Pragmata’s not due out until 2026, so Capcom still has plenty of time to communicate what makes it special. But this new trailer will give you your best look at the title’s puzzle-based gunplay yet.
We already wrote about the loop extensively in our preview of the sci-fi shooter, but for those looking for direct feed gameplay, this overview trailer does the job.
In it you’ll see how a grid appears when Hugh aims at an enemy. You’ll then use the face buttons to draw a line through power-up blocks, connecting the start and finish destinations to do damage and debuff your adversaries. From there you can take them out using traditional firepower.
Here’s how the official blurb describes the system:

“During combat, a panel will appear on screen while aiming at enemies. This represents Diana’s ability to hack into foes’ defences. By manoeuvring the cursor through this panel, she can take down their armour and provide openings for Hugh to blast enemy weak points with his arsenal of weapons. This system will challenge players to think on the fly to overcome multisided situations in the heat of battle.”
You can actually test out the action for yourself in a minigame on the game’s official website now. That should give you a taste of what to expect from the final product.
As we mentioned in our hands-on, this dance across the DualSense makes for a delightfully satisfying and unique combat loop, and we can’t wait to see how it evolves over the course of the campaign.
Are you excited to try this system out for yourself? You won’t have to wait too long, as the title’s targeting a 2026 release date.
