Ghost of Yotei Gets Yet Another Trailer, This Time Showcasing PS5 Features

With all these trailers doesn't look like they will show it at all at the rumored state of play.

The first game was beautiful but with the usual oh so repetitive open world game design, especially if you wanted to fully complete it. I want to see if they have actually fixed this before pre-ordering

I cannot wait for my Collector's Edition to arrive. So looking forward to this! 😊

Only thing is though, I hope they have not done the adaptive triggers the same as it was in Horizon or The Last of Us (I forget which), because having to pull the trigger to a certain point is annoying. If it is, I hope you can turn it off...

Maybe it’s just me, but the over saturation of this game has actually dampened my hype. I feel as if I’ve seen more of this game than the games I’ve played at this point.

Im still not sold on this one.

Don't get me wrong, Im sure performance/optimisation will be excellent as its Sony 1st party, but I was never the greatest fan of the original.

I have just not seen anything to truly exite me in this game yet, and the main character just does not seem interesting. Hopefully its just me, and Im wrong.

Im sure it will sell very well though.

Not sure there’s quite enough trailers/gameplay videos, perhaps another four just to be on the safe side.

I know its a sequel but it looks just too similar to the first one for me to be THAT excited about it. Combat looks the same, duelling rings look the same, wind blowing the same. I might just wait a bit on this one.

Bring in more trailers, I will welcome it!. Already preordered this with my hype level in a critical mass, but always love to see more of it till the release date.

Probably going to be my game of the year. All of the trailers showing off the new weapons make sense because they will make the combat look different.

Personally I don't see where all hate or disinterest that people have for this game is coming from. If it's a better improved version of Ghost of Tsushima that has better combat, story and mission's/mechanics that's a huge win. Also I assume it will do very well for Sucker Punch and their next game might be another Ghost game or something new.

I don't think Sony going mad with the marketing. Only 10 more days until the game release so of course the marketing is on maximum level. Sony would be stupid if they didn't market their biggest title of this year.

complain, complain, complain ... . Why watch a trailer if You are already sold on the game ?

Have they released details re graphics modes yet? Is there the usual performance/fidelity (60/30fps) modes?

I have ordered this already, can't wait to play it. I will fire it up as soon as the countdown ends!

Marketing sure is strange for this game. Six months ago we haven't seen a second of gameplay footage and now it's a trailer every day.

The more we see now, the less likely it’ll show up in the rumoured SoP. Which is good, makes room for more games. Still looks great btw, excited to see what this game has in store for us

So hyped for this. The only right way to play it though is at 30fps with some film like filters to make it truly cinematic. The fast frame rate kills the vibe. I'll keep 60fps for the multiplayer.

This game reminds of assassin creed shadows and not in a good way

@Nepp67 I think quality is good, but it's a pain having them take up a USB slot, and not be able to use them for a session because they apparently need to be updated.

Chose to actually not watch any trailers for this since the first one and it's really not that difficult, I can assure you, just in case you feel like there's too many.

@ThroughTheIris56 The sound quality is decent, but the headband that is used to connect the earphones is terrible. Like the moment I started using it the black plastic piece already started disconnecting from the white piece of the headband and then several months later the white plastic part bent completely.

@Nepp67 Fairs, mine is physically fine, it's just USB that's the issue. Also forgot that it kept cutting out for no reason (despite being fully charged) so my mate had to get an extender for it.

@ThroughTheIris56 I can see the USB being an annoying issue, but I thought it was fine. You are right though the headset audio would cut out at times and I thought that was an issue exclusive to my Astro A50s but so far it just seems to be an issue with the ps5 in general since it never cuts out on my PC.

@Kraven I mean, you don't have to watch any of it, I watched the first direct back in June, haven't watched anything else since, I'm going in pretty blind

@Yusuo You’re right. I just think they are leaning too heavily in the numerous of trailers. I mean, I appreciate the marketing and building hype, but sometimes too much can be a bad thing.

I will wait for reviews to see if they fixed the open world repetitiveness and added some unique new features beyond new weapons to set this apart from a GOT part 2. Also curious about the 30/60fps modes, as the creative directors refused to answer during a dev interview and just said they will "talk more about it later". I feel like just over a week out from launch is late enough.

Nothing hype in these trailers unfortunately. The map looks almost exactly like Tsushima. Each trailer is empty areas with bunch of dumb enemies.

This will probably be a good enough game, like the first one was. But me personally, I'm not interested at all. I don't see why I should be interested, it's basically the same big empty open-world with the same revenge story.
Sucker Punch, they can make good and solid games, but they aren't into anything groundbreaking or unexpected.

Day one for me, Sucker Punch are incredible so I am completely convinced in the quality of the game.

My only niggle is that so much of the footage shown is action packed (extremely so) and I loved the stealth of the first game.

Day one. Have had it pre-ordered for months now!
