Re: Berserk Finally Makes Its Video Game Comeback... In Diablo 4

Perturbator

Kratos in Guts gear in Diablo 4... now I've seen it all.

Was just reading the last chapters of Berserk too. It's now being made by Miura's assistants with the story retold by a friend of Miura (that he previously explained the ending of the series). It's not the same as it was of course, but I'm happy to see the continuation of the story.

Re: RiME Dev Tequila Works Forced to Auction Off Assets After Bankruptcy

Not even quality studios can survive in the tough gaming business these days, it seems.

Rime is great and has one of the more memorable endings I've seen in gaming. The Invisible Hours is a must-play for VR fans of detective mystery.

GYLT being a Stadia exclusive at launch was probably a bad idea though. I've got the game on Steam but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Re: Bloodborne's Switch 2 Spiritual Successor Could Come to PS5 Yet

Perturbator

I'm absolutely interested, even if it is multiplayer. But releasing it exclusively for Switch 2, especially now with the increased price and tariffs and pre-order uncertainty - just sounds like a perfect s#&t storm of bad luck for a game that could be a certain best-seller on other consoles and PC based on the From name alone.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 575

I've been playing a lot of shorter games while listening through rateyourmusics top 40 Atmospheric Drum and Bass albums.

Untamed Tactics

It's like a furry XCOM. Kinda average tactical SRPG.

The Flame in the Flood
Untitled
Post-apocalypse Americana river roguelike sim. I killed a lot of wildlife and made some rabbit mittens.

OTXO
Untitled
It's basically Hotline Miami in b&w as a roguelike. Lacks the magic of those games, though.

More Morrowind in VR

It's so good. I also found these great comics of ecm-artist that should be very recognizable to anyone playing the game.

Re: PS5, PS4 Users Can Avoid PC Hackers After New Call of Duty Update

Perturbator

That's the one thing I miss the most from my console days after going to PC. No cheating &¤#&/¤"#s in multiplayers games.

Sometimes you can clearly tell someone is cheating, but most times its more of a suspicion that something is off (like wallhacks and no recoil) and that just makes the game less fun all around.

INFRA

It's like if Half-Life 2 was a walking sim featuring a grumpy Eastern European man taking pictures of structural damage while pronouncing flashlight as fleshlight.

Lumencraft

It's like if Steamworld Dig was a top-down tower defense game where you drill some glittering pink goo that looks like it came straight out of My Little Pony.

Re: Gradius Origins Collection Brings Legendary Shmup Series to PS5, Includes Brand New Game

@Bionic-Spencer Loved that game, but it was so damn hard! Don't think we got further than halfway in co-op before having to give up. Of course me and my fellow student friends were likely stoned and drunk at the time so that may have affected performance.

Anyway this is still my fav game cover of all time. My copy was all sparkly silver and not gray as it appears in photos though. It was so beautiful!

Re: Pacific Drive's Endless Expeditions Update Arrives on PS5 in April

Perturbator

I got the game in this months Humble Choice for PC, but currently waiting to see if it gets wheel/pedals support down the line.

People have been begging for it in Steam community discussions and the devs said they were exploring it so 'm hoping it will happen eventually. Pacific Drive + VR + Wheel just sounds like a good time.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Thoughts on Bloodborne, 10 Years Later?

Perturbator

For me Demon's Souls (PS3) will always be number one, because it was so special at the time of release. But Bloodborne is a good second place.

Beat it twice and got the Platinum, and I'd probably play it a third time if it ever comes to PC. However, I'm not gonna repeat Chalice Dungeon's Watchdog and Amygdala... never again!

Re: Assassin's Creed Shadows Soars Past 1 Million Players at Launch

Perturbator

@ChrisDeku Those examples are more fair, although they are from quite a while ago (6-7 years ago) whilst KCD2 and MHW are recent releases which were originally supposed to go head to head with Shadows in February, until that was delayed to March instead.

There may be some differences between console and PC gamer habits, but if anything I'd say that Monster Hunter has a more defined console background than Assassin's Creed.

I guess we'll only know Shadows real sales numbers whenever Ubisoft wants to disclose them, though.
