I'd love a standalone PS VR which can watch netflix, YouTube, etc just like my smart TV. So I don't have to startup PS4 each time and adjust head tracking collaboration every I lay down on my fat sofa! Fortnite lengthy campaign for sole players would be nice and news of killzone sandbox open world game would be epic grand theft auto 7? 8...lost track of it all.
Looks fun! It's given me an itch to be Indiana and Jones mixed with The Mummy feel. Reminds me of exhumed on Sega Saturn - loved that game blasting mummies and Egyptian gods! Rebellion would be a perfect fit for a Timesplitters remake too!

That's the great thing about passionate creatives/devs/writers! They come up with new ideas that break the mould and excite us gamers all again. Eg. Drake's daughter gets kidnapped (by ex boss from previous games) and goes rebellious for a short while... Then seeing Elena having a breakdown taken away to mental hospital, whilst Sam goes on a mad revenge spree, whereas Sully and Nathan need to make tough choices to help rescue their daughter by going on tough missions for the captors... If emotionally produced like last of us/uncharted 4 I'd cry like a baby all again!
Is it a coincidence that curse and osiris is in the title! Maybe there is a God and destiny's worship of idols took it too far lol! I miss Bungie days of Halo when it was all about sci-fi races and totally out there. Maybe the use of human myths just makes it too 'familiar' and loses the imagination of what sci-fi is all about - new worlds, new races, new friends and foes. Can you imagine Star Wars Jedi faces Odin or Ra or Gaia! Jar jar the demigod of Venus. Or mass effect bringing in merlin. Meh!

Hmmm.. Apart from 2048 I thought the rest of the courses were okayish. Maybe this game could do with a story campaign, RPG levelling element for customising ship, hp vs more weapons, tracks across cities in space and varied planets, maybe a war torn galaxy where different alien races settle their anger by racing in WipeOut tourneys. Team 3 v 3. Traps on roads. Prestige increases will get hero to be hired by more powerful space Mafia families. Dunno....
Nice I think it's close to that £200 sweet spot! That's like half a weeks pay I've been using it for VR games and to play epics like witcher 3 and fortnite on its cinema mode. To all those sitting on the fence, imagine switching your TV off, laying down in a comfy position on your sofa and watching YouTube, netflix, game broadcasts and favourite movies in imax mode! Truly epic and immersive. Once we hit 2nd or 3rd gen and I can easily see it replacing my TV for sole use.
I love following the protagonist in story telling games. For example Red dead redemption, Last of Us, TW3, Horizon ZD, God of war. There's like a connection of understanding how the character feels and getting drawn into their persona. If any of the games I've mentioned just allowed a random character etc like Borderlands, dragon age inquisition, monster Hunter, Skyrim then I feel the world and game mechanics take focus and I don't really care if the chars live or die. Atm... I guess Cyberpunk is giving freedom to replay the game with different classes much like the RPG dice and pencil game. Can't wait to see the game in action!

And as passionate as we are about our hobby we are also fair and honor our opinions and forgiving. I'll give it a go now now since the mtcs are only cosmetic. I do like battlefront btw just waiting for re-reviews incase the levelling system is still messed up (ie. All talk but not fixed) and unfair to paid players.

This is the reason I bought MHW! Hope the bow does extra damage with the skin though. Miss taking down the monster bots in Horizon Zero Dawn with just bow and arrow.
The demo left me wanting more and your review is a positive buy for me. Your 4 hours will probably be 6 for me as I tend to take my sweet time playing games nowadays. And I'm so happy this is a game I could complete in one session! I have so many huge 20+ hour games sitting in my backlog that when I look at them I ponder, "One day I'll find time to play you..."

Loving it still despite being close to tears being battered each time I first encounter a new monster! I gotta admit this game has driven me to Google a lot to learn the weaknesses of the monsters and to swing my switch axe better. Oh and the hook of getting limited armour pieces like Aloys and upcoming street fighter skins is driving me onwards and upwards
Congrats Capcom! Quality is abundance in this game and great reviews really helped put the word out. Oh and battling monsters on a big 4k screen really increases the atmosphere! What I love about this version of MH is grouping up with a bunch of randoms and slapping a monster to bits! The comradarie is awesome! As I got older some of my mates prefer other games and there was a fear of losing that gaming Co op spirit. However the PlayStation community is awesome and co op is strong in this game! I love it when a high level hunter is in the pack and I can just sit back and chillax a bit more lolol.
Thank goodness! I was part of a dweeby gaming group and they forced a stupid nametag on me! Hated that name ever since and this feature is one thing I'd be happy to finally fix. But seriously I'd be happy to pay up to £5 for this!

That's a flipping amazing list for the PS4. Many of those on my library but so many I've not completed cos I keep buying the next big thing! However Horizon I did complete and that was awesome. What's crazy is that most of those RPGSs are in the 9/10 score range. Thanks to all the game developers for their hard work, creativity and passion!

Hey how about Microsoft copy the Spotify model? Play as much as you want for free and just watch adverts every hour! Pay to remove adverts! However I could only afford and have enough time to play on one console so I'd rather choose the one with more exclusives and access to every multi-platform game. Hence ps4. £7.99 per month or £98 per year, does Microsoft have more than 3 decent exclusives to justify paying £100 bucks a year?! Hate being locked into subscriptions eg. Netflix, love film, now tv, sports, virgin, TV licensing, etc.

@YummyHappyPills everyone makes mistakes even poor old Jim Ryan. But can't you see his achievements have majorly outweighed his cons? 20 years marketing the playstation brand. This is the guy who went through the turbulent start of PS3 and battled on and is part of Sony that has helped PS4 dominate this console generation, that is part of a console generation where critics said it'll die and instead it's grown massively to near 75million consoles and is not stopping! Also providing some of the best games in any console generation. Haven't we all said a few dumb things? But have you or I fallen down and got back up stronger than before? This guy and Sony have got up and fought on, probably doing more than what you or I do in our average day lives. I say give praise where praise is due!
Enjoying time with backlog and completed two quick games,Valiant Hearts (superb with good WW1 facts) and Steamworld Heist. Onto Tactics Ogre on vita. And lots of social boardgaming like Scythe, Smallworld, Clank, Betrayal, Carcassonne and Exploding Kittens! Hopefully complete a few more ps4 and vita games before the 2018 game rush bears down upon us!

@YummyHappyPills everyone makes mistakes even poor old Jim Ryan. But can't you see his achievements have majorly outweighed his cons? 20 years marketing the playstation brand. This is the guy who went through the turbulent start of PS3 and battled on and is part of Sony that has helped PS4 dominate this console generation, that is part of a console generation where critics said it'll die and instead it's grown massively to near 75million consoles and is not stopping! Also providing some of the best games in any console generation. Haven't we all said a few dumb things? But have you or I fallen down and got back up stronger than before? This guy and Sony have got up and fought on, probably doing more than what you or I do in our average day lives. I say give praise where praise is due!

Enjoying time with backlog and completed two quick games,Valiant Hearts (superb with good WW1 facts) and Steamworld Heist. Onto Tactics Ogre on vita. And lots of social boardgaming like Scythe, Smallworld, Clank, Betrayal, Carcassonne and Exploding Kittens! Hopefully complete a few more ps4 and vita games before the 2018 game rush bears down upon us!
