D-Dog is undoubtedly the most usefull for nearly every situation.
Quiet is good for combat and when youre just about to be spotted but DD is top notch for everything from distraction to stealth kills to high profile kills.
I often order him to kill an enemy as I take down the enemy with him.

As far as I know it takes very specific actions to unlock and Konami reached out and asked no guides like Prima to publish how to get it.

@chiptoon Not to mention if an AI driver hits you, YOU get the collision penalty, seems legit.

I wanted to enjoy it, but with no career mode, it just feels like you literally just choose race after race for no reason.

Just an FYI, those optional objectives arent displayed in the mission goals until completed.
So its often not as simple as just doing them.
They cone up as ??? to begin with.

I think Im not too far from the truth by saying that open world gameplay is what many fans have been asking for.
I cant count the times Ive thought, "if I could only get over that fence or through that building".

@BigDaddyT0101 CoD is a strange one.
On the one hand, these ideas are freah to the series, and change the gameplay which some find negative.
On the other hand keeping the same tried and true formula is easy but some find negative.
CoD is the only game series Ive ever known to be wrong whatever direction it takes!

Not really that impressive considering there have been only a handfull of betas on the PS4 to date.
I didnt bother with it, but will likely get this once the price goes down, I enjoyed Black Ops 2.
But its a hard choice over Fallout, so itll come second to that and so on, at least for me.

Im genuinely surprised they arent charging for it.

Personally Id prefer a fade to black.
Then again this game doesnt interest me in the slightest, not my thing at all.
The only reason its gory with guts and stuff is to shock, which was terrible in the saw films and I dont feel its that shocking.

That said, censorship to take out specific gameplay that the game relies on for narrative is a poor decision.

It would be a better course of action to just not sell the product at all.

Or a DmC style action slasher, not bothered if its Indy or not.
Like @Shellcore said though there are a LOT of 8/16 bit style side scroller types.
Id argue they are a bit too common now on plus.

I do laugh when some folk say they "dont like Indy games".
Im guessing they didnt like DmC or Minecraft then 😂.

And when someone then says why they dont enjoy certain games or genres, and give a valid reason some people feel it neccessary to bring them down like its not ok to dislike something.

Lets all just agree that all games have a place regardless of personal tastes and none are exempt from criticisms as ling as its actually constructive, not "its trash because its trash".

@adf86 I wont dismiss an Indy for being an Indy, but I absolutely have to like the look of something before I play it or I wont enjoy it at all, I have to already have an interest.

To put this in perspective:
I wasnt remotely interested in CoD AW so I didnt try it.
I was interested in The Witcher 3 and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I didnt have any interest in Rocket League at all but tried it anyway on the basis of it being something different, and I just didnt find any enjoyment in it at all.
I flat out do NOT enjoy pixel art games, I dont like how they look, regardless of dev cost.
Same goes with side scrollers, they dont interest me anymore, they havent for about 20 years.

As a point of fact, Im yet to play a game I dont have an initial interest in and enjoy it.
If Im not captured in the previews and so on then Im not giving it my time as I will not enjoy it.
That applies to any game, Indy or not.

Thata a £20 difference, but I guess if you dont have the money straight off the bat it makes sense, but maybe saving and waiting is ultimately better.

Im tired of it myself, but I find, as has been the case the last 4-5 times Ive commented, positively or not, that some can sit here going on about others being "a moaner" or "complainer" and thats absolutely okay to do but, as is made clear here, its not okay to point it out.

To say it didnt live up to the price tag, I strongly disagree.
I played the likes of Merc Kings and Rocket League, and I could easily argue they were certainly not worth the prices they were commanding.
I paid £49.99 for W3 and have played it, without once repeating a quest, for 200+ hours.
Thats 24p per hour of game time roughly.
Id say that is WELL worth its price tag.

On topic: if they take into account those that download new releases such as Batman etc then I see no reason to not include digital only.

I suppose youll always get the odd do gooder that slams you for not buying a digital only release especially if its an Indy, and those on the other side who wont touch them BECAUSE theyre digital only, so Im not sure how accurate ot could be.

By that reasoning, as Im applying the thought process some have regarding the IGC, these are free, therefore you absolutely must be happy with, and like them.

Personally, I dont ask or expect anything for my birthday, so these arent a concern for me, nice gesture all the same.

If you only own a single console you dont get access to 72, you get access to around 24, which still costs you more than what EA access does, when it may be comparable offer wise.

Im not saying its better, and I agree with the sentiment that Plus isnt just a game subscription service.

Id be interested to see how he cane uo with that demographic.

Did they survey every video gamer to get it?
Did they base it on whether a person is connected to the internet?
Did they assume more time spent in meant the single player was in part ignored?
Ive spent more time in TLOU MP than SP but I still absolutely love the story.

I love the idea of building a small settlement.
My favourite DLC for Skyrim was Hearthfire.

It could have a budget of a billion quid, I still do not enjoy them.
I have seen footage of all three and they just do not interest me at all.

Missed it on the PS3, and absolutely loving it.

Genre is the only real way to get the most accurate results in my opinion, because realistically, if your best game of all time isnt in the final list you wouldnt/shouldnt vote, as it makes the final game a false winner, and not everyones best game will be in the same genre.

This then means that out of say, 3 genres, you pick your favourite in each, and if one of yours gets knocked out of one, voting on the other two doesnt affect the results of the genre your game was relegated from.

What does this mean?
If it means all content is included then very few games are released as a "full release".

There is very little difference with this approach than what was done with the Witcher.
You get the full game, but its episodic and "dlc" as long as released for free is just expanding upon those episodes.

Its not an MMO, there is no requirement to be be connected to a server to play a game that has no mechanics for massively multiplayer online play.
If the PSN is down, and MP on GTAV doesnt work, I play single player, oh but wait! Thats on me right?

I only view this site on my iPhone and it doesnt display the "latest topics" or "hottest" or whatever it is, in a side list.
Personally I think it should be genre based next time, comparing a turn based strategy to a racing sim seems a bit moot.

For me this isnt even top 50.
MGS and Ocarina of Time are very good shouts.
As is TLoU.
Cant help but feel theres some missed titles in that list though.
Assassins Creed 2, Red Dead Redemption, Red Faction, StarFox, Metroid, Halo, these games all bought something new to the table and changed the way we play.

I an stoked for this, but was hoping for more of a one on ten combat style.
But it could change and improve.

@Splat I am the exact opposite.
In fact, playing as a female in RPGs actually detracts from the enjoyment.
I enjoy Tomb Raider and the like, but in a game designed around associating with the character, such as in RPGs, I will always choose a male.
Just my preference.
Which is probably why I have little interest in this game.

Definitely a response to criticisms Id wager.
Whether justified criticism or not, this screams of people trying out the plus model, for 1-3 months and being underwhelmed so dont want to continue.
Making the yearly sub more desirable.

That said, I play online regularly which is really the only reason I even invested in plus to begin with.
For me, there would be very little reason to do so without the MP paywall.
