Did the PS5 UI Reveal Just Get Teased by Burger King?

This is the most confusing thing I've seen Burger King do since the Whoppurito.

I'm guessing it's a promotional deal for winning PS5's like with the Doritios promotion. Unless Sony goes full on Idiocracy and has ads all over the PS5, I doubt Burger King has anything to do with the UI.

Hope it is a win a PS5! I won a ps4 from taco bell 🌮 in 2013. Burger King sounds much better. Hopefully it will be just a drink like Taco bells current XBox series X current promotion.

If this is anything to do with the UI, then PlayStation marketing has officially lost the plot. Surely it’s as simple as everyone has already said, just a promotion to win a PS5?

Everything seems like it's a "Win a PS5" promotional ad. But the date at the end throws me off. They wouldn't tease a simple promotional ad like that with a anouncement trailer just 2 days before it starts, right?

Maybe it's a new sandwich which looks like a PS5 console laid horizontal xD!

If there's anything I've learned in the past few months it's that I shouldn't actually want to spend money on new consoles at all, I should cancel my pre-orders and spend everything on fast food, MSG snacks, and energy drinks!

It is likely just a promo competition for the US similar to the Doritos competition in Europe, but I guess that wouldn't get anywhere near the amount of clicks as this current headline does.

If it was just a competition then it would seem a bit weird to have a countdown when so many other places are doing “win a PS5” promotions. So I think it’s a bit more than that, but what exactly? Who knows, not going to get drawn into getting excited! Either way we’ll see the UI soon enough.

As other people have said, this is almost certainly the date a promotion starts to win a PS5 with every meal or something.

Honestly? The date? I'd assume it is hinting at something, and given it's a Thursday... well the UI reveal actually seems like a legitimate possibility. I doubt Burger King will be doing the reveal, but a sponsored link up where at the end they get linked with a big news reveal with a competition? Given the coverage they've got over this? It's clearly worth a lot of money in marketing terms.
