The PS4 version has been as low as £7.99 on the store, so a £10 price point (or upgrade) is the most I'll pay to own it for a third time.

I promised myself I'd never pay over £50 for a PS5 game.

Starting to regret that now...

Uno gets fired up occasionally on our PS4, usually when the kids are back from uni. Also Boggle, Jackbox Party (2 & 3 are family favourites), and every now again the two Knowledge is Power titles. Our enjoyment of these types of games dates back to the PS3 era with Buzz Quiz TV etc.

@UltimateOtaku91 Tbf, they've increased the number of tiles on the home page, so although PS+ takes a permanent spot, overall more games are now visible. I like the option to make five permanent. It still orders them by recent date, but the ones you select don't roll off the end.

I don't like the sound of "up to 4K resolution, up to 60 frames per second". Suggests it could be one or the other, not both?

Great game. I was disappointed it initially launched without the PS4 version, but was worth the wait. And yes @sanderson72 definite Skidmarks vibes, but better!

And a very reasonable £34.99... half the price of many PS5 games, with the PS4 version included as well (for the wife & kids). Time for me to go digital.

It seems all is not well at TT Games. This is a long read but very interesting, and I'm a bit worried about the new troublesome NTT engine. Not a good sign that it won't be used again, so beware of pre-ordering (as always!)

It's not actually been that long since the Xbox release, but it feels like I've been waiting ages for Circuit Superstars.

One notable omission is Mushroom Wars 2, due for release on 13th January. The original PS3 game still gets fired up on a regular basis in our house.

@Bamila Yeah the Digital Foundry video did a good job of showing that the PS4 version running on a PS5 was the most stable. The 4K and extra fidelity on the native PS5 version does introduce some framerate issues.

Downloaded and first impressions are actually quite good, using performance mode on a PS5.

Gutted that there's still no PS4 release in sight for Circuit Superstars.

Also gave it a spin on Game Pass. It was uninstalled after 30 minutes. I found it very dull, two endings were enough for me... didn't even get to the twist!

No Rock Band V then?

Give the originals away on PS+, patch the Definitive Edition (properly), then get started on GTA IV

For 64p (PS+ price) I'd highly recommend Journey of the Broken Circle. It reminds me of LocoRoco, and the unspoken dialogue is quite amusing so far. It was released earlier this year for £6.49 and I, like most people, missed it completely. It's only the 2nd time it's been featured in a sale, and I've no idea why it's been discounted so heavily this time.

Anyone else notice that San Andreas is now listed as a standalone game on the PS store?

Another (minor) reason to avoid this release. The underwhelming videos have confirmed to me that remastered PS2 games are not what I bought my PS5 for.

I have great memories of these games... and I'd like to keep it that way.

I was very surprised to see this as a "Just Announced" PS4 title on the PlayStation store today.

As much as I love these games, the lack of information so close to release is a little concerning...

It may not fit the narrative but I've heard from those that have played v0.9.1 today that it does actually make some noticeable gameplay improvements (PS4 and PS5). I'll reserve judgement until I try it later.

Unquestionably the launch has been a disaster, but it's essentially still in Early Access. Eventually we might just get something that resembles the PES we know and love...

So this released in September for Xbox and PC, and the devs say they have no current plays for other platforms

There's speculation this may also get a PS5 release, based on the cover of the special edition...

@Jester1701one Not sure about Death Stranding, but I downloaded the Sackboy trial yesterday and trophies are NOT enabled.

Heads up if you're worried about download times eating into the trial... just download it with another account (same region). When it's complete and you're ready to play on your main account, just press Add to Library and you can start immediately as it's already downloaded.

Has anyone tried it yet... is it really from the start of the download?

Surprised to hear that trophies are enabled. They're not usually on Unisoft 'free weekends' (Assassin's Creed, Watch Dogs, The Crew etc) although I think they are on EA Play 10 hours trials.

Also surprised they've announced it via email rather than the PS Blog.

Thanks for the heads-up, this would have easily passed me by. Maybe one day the PS Blog will resume the comprehensive weekly release schedule (including DLC!).

Anyway, this is an immediate purchase for me and a great reason to return to the game. A shame the Vita release was physical only and now £75+ on eBay ☹️

Annoyingly you still can't check for updates or sync save data from the game library, only from the home screen (and therefore limited to the nine most recently played games).

@IonMagi - it appears you can only track trophies from their tiles in the game's Activities panel, not from the actual trophy list. I don't think they've thought that one through.

Elsewhere, they've tidied up the Game Library with no more red PlayStation Hits banners, a few other game art changes and the likes of Return to Arkham now has two entries, one for each game. Unless that was just my database rebuild?

I'm really hoping they don't just touch up the TFA engine and apply it to the other 8 films... that's what the trailer looked like.

Looking forward to this as it didn't really enjoy TFA. The new ideas (cover-based shooting and alternate builds) were so annoying.

And in other F2P news, Vigor is getting a 60fps upgrade on PS5, with higher resolution to follow.

Definitely interested in this, plus it's sensibly priced too. I've seen pre-orders for £23 (PS5) and £21 (PS4).

A sore reminder of the missed opportunity Team Sonic Racing was. Why didn't they just remaster Sonic All-Star Racing?... complete with Beat, Nights, BD Joe and other SEGA favourites.

Anyway, SMB was the reason I bought a GameCube, and I still play SMB Deluxe occasionally on PS2, so looking forward to this.

@hoffa007 That's essentially what they've been doing for a few years now with the free PES Lite releases.

@Mostik FIFA has featured women's teams for a few years now. I could be wrong, but didn't we have female golfers in the old Tiger Woods PS2 games?

At some point in future, I can absolutely see EA releasing cut-down F2P versions of FIFA and Madden geared around Ultimate Team.

The transfer doesn't award PS5 trophies in the way Jedi Fallen Order does though. You have to earn them again, but can't if you've already met the requirements. The only solution is to start again which completely defeats the point of the save transfer.

Really hope they ensure save data can transfer from the PS4 game. I'd quite like to start a New Game+ on PS5, but no way I'm playing it through again from scratch.

If it's that easy to implement a PS4 to PS5 save data transfer, why's it taking so long for Wreckfest?

Having replayed 1-3 as part of the PS4 remaster package, I'm waiting patiently for PS5 patches for both UC4 and Lost Legacy. Surprised the latter hasn't been a PS+ title.

@Rob_230 Wasn't aware of Horizon Chase Turbo being released on the Vita. I love that game and will definitely pick it up... cross-save would be nice though.

Auto checking of cloud data is a great addition, and not something we had on PS4. I've lost count how many times I've replayed a level simply because I hadn't copied my save from the other console.

UPDATE: According to the update notes, this is only supported for PS5 games, not PS4. Still, better than not at all.

Also, controller charge % is much more informative than the classic 1, 2 or 3 bars.

Judging from the screenshots yesterday, a minor feature that didn't get mentioned is the ability to check/manage cloud save data from the contextual menu of a game tile (ie. triangle). This was possible on PS4 but not PS5... you had to go into the Settings menu.

A big help for anyone that plays on two consoles and wants to keep save data in sync.
