Re: Review: Destiny 2: Forsaken (PS4)

PJ5

I’m honestly surprised by the grade of 7, I would at least give it an 8 1/2 due to all the improvements and added content. I don’t feel the fact that forsaken requires the previous two expansions should count towards the final review score being d1 and d2 have both required all expansions. it’s not specifically just a forsaken expansion requirement, it’s destiny in general and this review is for the expansion.

Re: Review: Destiny 2: Warmind (PS4)

The endgame content added in the dlc was good and I really like mars as a new location but the campaign was a major letdown. It felt incomplete and released anyways by writers who never played destiny. CoO had a shallow but complete story with little end game content, warmind has content but no story. Why can’t bungie do both?

Re: Japanese Sales Charts: God of War Debuts in Second Place on PS4

PJ5

Most Japanese people love handhelds, it fits their lifestyle better than a console, I’m sure everyone here knows this already. there’s no way for Sony to get continuous sales figures as high as the switch except by releasing a new handheld. These sales charts don’t mean anything other than a reminder of that fact.

Re: God of War's First Unedited Gameplay Footage Dazzles on PS4

PJ5

@munkondi I agree about his kid. Also am I the only one who is confused about their personality? Atreus grows up in this time period with a father like Kratos and they act like a normal modern kid?? It clashes with the rest of the game imo. This is god of war, not the last of us.

Re: Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition Confirmed, Contains Brand New Content

PJ5

I would have purchased this being I only had the base game but I hated the ending so much that I don’t care about the dlc nor will I be buying this version. (obligatory disclaimer: I know some people liked the ending and I respect that opinion but honestly I play video games to forget about dreary real life, I don’t want that as the reward for putting hours of my time into a game. I know one of the dlcs gave an alternative version of the ending but it was still crap).

Re: Destiny 2 Players Continue Large Scale Campaign Against Microtransactions

PJ5

I never had a problem with eververse until the dawning. You can’t even break down what you do get for free to get brightdust, that’s taking it too far. To me it’s not so much complaining about eververse it’s to send a message to all gaming devs/publishers out there that this needs to stop in full price games because it’s slowly starting to become the norm and get worse.

Re: Review: Final Fantasy XV: Episode Ignis (PS4)

******spoiler for base game******

Can we please get a dlc that adds to or alters the wtf of an ending of this game? These dlcs are great but I still know how it all ends and it takes away from my enjoyment of them. Does anyone else agree?

Re: Guide: Monster Hunter: World PS4 Beta - When Does it Start, What Time, and What's In It

PJ5

Can someone clarify this disclaimer that is in the beta notes for me?
“Data will not be saved. Once the application is closed, your character's name, appearance, equipment, and all other settings will be reset to default.”
Does this mean that every time I close the beta app to play something else I will lose my settings or does that mean when the beta ends I lose my settings? I hope it the latter.

Re: After the Battlefront 2 Scandal, EA UFC 3's Beta Sounds Like a Disaster

PJ5

EA is terrible as always, I really hope many people just stop buying their games. On a side note, whatever happened to a $60 game just being a $60 game?! You have micro transactions to unlock content you paid $60 for already or they want you to pay an extra $25+ for season pass dlc that expands on the story. Its like paying for a book with some pages missing and the bookstore wants more money for those so you get the complete story. I just want to be able to buy a AAA game again that doesn’t lock me out of anything for $60.

Re: EA Removes Microtransactions from Star Wars Battlefront 2, for Now at Least

PJ5

It’s a trap. Activision delayed their micro transactions for WW2 while they fix the game issues and it was commended, no surprise as EA and Activision copy each other all the time. I still am very wary that EA will keep its promise to adjust the game. I feel that this is just a ploy to get people to buy the game tomorrow and the only purpose of this delay is to give people a head start to advance in the game before the people who buy micro transactions arrive.

Re: Review: Call of Duty: WWII (PS4)

PJ5

I’m so glad to read a review by someone who wasn’t paid off by Activision. Gamespot and Ign didn’t touch on some of the games issues and then sugar coated the issues they did report on.
The tech issues are a disgrace. I absolutely agree with you about the problems with the maps having too many paths and horrible spawns, and lastly the games overall catering to snipers. It’s not a horrible game at all but there were poor choices made to what could have been a much better game and a solid launch.

Re: Poll: What Are Your Thoughts on Call of Duty as a Whole?

PJ5

I tried bo3 for a few months, what’s fun about playing a game with people quick scoping, spawn trapping, camping, and flying around in the air like a dandelion? Multiplayer shooters just aren’t for me, it’s a nice idea in theory but the players ruin it and the devs encourage them to.

Re: EA Moving to More Monetisable Open World Games

PJ5

The gaming industry is going down the crapper due to quick cash greed. I’m getting concerned about the future of single player campaigns and the increased paywalls behind multiplayer’s. People need to stop paying for this junk or it’s never going to stop.

Re: Star Wars Battlefront 2's Beta Is Now Free for Everyone By the Way

PJ5

It’s battlefield one reskinned with Star Wars so that might please some people. I figured this would be the case from previous videos I watched but I was trying to keep positive. I liked the previous battlefront game better and will be passing on this unfortunately, but to those who love it enjoy!
