Fist of the North Star, from the team behind the Yakuza series, is launching later this year in Japan, and this latest gameplay video has us wishing for a Western release more than ever. Lasting over an hour, the demo shows a lot of different elements, from combat to cutscenes.
The gameplay starts around the 21:30 mark, but if you want to skip all the tutorial stuff, you can jump ahead to around 30:00. Things get more in-depth around the 55:00 mark.
Would you get stuck into Fist of the North Star if it headed overseas? Never stop attacking in the comments section below.

Ratatatata! Added to my wishlist!
Bring this to Europe Sega please.
So this isn’t confirmed for Western release yet? How does this compare Yakuza? It looks similar, gameplay wise, but I’ve yet to play any of the Yakuzas.
This game looks so awesome, I'm just waiting for the Western release.
I need this in my life. Hope the other Yakuza games are localized as well.
Day 1 and my most wanted game for next year!
@AnimeGamerFan I quite liked it. Its just Dynasty warriors with more blood and weird finishing moves. I also liked Fotns endgame stuff, 5 or 6 characters dream modes and your done. 100% complete. None of the endless questing for gallery images in one piece pirate warriors or 100 floor challenge in Beserk. I thought it was great if a little drawn out with a lack of objectives.
Now THIS is the anime game I'm incredibly interested. Especially when the Yakuza team making the game just makes it even more awesome. Definitely not as bad as making the Godzilla PS4 team to develop a Seven Deadly Sins game or A Plus to make a Little Witch Academia game.
@viciousarcanum Does that come from this? I love that meme thought it was jojo's or something
EDIT: nvm, I already saw that it was from this but forgot! If they have that in the game I will buy even if it's the worst game ever lol
wow they remade Black Belt?
