@The_Pixel_King Yeah I hear you loud and clear mate. The worst example by far was Alba: A Wildlife Adventure... the collection tile was a very low res cropped graphic, nothing like the library tile. I tweeted the Devs and eventually (months later) it was rectified. It's nothing new though, even some PS4 games had abstract or logo based tiles, compared to the full game art on the Xbox, eg. Watch Dogs 1-3.

Back on topic, I received a very random questionnaire from Sony two weeks ago, asking what I liked best about my PS4(?!). I listed the features that the PS5 doesn't have, and the ability to update from the library was obviously one of them. I'm sure it was a coincidence, but maybe they listened!...

The free Blue Hour expansion DLC was released in June, but still no sign of a native PS5 release. Has that been dropped?

Intrigued to see what FIFA do next. Presumably try to sell the license to another game studio who would love to develop and publish FIFA 25. If I was Konami, I know what I'd do...

Unpopular opinion, but PES/eFootball still has better on-field gameplay, but I accept that everything else is now garbage.

@N1ghtW1ng It was a great game. Gutted I didn't buy the digital version before it was delisted... I think in it's final sale it was only £7.99. I did get the Bikes DLC though.

Hogwarts Legacy is starting to get discounted which would explain this... under £40 in a few places like Smyths Toys which probably makes up a good chunk of physical sales these days.

Great idea... I enjoyed the beta. The problem with these trials though, is despite retaining your progress, they often cause trophy issues, ie. they're not awarded in the trial but the trigger point is missed when you upgrade to the full game. Usually you have to start over, which kinda defeats the point.

The pricing makes no sense, especially if it's a straight port. The PS3 version was regularly available for under £10. Also, Rockstar ported GTA V from PS4 to PS5 (including lots of improvements) and offered an introductory price, again under £10.

I was interested until I saw the price... £34.99 is a bit steep for an arcade football game. Also £54.99 for the Ultimate Edition 😲

"still several years away"... modern development cycles blow my mind. The first three Skate games were all released on PS3 within a three year window (admittedly using the same engine).

Check out the NFL mod on YouTube. Hopefully there's an easy way to implement that on the PS5 version, PES style

I'd say the boxart is better than the trailer in places. Check out Diogo Jota in squad photo at 01:15 (Liverpool #20)... he looks like completely different person. Is he even meant to be Jota??

If PixelJunk fancy porting games to PS4/PS5, I'd much prefer the original PixelJunk Monsters. Deluxe, Encore, Ultimate HD... I really don't mind!

Meh... I'm more interested in Maximum Football, hopefully launching later this year. A lack of competition is clearly evident in Madden games over the past 15 years.

Speaking of which, isn't EA's exclusivity deal with the NFL coming to an end soon, or did they extend?

Just started getting it playing Uncharted on PS5 (downloaded via PS+ Game Catalogue).

@Pacmatic Basically anyone who played the PS4 version (pre-F2P) cannot earn trophies in the PS5 game without switching to a different Epic account. The devs acknowledged the issue but it's still unresolved over a year later.

But I agree, it's a great game.

Hopefully it will also fix the PS5 trophies which have been broken since launch.

Also, many players on PS5 and PS4 have been experiencing constant connection errors, meaning the leaderboards, season rewards, events, tournaments and in-game store are all unavailable. Devs have been working on a fix for over a month.

GT3 A-Spec was my personal favourite of the PS2-era, especially with its awesome soundtrack.

The LEGO Speed Champions expansion for Forza Horizon 4 was great fun!

@BowTiesAreCool I would love this. eFootball had an incredibly rough (and largely unnecessary) transition from PES but with ongoing updates it actually plays really well, much better than FIFA. The trouble is it's massively lacking in content... still no master league, edit mode, limited teams etc.

I'd been using this on the beta firmware, but there is one slightly annoying (but rare) side effect. If you have a physical version of the game and have also previously downloaded a demo of the same game, it's the demo that now shows up in your library/home screen, without the disc icon. So instead of asking for the disc to be inserted when you click it, it just loads up the demo instead.

It's all part of the plan. Building up to v5.0 which will release in 2027 and allow you to hide the SingStar icon 😂

Great game, a shame they never fixed the save data incompatibility between physical and digital editions. I'm tempted to play through again as the PS4 Pro patch upped the resolution nicely.

I'm liking the look of this. As a old fan of the SimCity games, I thought I'd enjoy Cities Skylines but I eventually game up as I found the water/electricity connections too fiddly and frustrating.

This seems to lean towards the Railway Empire style of gameplay, which is definitely a good thing.

I wanted to love this game, but I don't quite "get it"... despite playing through to the credits. I enjoyed the experience, but maybe I just prefer the simplicity of Journey.

Let's hope they implement DualSense functionality... haptic triggers would be perfect for this.

@C9906753 Same problem here... would be great to get a proper answer on this. Sony have always said those who purchased the original 'classics' can download free of charge. Has been working fine for everything else.

@belmont I have the same problem but with Pinball Heroes. Abe's Exoddus is free to download, but Pinball Heroes is £7.99, even though I own the original on PSP and the Complete Edition on PS Vita.

Looking forward to this, and didn't realise it was F2P.

Reminds me of cleaning windows in House Flipper... very satisfying. On the flip side, I found Lawn Mowing Simulator incredibly boring.

Such a shame, especially as this looks like a return to form, and closer to the graphical style of the PS3 games that most people preferred.

Fascinating to see so many F2P kart racers suddenly appearing. Hopefully one of them will be decent!

Fun game. Bought on release but still not completed it. At least when I do, the expansion will be waiting for me.

Nice to see ongoing support and new content, but a PS5 performance patch (or even a native version) but also be welcome.

Surprised, but pleased not be shelling out £50. We all know this is how many franchises will go eventually... especially the sports titles which are ideally suited to the live service model and a DLC subscription to update teams, kits, liveries each year. At least EA can drop the BS story modes.

This is great news. Hopefully (but I doubt it) they'll also address the issue that prevents save data being shared between disc and digital versions.

Anyway, it's a cracking game. For me, nothing has beaten it on the PS5 in terms of pure enjoyment.

I spotted this as a pre-order on gamecollection.net last week. Good news about the free upgrade, hopefully there will be a save transfer facility... not sure I'm ready to start again from scratch.
