@Nepp67 Fairs, mine is physically fine, it's just USB that's the issue. Also forgot that it kept cutting out for no reason (despite being fully charged) so my mate had to get an extender for it.

@Nepp67 I think quality is good, but it's a pain having them take up a USB slot, and not be able to use them for a session because they apparently need to be updated.

@ATaco Agreed, as long it's still fun to play I'm happy. If a game constantly needs new content to keep it engaging, it suggests that the gameplay isn't enough of a draw.

The timing of this could not be better, I am all for revitalising the Nintendo-Sega rivalry. Nintendo could use a kick up the ass.

Nice to see Fatal Frame, hopefully this can lead to getting a brand new game for PS.

Kind of funny you say this, because this has been a very safe generation in terms of new IP from Sony's first party (owned by Sony) studios. Not to say there has been nothing new, but this really feels like we're still in the PS4 generation.

And I get not every series can realistically go on forever, but it can't be too hard to at least revisit old series once in a while.

@ErrantRob Unfortunately I didn't play the demo, so I can't really compare. All I can say is that feels quite Doom like.

Got Metal Eden, so far it's really fun. Basically feels like a fusion of Ghostrunner and Doom, but it's very enjoyable even if it's apparently very short.

Fixed now, but it wouldn't let me play a single player game I had just download because it said it couldn't verify the license. What a god awful system, Sony seriously needs to sort it because that should absolutely not be happening.

Hollow Knight has been on my to play list for years, but have just never gotten round to it.

I'd give a kidney to hear "We Lost" live.

Can games please stop releasing in October, there is already way too much coming out that I want to play.

I never played the original because of the mixed reviews, but if this turns out well I'm definitely interested.

@JohntheRaptor I'm with you. The game has so much going for it and I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately it wasn't very fun for me.

@RoomWithaMoose It's never been ultra serious even with the very dark tone of World at War, but these new games are a whole nother level.

@RoomWithaMoose COD is silly largely because of these ridiculous MP skins. It's never been a simulation game, but the PS3 COD games are vastly different.

@Lowdefal That's understandable. Which is another reason it's a shame that Sony/Playstation isn't a Japanese business anymore.

@Nepp67There's a lot more to being a soulslike than simply being hard. It's largely about game structure, and level design, as well as the lock on combat system. I can't really think of how Ghostrunner is remotely comparable other than being hard. That being said, it needs to be seen exactly how this new game is supposedly a soulslike.

Alternate history Napoleon invasion of Russia, made by the Ghostrunner Devs definitely has my attention. Bit skeptical that it's a soulslike though.

@Zeroo From my list alone from September onwards: Metal Eden, Cronos: The New Dawn, Hirogami, Silent Hill f, Sonic Racing Crosswords, Dreams of Another, Little Nightmares III, Once Upon a Katamari.

For the record, a game isn't worth glossing over because it's not a 10/10. 7s and especially 8s are still worth if they interest you.

And for me Silent Hill f is definitely a must play.

This year is packed, so this is a relief.

It's amazing that it's going as well as it is, for a company that's built up any good will and loyalty is has primarily from single player games with no live service elements.

I must be out of the loop because I didn't realise this got delayed. It looks cool, but it's coming out at a completely stacked time for me. We got Sword of the Sea, Lost Soul Aside, Hirogami, and Cronos: The New Dawn all coming out within 2 weeks either side of it. There are way too many games coming out all at once, and it's a severe first world problem.

I'm cautiously optimistic (because Konami) but 5 years ago I wouldn't have believed this was happening. I'm rarely this hyped for a game, this seems so promising.

@Flaming_Kaiser The only reason I got Black Ops 6, is because friends got me to buy it. In fairness, it is pretty good for a social game, and that probably contributes to a lot of their sales. Still, I was very insistent on waiting until it was on sale. I have no plans to buy another anytime soon, because we are well past the point of newer games being as good as the old.

@MrPeanutbutterz Or I delete COD and refuse to buy the next one because they take up too much space, and I can use that space to install games that aren't from a scummy publisher.

@MrPeanutbutterz No because they clearly don't know what they're doing in regards to game launchers on a console of all things, and how ridiculously large their games are.

Not to mention the scumbags require you to have 2 PS Plus accounts to play SPLITSCREEN. So yes they are incompetent for messing up things that were perfected years ago.

Wonder how many days from launch it will take for it to be playable.

There must be a conspiracy to convince players to give up on physical all together, there's no way that publishers can be this incompetent.

It sounds interesting and better in some ways, but I still have absolutely interest to play the game again.
