January has one or two highlights, but February ā at the time of writing, anyway ā is looking stacked. Let's go through all the great games coming to PS5 and PS4 in the next two months.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction - 20th January
Ubisoft is taking its Rainbow Six series in a new direction with Extraction, a co-op focused experience for up to three players. Your team enters a hazardous zone infested with a dangerous alien goo, and it's your job to get rid of it. With multiple Operators to play, dozens of guns to master, and a constantly changing threat, this will be an intense, strategic experience.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection - 28th January
Nathan Drake and his band of thieves are all making their PS5 debut in this remaster collection. Including Uncharted 4: A Thief's End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, this comprises two of the best games in the series with touched up graphics, enhanced frame rate, and support for the DualSense controller's features. If you've been missing Naughty Dog's action adventures, this seems like a great way to relive them.
Horizon Forbidden West - 18th February
Releasing for both PS5 and PS4, the sequel to Aloy's inaugural adventure is nearly here. This time, a mysterious blight is infecting the planet, and our intrepid heroine must head west to find out what's going on. With new robo-creatures to face, human enemies to thwart, and an all-new open world to explore, this is surely going to be a real crowd-pleasing action RPG. We can't wait.
Elden Ring - 25th February
A new FromSoftware RPG is always a time to celebrate. Elden Ring is on the horizon, and it shakes up the Dark Souls formula with a huge open world map, mounted combat, and many more traversal options. It's going to be a tough game, no question, but no studio makes games quite like these. FromSoft's latest is sure to be filled with incredible boss fights, creepy lore, and countless secrets. Bring it on.

happy new year everyone !!!
I really don't want to use your links. I'd have to be mental to pay those prices. Dont know why you bother. š
Happy new year, fam! That's a very packed first couple of months. Just like Longondo said above, I too have a new year resolution to buy not buy any games until I finish most of my backlog. Got a ton to go!
Itās going to have to be Horizon first followed by Elden Ring. Sifu has been relegated to a footnote which is a shame as that looks like a pretty good game.
HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL.!!!
GREAT GAMES FOR THE NEW YEAR.
HFW definitely for me, day one.
Dying light 2 then HZFW for me both preordered and ready to go in Feb! Donāt think Iāll personally get Elden Ring as I donāt enjoy āhardā melee type games like that even though it looks good.
I love Uncharted but I'm over it at this point. I might pick it up on the cheap down the road but not anytime soon.
Look at all of those PS4 games. lol, next gen was a joke
@velio84 not sure how you missed it up there...it's Feb 18th šš
Will grab the Uncharted upgrade, will probably wait on Horizon. Looking forward to Sifu though, and the rest of my gifted PS cash card will go towards Saint's Row in June. Happy New Year to all!
@velio84 š
Yes it's been delayed until 31st March.
It's not actually been that long since the Xbox release, but it feels like I've been waiting ages for Circuit Superstars.
One notable omission is Mushroom Wars 2, due for release on 13th January. The original PS3 game still gets fired up on a regular basis in our house.
I'm definitely going to pay the upgrade fee to replay the Uncharted games on my PS5. I really am looking forward to Horizon Forbidden West, but I have a few other games I'd like to finish up first. When I do get that game it should last me quite a bit, and will be the only purchase until possibly Forspoken.
Torn on HFW. I really want to play it as I have a PS5, but I own so many games I need to play first. Normally I'd get it to play with my kid but 1 is away at college and the other is all in on Elden Ring.
Black Friday sale it is I guess.
Any word on ps5 cyberpunk?
Its going to be a busy time for me..elden ring is a definate purchase..i would like the uncharted games but i just dont think i'm going to squeeze it in..i have just started assassins creed valhalla and it looks like its going to be a long game and then i've got final fantasy 7 to plough through..can i complete both these before elden ring launches...challenge accepted lol..
Just HFW for me. I'll probably play Elden Ring at some point when there's a deep sale on it.
I only plan on buying Horizon: Forbidden West day one, both Elden Ring and the Uncharted collection can wait until they are heavily discounted...
Just atelier Sophie 2 and tormented souls for me.
Uncharted, Horizon, and Dying Light 2 all on PS5 for me on day 1...
What a year for gaming this is gonna be!
Happy New Year folks ššš®š¹
And this is the month Iām going to pre order Elden Ring š
Happy new year everyone!
I'm tempted to pre-order Elden Ring even though I rarely pre-order anything and I don't particularly like incredibly difficult games. There's just something about that black cardboard sleeve from the launch edition...
Uncharted upgrade option for me, I hope (as I've never played Lost Legacy), then Horizon.
Which is going to be the first game to get a delay this year?
Horizon Forbidden West and Ragnarok!!
Not buying anything in January. It gets expensive after that.
Feb: Horizon/Elden Ring
March: Stranger paradise/AC: Dawn of Ragnorok
April: Hardware (hopefully)
May: Forspoken
And I need to keep the SteamDeck cash in hand for April - 2022 gaming budget basically out the window already.
Assetto Corsa Competizione PS5 update, then GT7 (in March)... Maybe the Uncharted remaster, but only if I can upgrade from my purchased PS4 version for free or nominal fee... Elden Ring will get a look, I really liked Demon's Souls, but these games aren't typically my wheelhouse... I've yet to even complete Horizon ZD from PS+š¬š¬š¬
