I detested the demo due to all the drastic changes to gameplay all of which I don’t like, plus it didn’t run that smoothly on my ps4 slim. needless to say I won’t be buying it but for those who liked it, enjoy!
From what Brjánn Sigurgeirsson said it most likely seems to be a timed exclusive and due to the deal with Nintendo he's not allowed to talk about other consoles at this time. A year or so wait stinks but I waited this long for a sequel I can wait longer.
Haha, Ubisoft sells an xp booster in game but doesn't want you getting an xp boost for free in game. They either think their customers are stupid, they have a moron in charge of PR, or both.
It would be nice if Sony stopped censoring third party games and allowed the consumer to make their own decisions instead of playing big brother, just sayin.
After D2 I would never touch another game as a service looter shooter. I feel a good amount of people are tired of all the garbage that goes along with mutliplayer games nowadays and that's why you see a comeback with single player games.
the character art style is terrible enough to make me not buy it. They are typical jrpg characters, not dark enough and not what characters in Castlevania games remotely look like.
@Zuljaras I thought it was too generic as well. The demo didn’t grab my interest and I didn’t see it as a game I would have fun playing. Hopefully it gets an overhaul the first few months of release.
I would hope BioWare is successful too but it’s difficult to release a polished or even finished product when the publishers force the devs to be done by a certain time so they can get sales for a particular quarter to please shareholders. Programming games is difficult and takes more time than publishers usually allow. EA allowed battlefield 5 to be delayed for a month and it was still a buggy unfinished game. I think it would be best to delay Anthem a few months for the issues to be worked out as opposed to releasing a game that will sink BioWare but that would mean a big corporation goes for quality and good PR over money and quarterly sale deadlines so I doubt it will be delayed. At the very least hopefully the issues can be patched as much as possible before release. I’m disappointed that the game is getting bad press due to these issues ahead of release.
I agree that the handheld market is gone sadly. I would still like Sony to release a remote play handheld as an accessory for the PS4 or eventually the PS5, perhaps with ps now support. I enjoyed the remote play feature on my vita and feel it could still be viable to consumers.
@JoeBlogs I agree about smartphones lowering the sales and that the 3ds wasn’t as successful as Nintendo’s past handhelds. However, the 3ds sold about 73 million units compared to the vitas 15 million. So there was enough of a handheld market for Sony to achieve higher numbers if they had done many things differently.
I enjoyed many hours of playing jrpgs and dungeon crawlers on my vita. There was definitely a market for handhelds as shown by the popularity of the 3ds but the lack of advertising, no vita games on store shelves (I seriously couldn’t find a physical store other than gamestop that sold new games for it for the last few years, this would affect sales of the console), a pricey memory card, and a lack of games that weren't jrpgs or dungeon crawlers were the problem. It’s a shame because it was a wonderful system.
Over sensitivity is running rampant here in America right now, I’m not surprised Sony wants to sift through game content with a fine tooth comb rather than have a possible scandal.

Re: Oh No, There's More Modern Day Stuff in Assassin's Creed Valhalla Than the Two Previous Games
The modern storylines are usually weird and annoyingly interrupt the main story for me, I think the amount was just about right in Odyssey.
Re: PS5 Games Could Cost $10 More Than PS4
I rarely buy games at launch, within a few months most of them go down by $20 and in two years you can buy them for $20
Re: The Last of Us 2 Director Discusses Online Vitriol
Harassment is definitely wrong. Was this guy really naive enough to think the majority of players would like the story though??
Re: Naughty Dog Has 'No Plans' for The Last of Us 2 DLC
@OmegaStriver I think the perfect dlc would simply be Ellie waking up at the end of the game and realizing the tlou2 was just a nightmare.

Thanks for the link to the petition, I signed and shared it on social media.

@Averagewriter Until morals over maximum profit doesn't matter to them anymore, which means never.
Re: Rumour: PS Plus May 2020 PS4 Games Leaked, But Source Is Shaky
I’d rather pay $30 a year for a basic membership with no free games. most of the time they are junk or something I’ve already played.

Not happy for myself, I played all the uncharted games ages ago and I have no desire to play a goat simulator game.

I played all the uncharted games years ago one of them was a PS plus game on my PS3.

Re: PS Vita's Not Quite Done Yet, Despite Reports to the Contrary
I love the Vita but it doesn't surprise me if it's done being it's old hardware and a new updated system is needed (waves to Sony).

@WillMerfi I meant a new device with better specs than the vita.
Re: Nintendo Switch Overtakes PS4's Lifetime Sales in Japan
@WillMerfi I wish. I would be content with a new portable Sony device that just supports ps4 remote play and ps now.

Re: Talking Point: PS Now's Delivering Our Streaming Future, So Why Is Sony the Underdog?
Sony needs to lower the price of ps now so it’s more attractive to customers. I know that’s the reason I haven’t subscribed.

Is the 150 health still in the game or did they lower it back to 100?
