Nihon Falcom has announced Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter will launch for PS5 on 17th September 2026, continuing the story it brought back with the remake of the first Trails in the Sky game. You can catch a new trailer above.

There are physical and digital PS5 versions available, and a special Collector's Edition has already been available to pre-order for some time now. Interestingly, the Japanese version of 2nd Chapter comes bundled with a download code for a remastered version of the original Trails in the Sky game, but there's no mention of the offer in the West.

If you have game completion data on your PS5 when you play Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, you shall unlock a costume each for Estelle and Joshua based on their look from Trails in the Sky SC. Here the two are:
