@Tecinthebrain I've played re6 a few times and I'm not ashamed to admit it lol.

Hopefully we'll get a new 3rd person game with the og resident evil characters instead of another game that's in the new direction Capcom went with for 7 and 8, they are fine but it's not resident evil.

@PapaGlitch definitely not, this is far from the first game to exist with an attractive scantily clad protagonist and
not the first to be successful. Yes many people have issue with western authoritarian culture taking over their games but to say that's the reason this game is doing well is only an attempt to discredit it's success.

@BeerIsAwesome I played the demo last night the gore shocked me and I'm in my 40s and have played many a video game, it's definitely not for kids.

@ChrisDeku A different main character is a big enough issue if you enjoyed and were invested in Alan Wake 1 and the game is advertised as a sequel to Alan Wake and called Alan Wake 2.
I think it makes complete sense for some fans to not be interested or feel let down by the devs.

As long as cod keeps selling well every year the laziness and greed will continue, people need to stop buying the game.

there should be a cheaper plan just for playing online, don't need anything else with it.

Being the PS5 is doing well Sony believes they can get away with this, not the first time big corporations have done this and unfortunately won't be the last.

Cod turned into a slot machine shooter no thanks.

I have no issue with competition but I'm strongly against console companies buying the major developers.

@DennisReynolds lol I know, if the game is called Alan Wake and and his character is the one of the main draws to those buying the sequel it would be common sense show some footage of him in the demo.

Haven't many switched to primarily f2p online games that don't require ps plus membership? This is definitely going to lose Sony many essential subscribers. Corporate and shareholder greed has always diminished quality of services and products for consumers nothing new unfortunately.

I quit playing online games last year so thankfully I'm not reliant on ps plus and can let my essential sub lapse at the end of the year. The price hike is ridiculous, prices are raising in general everywhere and Sony is simply taking advantage of this for extra profit like many other greedy companies.

BioWare games are some of my favorites I hope all goes well for the company.

All cods from the last few years basically launch with the content of an expansion and are developed into a full game by the end of the year.

I hope eventually our main forms of social media can be on open source non profit platforms. Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube have cemented the fact that social media needs to be kept out of big corporates hands.

Unfortunately extra isn't worth it to me as I've already played most of the games offered that I'm interested in, until Sony starts adding new games (doesn't have to be day 1, could be 45 days after launch) and offers a better selection gamepass will continue to be superior.

Big corporate throwing a tantrum making threats when they don't get their way surprise surprise. I give props to the government there, in my country the USA it would quickly go in favor to whomever has the most candidates in their pockets.

Call of duty has been over for years so I could care less if it leaves playstation. Activisions greed has forsaken quality and content, they abandoned 6v6 the heart of the series for f2p modes it's longtime player base don't care about, and cranked up sbmm to the point where gameplay is actually rigged. Rubbish game and I doubt Microsoft will differ much from Activision.

I stopped playing after vanilla destiny 2 was reworked to use rng gear drops and all my current gear was made useless, won't play anything by this company again.

I'll play on my phone until PS5 version releases no biggie.

@Bamila yeah some people aren't getting the fact that regardless of your narrative choice the result is basically the same therefore not making it optional. Reminds me how some were upset over the AC Odyssey dlc shadow heritage.

@get2sammyb Almost all big corporations and groups in the USA have several elected officials in their pockets, business as usual for my country.

Joel dying in part 2 was a big mistake (of many) so I say retcon it and keep him alive in the show.

Never okay to harass actors just doing their jobs. As far as the recast goes, was the change necessary? I don't think so being Ada has no Chinese accent but it is what it is.

I love my PS5 but I can't play many games on graphics mode without the frame rate being so bad I feel like puking so I'm always stuck on lackluster frame rate mode graphics, that's not amazing to me.

Veronica X and then Resident Evil definitely, complete the collection. 5 isn't old enough to desperately need a remake but it would be nice.

@LifeGirl absolutely true the problem is rampant here. The EU has passed some great legislation that would never pass in the USA due to many officials being in the pocket of big corporations.

A monopoly 10 years from now instead of right away? hmm...still no!

@ThomasHL this is basically all reboots nowadays not just games sadly.

@Jeanhenry the beta was actually the alpha and the launched game is the beta. The devs seem to mainly put time into Warzone now and cod gets slowly constructed into a fully working game with each passing season after launch.

I've only played persona 5 vanilla for the ps3 lol. so I'm fine with buying the ps5 version after it drops in price but I feel bad for the people who are disappointed.

The show should never have been associated with Resident Evil.

There are too many expenses in life to drop $70 on all the games i want to buy, there are too many lol. I always wait about a year after release for a sale or price drop and sell the game afterwards to get some money back to make my hobby as least expensive as possible, so many games are released with bugs so it's better to wait anyways.

I won the lottery from Sony to "get a chance" to buy a PS5 from them, got it and it arrived the other day. after all this time of a terrible time trying to buy it no more disappointment over stock selling out in under a minute due to scalpers. I love my PS4 but the Xbox game pass is what PS Now should be.

Cod2 is a nice free choice. I still can't understand why the multiplayer wasn't included. I absolutely loved the multiplayer in cod mw remastered and wanted to play the next one too.
