Tales of Eternia Remastered

Is it finally happening? Is Bandai Namco actually remastering one of the oldest Tales games? Apparently so, because a PEGI (European) age rating for Tales of Eternia Remastered has leaked online.

But there's a catch. Despite Eternia originally being a PS1 game from 2000, and then a PSP game a few years later, the age rating only lists Nintendo Switch as a platform.

This would be a bit of a weird deviation from Bandai Namco's recent remastering plans, as both Tales of Xillia Remastered and Tales of Berseria Remastered released on PS5 day one.

It could be that this listing is incomplete, or it could be that Eternia is, for some reason, a timed exclusive on Switch. We can't say for sure at this point, but we assume that an official announcement is coming soon.

Tales of Eternia is from a time before the series' move to 3D gameplay. Battles take place on a 2D plane, and all of the visuals are sprite-based.

We'll obviously update this article if there are any additional leaks.
