You're basically offering a 2nd channel to purchase the digital game... with no benefit vs going direct (unless individual retailers start discounting, which is a possibility). The only other reason is to allow the "physical" release to be gifted, which coming up to Xmas will be quite lucrative. But that wouldn't be necessary if Sony developed gift purchases on the PS store.

I'm fairly sure some of those DLC packs (Speedy Recovery, A Stitch in Time and Culture Shock) were only ever released for PC, so there is new content here for anyone who's only played the PS4 version - even the Jumbo edition.

Some quality of life improvements would be appreciated, mainly the UI. I loved it but it's quite jarring going back after spending a lot of time with Two Point Campus and Two Point Museum.

More info regarding save game transfer and pricing would also be helpful.

Surprised there's no mention of Soccer Kid Collection, which QUByte released yesterday on PS4 & PS5.

It includes the SNES and MS-DOS versions, but strangely not the Amiga original. Hopefully they may add the PS1 version as they've done for the other games above.

Nice to see another game locked in the PS3 era given a new lease of life.

It's been a while, but weren't the Rayman Origins levels all featured in Rayman Legends?... seems odd to re-release/re-master both of them.

If it's a suitable size to act as a carry case for a PSP or PS Vita (or both), then yeah why not.

I know they've committed to providing an offline patch at some point in future, but how much of these add-ons and paid DLC will remain playable when they inevitably pull the plug?

@northern_munkey Ah Zzap64, Crash, Zero, Amiga Power... those indeed were the days. The idea of aggregating review scores was well-intended, but it led to the review bombing culture. Unfortunately someone always find a way to ruin things.

The point that developers are now making creative decisions based on how influencers will react to them?... that sucks. The concept isn't new given some consideration would always have been had towards how the game would be reviewed, but this is taking it to another level, hence the controversy around diversity consultants, SBI etc.

@Bamila How long ago did you you buy it?... it never occured to me to try the in-game option, I just pop in the disc instead. I fired up the PS+ version, and although the upgrade is still presented as an option (11.99 GBP) I get "You can't buy this product right now" 😭

I poured hours into this game, and loved every minute. My only regret is not picking up the digital version before it was delisted.

@datamonkey Wreckfest 2 is currently in Early Access on Steam, and "Coming Soon" on PS5... you can add to your wishlist. I'm hopeful for a 2026 release date.

I picked this up on Xbox but never really got into it. The mechanics were solid but the presentation felt dated... gave early 2010s vibes. Hopefully it's priced sensibly given they're already promoting its sequel.

Imagine buying Q-Games' All You Need Is Help, advertised as 1-4 players with local co-op, only to find that 4 players are mandatory, with no AI opponents or bots to fill the gaps. You have to find other players online OTHERWISE YOU CANT PLAY THE GAME.

Depends on price. With this, and the likes of the recent Super Bomberman collection, I can't help but feel this isn't really what I bought a PS5 Pro for... but nevertheless a nice mid-90s nostalgia trip.

I have the original Cool Boarders on PS1, plus the digital re-release playable on PS3, PSP and PS Vita. Hasn't aged well, and surprised to see it re-released again... would be so much easier if Sony made the PS5 backwards-compatible with the PS3.

Note that the issue remains for certain Ubisoft games, which still differentiate between physical and digital... with separate installations and (annoyingly) separately tracked gameplay time. Fortunately save data is unified.

From memory, this applies to Assassin's Creed Mirage, The Crew Motorfest and Watch Dogs Legion, but not Star Wars Outlaws.

I'll only be impressed by AI when it unlocks 60fps on RDR2 /s

In fact, if AI is so bloody clever, it would let me download and play my PS3 games on my PS5 Pro... better than most of the rubbish on the PS store these days!

Same issue as before... nice wallpapers but partially blocked by the widgets. Yes you can reduce them, but why is it mandatory to have at least three??

Also, why does the 'seasonal' wallpaper still show autumn/fall?... it's Christmas in two weeks!?

Different gameplay mechanics, but the graphics are giving off Brütal Legend vibes (definitely a good thing!)

A game like this is crying out for a decent edit mode, allowing players to recreate real teams (and drivers) throughout the different eras.

Personally The Crew 2 didn't realise hit the mark, but Motorfest is much, much better. Good to know it with remain playable, unlike the first game (still hoping they might do the same for that if the other two offline modes are well received).

Physical pre-orders are priced at 24.99 GBP in the UK which seems quite reasonable.

People need to stop leaning into things. If they're not careful they'll fall over.

This would be awesome... one of my favourite PS3 games. Gutted when it was delisted in 2015 and I missed the chance to buy on Vita.

Nothing wrong with the old cover art, but sure why not. It's really the Astro Bot cover that needs updating from the boring text logo to the key art in the Library.
