@Ironwright I understand, but it still seems odd that it's the only title in their Black Friday sale not reduced on PSN, yet it is in other regions. Having completed it over the weekend I'll be trading it in tomorrow, so glad I didn't buy it digitally.
I have no idea what Sony is doing in the UK with its Black Friday deals. Reducing the retail price for physical copies of the game but not digital??... I picked it up anyway for £14.99 but seems odd.
@David187 I think the % is based on size, against your 100GB allowance. What some people are finding tricky is a separate limit of 1000 files, and there's no easy way of checking how many you've uploaded.
Let's be honest, having to backup one console's save data manually when you've got two PS4 in the house does scream of first world problems, but hey I'm in the same boat. With PS5 promising full backwards compatibility I'm planning for it to replace one of them, so this shouldn't be an issue for me in future as both will be primary (unless Sony change things again).
Price will be interesting. Noby Noby Boy was 3.19 GBP on PS3 (at launch) but based on current trends I wouldn't be surprised if Wattam is more like 11.99 or higher.
Going offline is fair enough, and PS4 players will still be able to download songs previously bought. However the big issue is the PS3... only around 50% of the tracks available on the SingStore made the jump to PS4, and worse still PS3 downloads were tied to one console per account. After 31 Jan 2020, if that PS3 fails (or you upgrade/replace the HDD) you won't be any to re-download ANY songs. That's a bit harsh and I don't know why Sony have chosen to do this... personally I still prefer to play SingStar on PS3 because of the bigger library.
I forgot about the increase to 100GB. Is that just for PS4 or is it shared across PS3 and PS Vita?...
I ask because I have 16.68GB of saved data on my PS4 (all of which is backed up via auto-upload) yet on the PS+ screen it says only 9% of cloud saves are used.
Part of the discrepancy will be SingStar and SingStar Celebration which share the same 1.79GB save data, but I think it's calculated twice.
Great stuff @get2sammyb... for me it's no coincidence that some of the best Madden games were released at a time when EA had competition with the 2K series.
Over the years I must have played a good chunk of those 121 games, but typically only kept two or three on each platform.
The core gameplay of NFL 2K3, ESPN NFL Football, ESPN NFL 2K5 and All-Pro Football 2K8 holds up well... you should definitely try to play them in that order to experience how 2K fine tuned what, as you say, most believe was the pinnacle of the genre.
I do miss the variety of American Football games, particularly back in the days of the C64 and Amiga. Great memories of TV Sports Football and 4th & Inches, but also more obscure title likes Tom Landry Strategy Football, Head Coach and Super Bowl Sunday.
The implications of this also explains the often misunderstood disk space requirements when downloading game updates. A RDR2 or GT Sport update may only be 5GB but you'll need 100GB free to actually install it ("copy" in Sony terms) based on the size of the overall game.
The hub states 35+ games, then provides a list of exactly 35 lol
It's worth a one-off £3.99 to play the few I'm interested in, but they need to add more or figure out a way of offering the PS3 titles (an EA-only PS Now?) to make it worthwhile longer term.
I can't see this being a licensing issue - surely they'd have that sorted BEFORE the reveal last week?... I've also seen conspiracy theories about PES having a negative impact on the launch of EA Access which will include FIFA 19. Personally I would have preferred PES over Detroit but it was always a strange inclusion given the Lite version is already free.
I'm no EA fan, but at £1.66 per month (annual subscription) this seems a good deal. I've heard there is some rotation of titles... do you lose access to the games that are removed if you've previously downloaded them?
I'm more interested in PS4 game saves and trophy progress carrying over to PS5. Haven't seen anything on this yet and is the main reason I'm hanging onto my PS3 as opposed to jumping aboard PS Now.

Re: PlayStation Store Is Selling Two PS4 Games for Less Than 20p Each
Also Real Farm... 24p for PS+ subscribers reduced from £34.99 lol
Re: Soapbox: We Need to Talk About Font Sizes in Games
It doesn't help that there's such a variety of screen sizes these days... anything from 21" to 75" so font size options are definitely needed in-game.
I actually prefer smaller fonts, the PS home menu looks a bit childish compared to the original XMB on PS3 (before Sony forced bigger fonts).
Re: Book an Appointment with Two Point Hospital on PS4 in February 2020
@Playstation5 It's up for pre-order on the UK store, so hopefully should be in other regions.
Re: Deal: Sony Paints a New Price on Concrete Genie for Black Friday

@JON22 You could have just copied it to a USB stick?
Re: Wattam Is the Weirdest PS4 Experience You'll Have in the Lead Up to Christmas
15.99 GBP with 15% off for pre-orders.

Re: Skate 4 Hopes in Tatters After EA Leaves Trademark to Expire
I'd settle for a remaster (EA did it for Burnout Paradise).
At least on Xbox One they have Skate 3 on backwards compatibility.

TLOU2, GOT, WD3... all this must have been triggered by the delay of Two Point Hospital lol
Re: PS4 Firmware Update 7.00 Launches This Week
I'm guessing they will update the Android app once the PS4 firmware goes live. Previously only Sony Experia devices (plus a few others?) could use it.

Re: Eden Hazard and Virgil van Dijk Are FIFA 20's Cover Stars
Bizarre press photos... is VVD on the roof of a car park?
First solo LFC cover star (Hendo shared FIFA 16 with Messi) but it's also one of the most boring designs.

What's this about an EA Access Hub... are the games not placed with all others once they're downloaded (I like to organise mine in folders).

Came here to check out the review as it's currently reduced to £2.49 on the UK store.

Have been waiting for Edith Fitch... never dropped below £7.99 according to PS prices.
Re: Guide: PlayStation Now PS4 FAQ - Price, Games, Downloads, Streaming, and How it Works
I agree with Suikoden - I would happily pay the £84.99 annual price (£7.99 a month) if it included PS+.
A question, are family members able to use the PS Now service if signed into my primary PS4?

Re: DriveClub's Urban Tracks Update Bids Fans a Fond Farewell
Shame, I was hoping for a 4K update. Urban tracks look good though.
