matter what you or I think - what matters is what the publishers and developers think. Every time they get negative pushback when they postpone a previously-announced release, every time some development footage shows something they end up cutting and there's pushback, they're being encouraged to hold back those details until they're reasonably sure they won't change.
@RobN And yet we just keep hearing about studios closing because their games aren’t selling immediately at launch. If I was a publisher, I’d be thinking, “am I marketing enough? Am I letting people know my game is coming?” My son has Tomodachi Life’s release date and Yoshi’s release date on his calendar and he’s 8. Either we’re both OCD or release dates give people something to look forward to and it’s a lost art.
My question for publishers is do they literally finish the game and release it with no time in-between? I mean, if that’s the case, no wonder why studios are failing. That’s a business and management issue more than anything else.
BLUEY'S HAPPY SNAPS on PS5 ??!! 😃😃😃

YAAAY...!!! 😄
@UltimateOtaku91 I knew it would be worth skipping live when I saw Xbox in the name of the event.
