Super Meat Boy PS4 PlayStation 4 1

Super Meat Boy will stick like glue to the PlayStation 4 and Vita next month, after developer Team Meat once hinted that the title would never arrive on Sony hardware. Contractual issues famously prevented the legendary platformer from testing your patience on the PlayStation 3, but you'll finally be able to get your teeth stuck in to the meaty release from 6th October according to a product page.

When it was announced for the PS4 and Vita earlier in the year, the developer confirmed that the cross-buy title will be given away as a PlayStation Plus freebie, and the aforementioned date certainly tallies with when we expect the Instant Game Collection to update. The question is: will you be happy to receive this release without charge, or is the abundance of indie outings on the service starting to wear you out?
