Re: PS4 Spotted in Shin Megami Tensei V Datamine

I’m cool with it coming to PS4, but people are overblowing the performance issues on Switch. It dips but it’s never unplayable nor does it even get in the way that much imo.

I’d definitely double dip if it comes to PC though.

I also think if they’re going to port mainline SMT to Playstation beyond Nocturne then Persona should drop its mainline Playstation exclusivity as well.

Indies in general have embraced gamepass while PlayStation spurns them for more AAA cinematic experiences. And you bring up the UK as one of the strongest markets, but in my home territory, the biggest market for Xbox, it’s still doing quite amazing. And as far as I’ve heard the UK has always been more of a PlayStation territory anyway.

@KayOL77 I couldn’t tell you why they aren’t releasing the data, but I do wish US data and digital sales data was compiled so people like you would stop saying ‘gosh, no one buys games on Xbox’ when Microsoft themselves say gamepass drives a lot of engagement across the entire Xbox ecosystem and console exclusives like Death’s Door sell well with indie developers praising the amount of visibility they get on Xbox. Among the community in the US that I talk to with people that have Xboxes, they do, shockingly enough, buy video games.

@andrewsqual I'll take Tim Schafer's word on cut content getting added back in and getting access to a clinical psychologist for consulting on the writing coming from Microsoft money over fanboys salty over a game they can still play a great running and looking version of anyway.

I kinda dig the vibe of this. If the gameplay looks good i'll probably get it. This looks like edgy 90's Marvel cheese which is something I can't help but be nostalgic for, and it at least looks to be going for its own thing separate from chasing after the MCU.

Now give me Moon Knight, he'd be perfect here.
