The thirties-tinged antics found in Strange Brigade, the new co-op shooter from the Sniper Elite folks at Rebellion, offer up a pretty unique experience. The above trailer will put you in the mood for its schlocky, pulp action vibe and supernatural settings. A mummified witch queen named Seteki has risen from her tomb, and it's up to the titular Strange Brigade to put a stop to the evil threat.
The biggest news to come out of this trailer, however, is the title's release date. You'll be blasting zombies and solving ancient environmental puzzles come 28th August 2018. Pre-ordering the game gets you some bonus content in-game, and there's even a collector's edition which features a steelbook, a model airship, an art book, and more. Pretty standard stuff. Be sure to check out the PlayStation Blog post for more information on the game.

We recently went hands on with Strange Brigade at EGX Rezzed 2018, and had a jolly good time with it. What do you think of Rebellion's latest? Will you be buddying up to take on hordes of ne'er-do-wells? Unwrap your thoughts in the comments below.

Gads, man, I'd pay a pretty penny for this.
The settings look awesome, but it’s not my type of game, sadly.
After playing it at EGX last year I am really excited about this but I think it'll probably get overlooked with both Spiderman and Spyro coming shortly after it's release.
Looking foward to this game.word up son
@Simon_Fitzgerald Unfortunately, that's very likely.
@Quintumply It's a shame as a few weeks earlier would have avoided that problem
Looks fun! It's given me an itch to be Indiana and Jones mixed with The Mummy feel. Reminds me of exhumed on Sega Saturn - loved that game blasting mummies and Egyptian gods! Rebellion would be a perfect fit for a Timesplitters remake too!
This looks hype! I hope it will be playable offline as well. Split screen would be great!
Reminds me of 'Deadfall Adventures' but with co-op options, an underrated game I would argue, one I still remember quite fondly. If they had made a sequel to that game I would imagine it looking exactly like this.
It's a brutal launch window for me, I'd rather play Spiderman, Kiwami 2, Dragon Quest XI, and Spyro to be honest. This game is definitely added to my wishlist though.
This will give me something to play until Spider-Man comes out...
Looks a lot of fun!
