@NintendoFan4lyf It’s called sarcasm, so I’ll assume you’ve never seen anything I’ve posted either. But with adding “people still play this” to your comment, it comes of as troll-ish😂
@Savino I’ll give you that you specified Sony Studios, but you can’t claim it’s dead by any sense of the imagination. Too many games coming out the rest of the year and into 2019.
@Savino PSVR is almost dead? Only releasing 2 titles? There were 4-6 solid titles released the past 2 weeks alone, you’re spewing utter nonsense. Maybe you are not buying anything, or maybe nothing interests you, but since they are still the market leader in VR headset sales, it’s anything but dead. @get2sammyb wanna help educate him?
@Savino PS Eye lasted 2003-2008 the PS Move Controllers 2010-current and PSVR is About to turn 2....I’d say you’re a bit off or maybe straight trolling.
@MattSilverado I guess I look at it differently. BC isn’t a console selling point for me anymore. I just don’t see anyone saying “Can’t wait to buy a PS5 so I can play my PS4 games.” Again, not saying it isn’t a nice feature, it’s just not going to sell me on one console over another.
I could be in the minority on this but personally I don’t see BC as anything I need. A nice feature sure, but not a reason for me to buy one console over another. I remember thinking that my PS3 launch model was awesome because of BC, but used it once or twice. As new games with new experiences and better quality launched, I simply kept moving forward and never revisited old games. So when PS5 launches having an instant game catalog of PS4 titles sounds nice, I likely will be playing the new stuff instead. I’m more interested in cross play anyway. After years of trash talking, with real life friends on different consoles over this and that, it would be great to finally play them head to head.
@RainbowGazelle Superhot, Moss, Farpoint, Rigs, 2MD Football, Job Simulator, Knockout League, Toy Room, Gun Jack, Starblood Arena. There’s a ton honestly that are good titles. I have about 40 titles. I don’t really recommend the “VR experiences” they sell in the store, I’d say avoid those.
Of everything they showed, the one game that had me the most excited was the Remedy game Control. Having lost Ninja Theory to MS, seeing Remedy release a game on PlayStation was nice. They have a solid game history but it’s the game that’s getting the least amount of buzz lol
@Flaming_Kaiser I was merely referring to dollars spent to time spent playing. Personally I think the gameplay is fantastic, it just feels right playing each character and the art direction and score is top notch. Are there things I don’t like, sure, but as a whole the game is fun and for me a worthwhile purchase especially considering the social aspects when raiding or crucible play with a solid group. The shader system sucks, Eververse sucks, the community is volatile most of the time, but it’s still fun and no one puts a gun to my head to make Eververse purchases.
@ellsworth004 currently 1 full raid and 2 Raid lairs which are basically half raids/6 man heroic strikes. They showed 1 new full raid today that is coming in September.
@MrOso you may call it impulse buying or whatever, but I look at the hours I’ll get out of it, not just solo but with a group of friends. So while it seems overpriced to you, when I get dozens of not hundreds of hours out of it, it’s money well spent.
@adf86 they still have the “free” seasonal events though they’ve yet to have the SRL in Destiny 2. The pricing on everything so far has been the same as D1 DLCs and Expansions in fact it mirrors D1 almost perfectly.
@ShogunRok it does and it’s an honest answer. I was hoping for more from this DLC, but at this point I’m lying to myself if I think Bungie can salvage this game. It’s still fun with a group of friends though....but finding some to run with is getting to be a challenge 😂
@Octane I understand how they come up with it numerically, my point was, in all likelyhood, the reviewer isn’t at max light and therefore also likely isn’t able to complete the “Escalation Protocol” or try the new raid lair or even possibly have found everything in the DLC. Again, don’t get me wrong, 5/10 could be completely fair but without actually completing 100% of the DLC how can someone give it a score?
I’m just curious how much of the DLC the reviewer played? Since most of the content seems to be “locked” behind the new level cap how can an accurate opinion of the finished product be judged? Not arguing with the review here, just more curious how they reached this score conclusion?
