Money is a big incentive. If Sony throw enough money at them I'm sure their plans will change. I've heard nothing but praise about Astro. I love it. My daughter loves it. The internet loves it. Why wouldn't you make a sequel or DLC.

I wonder if they will stop the DualSense from working.

@themightyant Yeah I had a folder on my PS4 of games I was waiting to play on PS5 in BC mode. Purely because my PS4 is a jet engine when I tried to play them. God of War, The Last of Us 2, RDR2 to name a few.

I'll have me some of that Stability.

Gotta wonder if this has something to do with the transfer of data between the two consoles.

He obviously hasn't seen my PS4 HDD stats then. Upgraded internal to 2TB which is full. Also added an external 2TB which is 90% full. I was planning on taking that over the the PS5 pending a fix for the external access.

I've been playing it on PS4 and haven't had any issues with it. Some games I do well, some games, not so well.

I'm having a lot of fun playing it. I like all the maps. Overall, no complaints from me to be honest.

Now to wait for the real world tests of what its fixed/broken

I feel excited for the launch of the console but at the same time left out because although its launched, we can't fully celebrate until we get the consoles in our hands next week.

Hopefully fixes will be quick and rolled out before the European launch. I can hold off plugging in my External until a fix has been issued.

Can you delete the campaign? I'll likely play through it once and then stick to the MP.

Just fired it up on the PS4, you can click R3 from the menu to manage content. You can uninstall the Campaign.

Can you sort your games list by playtime?

Did this earlier, anyone else noticed half the PS5 games have disappeared from the PS5 category?

@God_of_Nowt Thanks! Yeah I'm going to boot up my PS5 and it's probably going to attempt to download 200gig of games at the same time. I'd rather not have to manually manage the downloads by pausing and unpausing them. I'd rather it prioritized a list and did them 1 at a time.

Is that option available if you don't need to format your external? The article reads like its only available if you are formatting a new drive.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to copy my daughters local save files to a USB stick. She is 5 years old and too young for PSN account. I was unable to back up her saves.

I've ended up creating her a PSN profile, and limited just about everything I can on there. She will have to start all over again with her trophies and save games, but at least they can be backed up now.

Nice tip, I imagine a swap/shadow file used for the continuous capture will eat up a significant amount of space.

Can you limit the number of concurrent downloads? i.e. only download 1 thing at a time, unlike the PS4 trying to download 4x80 gig games at once.

@StonyKL ha! My actually broke my F5 key I think. The RGB lighting on the key is dimmer than the rest now.

Secured mine from Amazon within 20 seconds of them going live.

If mine doesn't arrive next Thursday I will be mighty disappointed.

@God_of_Nowt I don't suppose you've tested if Sackboy can be played with a PS4 controller on the PS5?

I can't justify buying a third DualSense controller so my wife can join in with my daughter and myself.

I'll be recording and editing on PC. Though I will give share factory a try no doubt. I returned my Elgato 4K60 a few months ago and have been holding off getting another one, waiting to see what the PS5 was capable of doing.

@God_of_Nowt Can you shed any light on the Create button? No one seems to of covered it.

Can you record 4K60 HDR? Can you export files to an External HDD? How long can you record for? etc

@God_of_Nowt Yeah being all digital with no physical games on launch for me this time around. I guess I'll have to play Astrobot or play some of my PS4 games off my external for a bit.

Anyone feeling all these sales are a trap? Buy these PS4 games cheap only to find they don't work on PS5 properly.

@AJDarkstar Beat you to it my PS4 2TB drive is already full. It would be such a ball ache to upgrade to a 4TB drive and copy everything off the 2TB onto the 4TB wouldnt it.

Can you use more than 1 external HDD?
Can you set a download limit so it only downloads 1 thing at a time?
Can you capture 4K 60 FPS?

Ah nice, so now people will get games and accessories early. Then when they realise they didn't get a preorder in time they will be stuck with some games and accessories they can't use.
