@GirlVersusGame Snap, for the most part it is absolutely my type of game. But I can't support companies giving out blank discs.

Was going to a preorder, but them forgetting to put the game on the disc has made me decide they don't deserve my money, so I'll get it used. Looks great though.

When they say producing PS5s in the USA, is that an additional factory in the USA, or will that involve giving up on global factories elsewhere

If that latter, that's a slimy move.

Too early to say how good the game will be, but honestly the worst thing so far is the title. It's really cringey.

Yeah, because publishers seem to be doing everything they can do make physical copies as worthless as possible.

The game looks great, but this is a massive turn off from me getting it.

I have zero interest in GTA, but power to the people that do.

What are the odds it will be broken and full of bugs.

Bet game devs who are releasing a game this year are jumping with joy, and those releasing a game next year are snapped.

That's such a Sony thing to do, realising they haven't made a LBP/Sackboy game in a while, so remove Sackboy from the opening instead of giving us new content.

I don't disagree entirely, but it's ironic that the ex boss of Sony is calling out another brand for losing it's identity.

It's a weird day when physical media isn't screwed over and digital media is.

Isn't that the second price increase this generation? Weird how USA isn't listed, I wonder if they're getting an even worse increase. Also strange that the disc drives consoles aren't affected in Europe.

It looks like it good be interesting, so I'll keep an eye on it. It can't sell any less than Concord.

That sucks, Rime was a really good game.

They actually put Ellie on the cover twice instead of having Joel.

It's ridiculous how many awards Astro Bot is getting, but I am all for it.

Hopefully this isn't gonna be another Concord or Anthem.

@nomither6 Didn't play lots of the MP, but the only only problem I really had was quick matches and long wait times. Other than that it offers way more than MK8 in terms of single player content.

@species I think Crash Team Racing easily matches it. If anything I'd say it's better.

Until Switch 2 undercuts the price of PS5 games, we're gonna have to wait and see.

Still yet to play Atomfall, but glad it's popular.

Unbelievably happy that this is still happening. The J-horror vibe is awesome, and the good reviews of Silent Hill 2's remake, and the creator for this game's previous work make it look promising.

Bit concerned there's no release window after 2.5 years, but I'm excited regardless. Hope it turns out well.

Don't know what to think. I reckon it looks fun to watch, but not a fan of the art style.

Great bundle. If it was released before xmas last year and came with the special controller, it would have been perfect.

Amazed previews are this early. Glad to hear it's good though.

Still sad, Japan Studio's games were legendary and really unique. Bad marketing didn't help either.

@UltimateOtaku91 May alone is looking stacked, there literally isn't enough time to get everything on release date.

I thought that was solid, particularly Tides of Annihilation, Darwin's Paradox and a damn Lost Soul Aside release date.

Nice that we actually got a new first party game as well.

@get2sammyb It's kind of worrying/frustrating because it just seems like Sony is barely making any 1st party games this gen. At least there was tons of good first party stuff.

@themightyant I agree it was pretty solid. Wasn't exactly blown away (as per), but that was quite a bit of stuff shown that interested me. Particularly Tides of Annihilation, Stellar Blade DLC, Darwin's Paradox, and finally a release date for Lost Soul Aside.

Sweet Jesus, it's actually happening. Lost Soul Aside is actually coming out.

Probably the highlight of the show for me, I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Pretty depressing that it's not even a physical copy of the game.

Some seemed fairly logical, but I'm pleased considering I started the series fairly late, have only played any of the games once, and haven't really played any spin offs.

Console gaming is gonna get really bad when we are purely limited to the PS Store.

Didn't even know there was a collector's edition, it looks cool. I hope the game is good, it seems really promising.

@MrPeanutbutterz Those are all absolutely fair points. My favourite Platinum is CODWAW, because it was very challenging but straight forward and really rewarding. Astro Bot is also great for this.
And 100%, MP and trophies don't go well together, unless MP trophies aren't required for a Platinum.

@MrPeanutbutterz Thing about boring trophies is that you can ignore them if you're not going for the platinum. In any game you choose how many trophies you want to go for, and what game you want to Platinum. If a trophy list is fun enough, then I'll try, if it looks tedious then I'll just play the main game and maybe get some trophies along the way. Either way, having a game isn't necessarily worse off for having boring trophies. I completely some trophy lists need to be revamped, but that doesn't mean trophies are inherently a bad idea.

@AK4tywill I'm pretty disappointed that they didn't remake the game along with the original.

@MrPeanutbutterz Gotta disagree. Trophies can provide great replay value and some fun challenges to games. And of course they completely optional. Also provide a consolidated list of all the games you've played.

The problem I have is that this quote makes it sound like Playstation is some charity, and buy remasters solely to allegedly fund new games that are not guaranteed, instead of buying a game based on it's merits. If an individual wants to buy a remaster fair enough, but any notion we're obligated to is silly.

Absolutely not. I've got to have a very good reason to buy a game I already have. Any idea that we're obligated to buy remasters that they're essential is laughable. I prefer playing the original versions anyway.

Make new games, and I'll buy them. I love Yoshida, but this isn't a good take.

Sucks to here, but he definitely deserves a good rest. Did an amazing job for Playstation, he will be sorely missed.