@KingSandyRavage I’d argue that Moss, RIGS, RE 7, Superhot, Sparc, Eve Valkyrie all could be a PSVR system selling title. Really none of those were marketed that way. As for 2MD, it has a $12.99usd price and is on sale the first week for $9.99usd. At that price, I already know what I’m getting and will likely enjoy it for what it is. At some point, gamers need to look past graphics engines and visuals as the end all be all of what makes a great game. It’s experience, gameplay and story being the cores to a good game. Not the tech behind them.
I still play but not daily like I used to. Too many good games out right now to stay dedicated even if D2 was amazing. Still a solid shooter with good mechanics and I think the ranked crucible will bring some players back but this DLC will likely be another small addition.
@rjejr if reviews caused you to skip Mafia 3 then you completely missed out. Also, it’s not all “brown” in it’s visuals. Great story, fantastic sound track, good visuals and decent gunplay mechanics. You can probably pick it up on the cheap now and I’d give it a solid 7.5/10
This is outstanding! The fact that he poured his everything into making this game his way and that Sony stuck by his side and patiently waited for it to come together seems like it’s becoming less common lately. Hopefully more developers will be encourage to turn their dream games into reality and also hopefully big publishers will look at this and see that taking risks and having faith can deliver great results.
I have the game already and it’s a solid 8/10. My only real issue I’d that the PSVR cable occasionally gets in the way with all the punching and ducking/twisting to dodge punches. No one will be disappointed with owning this game.
@manu0 the disc is the Japanese import. It plays with English subtitles on my American PSN account. I verified it has English subtitles about an hour ago. I can’t get any of the DLC’s since they are only available in the Asian markets, but I have an Asian PSN account set up also so I can get the DLC if I want them. The disc I bought had the first couple of DLC’s already there. Not sure if there’s any point in getting any more of the DLC’s especially since I’m not into blondes 😂
I can say that visually it’s an impressive PSVR title, and while it’s suggested, it’s not as creepy as you would think. Maybe the creep factor is more based on the player than the game?? Anyway, maybe now I can finish it since it was a guessing game as to what to do without English subtitles.
@AFCC dude go back and read my original response to another person’s comment. You have completely derailed what was being discussed at the time and continually change whatever point you’re trying to get across. The guy was talking about the demo and “shooting the same enemies with the same gun forever.” The demo had some 15-20 different guns including 3 exotics. Hardly the same gun forever. Then out of the blue you bring up the game’s AI? Just simply say you don’t like Destiny and leave it at that.
@AFCC completely disagree. Do you not understand the concept of a demo? A demo is merely a sampling of a game. It shouldn’t provide a player with every in game experience. If Bungie has given more then the complaints would have been that “too much was shown in the demo.” Youre coming off as entitled. Bungie doesn’t have to give a demo or beta, they choose to.
@AFCC you have me a bit confused here. When did I mention the AI or anything about enemies being bullet sponges(which is standard in these kind of games. It’s the same in The Division)? I was merely asking what the guy expected in a demo of the game.
@Matroska the same gun forever? The demo had a few different guns and in typical demo form it didn’t give you any of the good stuff. It’s only supposed to give you a taste of the mechanics and a sample of a game area. What did you expect from a demo?
@WanderingBullet honestly it’s not just Ubisoft. I have some VR games that were just okay at launch but after the 5th or 6th patch they are much better. I can only assume it’s easier to meet a launch date and then fix issues post release. Not the best trend for sure.
@arnoldlayne83 I agree to a certain extent but you were also left behind if you didn’t have the season pass when the first DLC’s dropped. The launch issues with The Division have some parallels with Destiny’s. I remember The Division promising some missions in the first DLC that were not there. That said, The Division as it is today is vastly better that what is was when launched.
@arnoldlayne83 The Division was a turd when it launched and only now, a few years later is it really good. They took a while to get it right same as Bungie.

@XurAgentofthe9 so you didn’t try the Solstice grind? That definitely wasn’t for the casual fan base.

@NintendoFan4Lyf given your screen name here, it’s no surprise you haven’t played it, and yes people still play it.
Re: 2K Sports Picks Up The Golf Club 2019 Featuring PGA Tour
I’m still surprised that no company had made a PSVR golf game (I’m not counting the putt-putt game) especially since The Club has VR play on the PC.
