It seems like yesterday I was playing the newly released gta vice city stories on my psp, how time flies.

Many games seem to be moving over to open world and multiplayer. I enjoy some of these but I would still like to play linear offline games and hope not all the series I like make the move over.

I’ll be passing on this one. I think Lara should have been cast with an actress a few years older personally.

I like tales too but I wanted a YS game. I hope you like it, it's good just not what I was expecting.

I tried it. It's not YS, this game is more tales than YS.

@whizzkidd wow, the Tex Murphy series is a major flashback to my teens, those were great games.

These companies are out of touch with the gamers like the above poster said. All they need to do is read the comments in the gaming news websites to know what the fans want and host surveys it's not rocket science.

The switch version in the west may not be a given being dragons quest heroes 1&2 never came west for the switch, I'm not sure if it's an agreement with square and Sony or just bad business sense on squares part. Either way I knew it would come west for the PS4 but I'm happy for the confirmation.

I would rather get no games for free and have the membership price go down just for playing online.

I have the mwr digital code that came with i.w unused but not the i.w disc. does this mean I can redeem the code on psn and it will work without needing i.w?

I'm sticking to my regular PS4 and will upgrade when it's the PS5 which will probably release in 2019/2020. honestly Xbox messed up again with the high price tag and not enough games to push the system for that high price tag, however lightening could strike who knows. Nintendo might be selling switches but I'm not impressed with the current library to shell out $300+. if I bought one it would be in another two years when the library is built up and there is probably a "new" switch or a switch pro out.

The vita is a great system. However now with the Nintendo switch out, there needs to be a vita successor. The switch is selling well in the USA so if Sony releases a good product and actually supports it, it should sell well outside Japan.

This is a great idea to compete with the Nintendo market.

The ps5 will be out by then.

Day 1 buy

Best Buy's Gamers Club Unlocked is the only membership I would purchase, at least in the USA. Game sounds just like Gamestop and I don't know how GameStop stays in business with better deals elsewhere. I've seen new games that were the same price or cheaper in retail stores than GameStops used prices.

The first game was bad as well so I wasn't expecting much for this one. Too bad.

All games need an option for larger text. Even on my 47" tv some of these games have the text and in game menus so small I cant understand what the devs were thinking.

Japan is slower to migrate to new hardware than other parts of the world so you will see many PS3 developed games ported to the PS4 a few years in to launch such as tales, atelier series, etc while in the USA for example we are at the point where we expect PS4 made games and are disappointed by a PS3 port. I remember how the PSP lived on in Japan what seems like forever after it was over with and replaced by the Vita.

Good. I don't want paid dlc in games anymore, almost every game has a season pass nowadays. Give us the full game for $60 and make another full game if you want more money.

I only have two complaints. I'm not feeling the new dungeon gameplay. I prefer the p3 and p4 simplicity of grinding my way to the end of randomly generated dungeons without puzzles, taking cover, climbing, etc. Also, the scene after every battle finish should be a quick screen prompt telling me my exp, items, and money that takes one sec to skip with a button press. the current battle finish scene/screen they used is too long. Otherwise I'm very pleased I preordered this game, I just hope we don't have to wait nearly a decade for another one this time.

I think an 8 would have been more like it. There are some graphical and frame rate glitches as well as the loading times but they aren't a 6 bad.

@get2sammyb I agree. Even the Wii U was sold out for a while when it launched. Initial launch numbers mean nothing about the future of the Switch.

Now is the time for Sony to release a vita like device for remote play to combat the switch. It doesn't need to be a new gaming device, just a device for remote play for PS4, and bring the price to about $100. With the news that ps now will stream PS4 games there's even more reason for this.

It's about time. But it's not just the timeline, people are fed up with cod points as well.

@Feena it is coming out then. I agree with some others that unless you really want it the switch isn't a day one buy. I would wait at least another year to get one and wait for the library to fill up.

@JesWood13 the Scorpio has nothing on the base PS4 let alone the PS4 Pro if Microsoft doesn't release well made first party titles (other than Forza) and exclusives. I think more people care about the selection of games over hardware that gives them better resolution and frame rates.

This is great news! I was hoping it would come out as a ps2 game playable on the PS4 for ages. It's not a remaster but definitely more than what I hoped for.

I love the idea of PS Now but $20 a month is too much.

Chloe from uncharted should be on this list, the girl got thrown to the curb by Nate for Elena and will be getting her own game so she deserves it.

Can't believe how activision throws infantry ward under the bus. If they really are returning to roots then all the micro transactions that ACTIVISION was so "passionate" about will cease as well?

They also sell their opened display copy as new when it's their last new copy of the game. This happens a lot because they rarely have a game new after it's been released for a month. You get no discount for it being opened and it's not new because it has been opened and has been handled by customers browsing. how they can get away with that is beyond me. dont sign up for the free power up membership either because it tracks your purchases and the employees use that personal information in their push of the paid power up membership every time you shop there.

I have problems with motion sickness with some first person format games including RE7, I definitely want the third person format back. Also the blind spots caused by first person are annoying when dealing with fights in this game.

Great game but yeah, the graphics aren't that good, and the coloring is rather dull as well like Zesteria. Good news is, the creators have stated that Berseria will be the last new tales game for the PS3.

This was going to happen before IW tanked.

Maybe it would help if capcom revealed actual gameplay footage and in depth info on the game, instead of keeping it such a secret and just releasing teasers. Most people don't want to shell out $60+ to preorder or buy on launch day when they don't know exactly what they are buying.

@Eternallover21 I do give the free games a look, that's why I feel the ps plus service has become a waste to people who don't need the membership for multiplayer. Sony mainly offers free indie games each month that most people don't want to play. Only a minority of people will consider them gems and feel they are getting the most of their ps plus membership.

Unless you play multiplayer games there is no reason to pay for ps plus. it's not worth it, especially after the price increase.

They need to go back to the old PS plus membership prices, it's embarrassing that Sony raised them and it's been down a few times since then.

Excellent system. My only regret was not getting the launch model that was backwards compatible with ps2.

Having most of the other players just jump on top of a roof and snipe at you the entire match just isn't fun multiplayer. I can't say I'm surprised it hasn't sold well on the base of its multiplayer.

We all know why IW is being given away free.
