The Crew Motorfest is an open world racer that doesn't always get the recognition it deserves, but we reckon its new RC Frenzy update is well worth a look.
As the name suggests, the game's newest premium event introduces a handful of RC cars, with unique handling and features that make them stand out from the regular vehicles in Ubisoft's racer.
Available via the Year 3 Pass or as standalone DLC, you're able to drive these miniature motors around the open world, or you can play through the RC Frenzy playlist to unlock more stuff and enjoy some unique events.
RC cars in Motorfest are able to jump, can drive over water, and have much more arcade-like handling. On top of that, the default camera gives you a bird's eye view of the action, which leans into that feel of playing with toys.
If you prefer, you can set the camera to a regular chase viewpoint as well.
It's this sort of stuff we like to see in DLC or seasonal updates — something a bit out of the ordinary, and experimenting with fun ideas.
In fairness, Ubisoft and its studios have typically been excellent at post-launch support, and Ivory Tower has been quietly keeping Motorfest ticking with stuff like this.
