Say what you will about French publisher Ubisoft, it knows how to keep a game alive.
The company still supports ancient games like For Honor and Rainbow Six Siege today, and it’s not given up on its squad-based shooter The Division 2 either.
That ongoing support has been marked by the release of a new major expansion pack, Battle for Brooklyn, where the titular New York borough has been occupied by a pyromaniac clan known as the Cleaners.
Obviously, you’ll be tasked with, er, cleaning up the Cleaners across two new zones, with a massively expanded slate of gear and skills. The DLC actually comes with a 40 level booster, so if you want to skip through the original campaign to get to the new content, you can do so if you want to.
It’s impressive to see a game that originally released all the way back in 2019 get updated like this, but the release remains relatively popular even today, so we’re sure the support will draw back plenty of players.
Are you still a fan of The Division 2? Are you planning to play the Battle for Brooklyn expansion? Grab a bagel and let us know in the comments section below.

I know its got a 60fps update on PS5 but i wish Ubi would do a native PS5 version.
This is a really great game, highly recommend. My favorite Ubisoft game since Assassin's Creed 2
Gosh been a few years since I booted this one up, fair play for £12.99
I was tempted when scrolling my library to see how it performs on a Pro. And just fall into the loot-goblin trap...
Does anyone know why it received a native Series X version, but not PS5?
@Topov81 The Series is upgrade is same upgrade PS5 got and that's 60fps.
@Topov81 Microsoft don’t use the same strict classifications as Sony.
Also, I did very much enjoy the Division 2 but I never seriously played it after the campaign. I was constantly thinking about playing it more but always felt I missed the boat. Didn’t even play the last expansion yet.
Division 2 base game did live service and looter shooter genre very well. Expansion hurt the game, but they've been adding stuff through out the years. Gotta be respected. Played a little of the expansion yesterday, not bad for 15 bucks.
Still playing other games but this game has permanent stay on my ps5 ssd, I'll check this if its a good expansion
I hope ubisoft make the division 3 or maybe zombie game with the division 2 gameplay, just like the day before but not a scam game lol.
I tried the second but the gameplay just feels boring like the first game, I'm glad I got it for less than $5.
Division 2 is one of my favorite games ever! I downloaded it again a few days ago and was surprised yesterday morning when it popped that an update had been installed. Didn’t even realize it’s still being updated.wish they’d made a proper PS5 version though.
I played 2nd game a bit but I liked 1st one's atmosphere much more. Those winter New York streets with piled up garbages was something else.
It's crazy how a really good game still gets good updates and is still being supported. I mean really..wow..
My favourite game of all time. Sunk more than 1000 hours into it over the last 7 years.
One of my all time favourite games. The raids are fun as hell when you have an active clan on discord. Getting new players onboard with the mechanics and seeing how happy they are getting the badass loot drop for en is so fun. put thousands of hours in it.
