Re: Destiny 2: Beyond Light Trailer Takes a Tour of Europa

After another 1500 hours in D2, I had to tap out. The direction they have taken this game with the seasonal content pass, the FOMO, the sun setting and vaulting of content just to recycle in old D1 content....none of it sits well with me. I want to enjoy this game still but I just can’t at the moment.

Re: Sony Plans to Make Advancements to VR with PS5

MrZurkonKeelYou

@Octane he might be using better headphones than the clip in ones that were packed in. So that’s an additional cable. If he has any other accessories like a haptic vest, that’s another cable. It can be tricky. I have 3 cables when I play but I’ve made cable guides on my vest that keep wires at bay while giving me freedom to flail about lol.

Re: Sony on PS5 Exclusives: We Can't Take Everyone with Us from Previous Gens

MrZurkonKeelYou

@S1ayeR74 you don’t think there’s an equal amount of rubbish being said about Sony’s strategy? I mean in this article it’s Phil Spencer shoveling the crap towards Sony, but he’s just doing his job, trying to lure people to XSX. @bearseatbeets is correct that Gamepass has turn into such a cash cow for them. So when Phil says he doesn’t want to force people into a new gen of hardware it’s because their current base of Gamepass users are still a gen behind.

Re: Interview: Attempting to Make the Ultimate VR Game with Marvel's Iron Man VR

MrZurkonKeelYou

@Menchi I’m not gonna bash your opinion. Having played a bit of Alyx and having played this demo, you can’t compare the two. Alyx has a depth that PSVR can’t touch because of the hardware limitations. That said, the Iron Man demo was equally impressive for other reasons. You “felt” like Iron Man. The flight control and combat works really well and is somewhat natural. Both games are great on their own, no comparisons are needed since they are in their own space.

Re: The Last of Us 2 Has Gone Gold, Neil Druckmann Confirms in Heartfelt Message

MrZurkonKeelYou

@s22222 I neither have the time nor the energy to go thru the fine print of a EULA to find a specific line to address this, but almost every EULA has a line about this. If it isn’t in YouTube’s, then it’s in Sony’s. When you’re talking about publications giving spoilers and talking about spoilers, it’s typically after something has launch and has been in the wild and in the hands of the public. When you factor in the method of how TLOU2 spoilers were acquired...via theft, then what’s the issue with them protecting their property by having posts taken down?

Re: The Last of Us 2 Has Gone Gold, Neil Druckmann Confirms in Heartfelt Message

MrZurkonKeelYou

@s22222 well if you read all of YouTube’s user agreement, or any user agreement that has public comment response sections, you’ll find that the original poster of any video can be held responsible for some of the comments. So if they posted a video And it had comments that were in violation of the user agreement, or infringed on copyrights, then it can be removed. Sounds like you’re trying to make more of this than what it is.

Re: Feature: PSVR Had a Great Start, But It's Time to Up the Ante

MrZurkonKeelYou

@Stragen8 you are definitely missing out. Superhot, Everybody’s Golf, Sprint Vector, Blood and Truth are must haves in my opinion. The sleeper game to play is 2MD Football. I’ve had this since it launched and play it daily. Everyone that enjoys VR and sports needs to try it. It was created by a two person dev team and they nailed the throwing mechanic better than most. Is it perfect no, but it’s playability is fantastic. These are the games PSVR needs....sports sports sports. There’s plenty of shooters, horror and puzzle games but few quality sports titles.

Re: PS5 Will Save You Lots and Lots of Time

MrZurkonKeelYou

@get2sammyb I completely agree. This will be something Sony has to figure out. The PS4 UI crawls at times. I’ve tried rebuilding the database and clearing the cache and they are only a temporary bandaid that lasts a few days. I suppose in the end as long as games still load stupid fast on PS5 then that’s all that will matter.

Re: Destiny 2: Shadowkeep - Looter Shooter Comfort Food and Not a Whole Lot More

MrZurkonKeelYou

This expansion is a mixed bag for me. The Vex invasion stuff is a better version of Menagerie and the moon is a fun trip down memory lane, but for all their sales pitching and promises of taking the Destiny franchise to new places, it was ironic to go back to a D1 location. Since this expansion was likely under production while still associated Activision, I didn’t expect it to be the game changer they promised and it isn’t. It’s simply more content and tweaks to some game systems to shift the grind around. The most annoying thing about this franchise is when Bungie stands up and says “hey we want you to play your style and feel powerful” but they always control the narrative. They nerf and buff weapons/abilities to steer the community to play the game how THEY see it. It’s still a fun game, especially with friends but it will be a while before we actually see what life post Activision feels like.

Re: Guide: Upcoming PSVR Games in 2019

MrZurkonKeelYou

Need more quality sports games that have head to head online play. I’ve been clamoring for a VR Sports Champions for a while. Everybody’s Golf is great, 2MD VR Football is fantastic, someone needs to step up and make more sports titles happen.

Re: PSVR's Inevitable PS5 Successor Could Be a Dramatic Improvement

MrZurkonKeelYou

@get2sammyb I fully agree with this. The new Everybody’s Golf is a perfect example. Taking screen shots and viewing them out of the headset, they look awful low rez and flat. But while in the headset during game play the visuals are really good and pop. When they release a new version that’s wireless, it’s a day one purchase for me. VR is just too good not to.
