Re: Adorable PSVR Favourite Moss Gets a Free Content Update Next Month

@Paranoimia I can agree with some of what you’re saying but I don’t see it going the way of 3D. The tech is finally being “unlocked” and the games and experiences are getting better and better. Also, my friends that didn’t buy Moss at launch, have pretty much all purchased it now. Some were simply waiting for physical copies. I will say they need more quality sports titles to bring in more people, but at least Everybody’s Golf is right around the corner.

@Paranoimia I know a few dozen people personally that have the PSVR and of those nearly 40 gamers, only 10 bought Moss within the launch window. It was made for VR so naturally 95% of PS4 owners haven’t played it. My overlooked comment was based on it being overlooked by the VR community not gaming community in general. There are plenty of VR games that are worth buying a headset for though, so if you wanna play Moss don’t hesitate since there’s plenty of other stuff to play.

I can see them offering up different Tiers of content for purchase. The micro transactions will never go away, which doesn’t bother me since I rarely purchase any of them. But a tier based option seems plausible to me. One things for sure, whatever path they take, plenty of players on either side are going to be disappointed and express it loudly. It’s impossible to please all gamers all of the time.

@Octane have you tried the Vive Pro with the wireless option? It’s still comfortable and gives a good 2-3 hours of gaming per charge. I would suspect that most people max at that time range playing VR in one sitting anyway. I’ve done some VR marathons and it gets really warm after a few hours anyway. I will conced that the PSVR 2.0 has a better cord option that the original model, but having the cord on with version coming out of the side as opposed to the rear has always been a design flaw in my opinion along with the lack of Bluetooth support because the fewer cords the better. Again, I love PSVR and have been enjoying since launch day, I just think there are serveral way to improve on what they’ve started.

Re: PSVR Owners Being Gifted $10 PS Store Credit

MrZurkonKeelYou

@naruball there was a code generating issue. I couldn’t use the email at first as well. I contacted Sony and the sent me a specific code within 24 hours. It was basically a $33 account credit.
@glassmusic do you register all your products with Playstation? All my friends that registered their PSVRs got a code in an email, those that didn’t register were left out.

Re: Review: Destiny 2: Forsaken (PS4)

@ShogunRok I agree, it seems the QoL team that brought Taken King and the launch team that brought the original Destiny 2 were clearly never in the same room when discussing production, story, what players like and how the game should carry on TTK changes that were introduced. Bungie may have thought they knew what we wanted, but clearly assumed it was only a better launch story and not all the rest of the stuff they took away from us. Maybe by the time Destiny 14 comes out everyone at Bungie will be on the same page.

Re: Review: Destiny 2: Forsaken (PS4)

MrZurkonKeelYou

@ShogunRok I think your review is mostly fair and on point. The only criticism I have towards what you said was in your conclusion. It seems like the cost of owning each piece of Destiny 2 to play Forsaken has potentially reduced your review score. I think something like this expansion has to be reviewed on its own merit and not because it’s tethered to the base game and older DLC’s. Personally I’ve been a fan of the series so far, so maybe my opinion is a bit skewed, but this is an 8.5/10 for me because of what it has done to the entire game. The QoL issues are mostly reworked and are better off now than before. They did make a couple of dumb decisions like redeeming stuff at the Weapon Master takes 100 parts now. Which is fine, but why do I have to pay in increments of 10 parts? Shouldn’t I just press the button once and see 100 weapon parts transfer to him? There are a couple of things like that that I find annoying, but there is so much to do now that I’m struggling with alt characters, and having too much to do in this case is a good thing.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of Destiny 2: Forsaken?

MrZurkonKeelYou

@TorPip50 honestly it’s not too expensive for what’s here. Having just reached the Dreamin City in my own game, this expansion easily has more content than TTK. For $40 you’ll get your money worth. Then you can later decide if you want the additional season pass. There really is a lot of stuff to do in Forsaken.

Re: Poll: What Do You Think of Destiny 2: Forsaken?

MrZurkonKeelYou

I think it comes down to whether you’re a casual or a diehard fan. Casuals will have to actually grind more and that will be a turn off. As a diehard I like the grind and the challenge. Gambit is an awesome game mode. There are more ways to keep increasing levels than before as well. Good stuff Bungie.

Re: Spider-Man PS4's Puddle Drama Is An Absolute Embarrassment

MrZurkonKeelYou

@mantralux you do realize that if the developer changed the time of day for this part of the game that the shadows and lighting effects will change as well. And compression can make a difference since we don’t know what device the “downgraded” pic could have been captured and reproduced with. People need to just calm the F down and wait until Sept 7th and find out for themselves.

Re: Review: Firewall Zero Hour (PS4)

MrZurkonKeelYou

After my first match, I thought @get2sammyb was nuts and this was a solid 8 maybe 9/10. But now I’ve had nothing but connection issues including right in the middle of shooting an opponent. Which is bringing me to his score of 6/10. If they can fix these server issues and add more game modes then the score should be revisited.

Re: Destiny 2 Available Right Now on PS Plus

MrZurkonKeelYou

@Bliquid if you download D2 and enjoy the game, then that’s a valid reason. For me it’s as simple as that. I enjoy playing Destiny with my group of friends so if I have to spend $30-40 three times a year to continue the story and get more content I don’t have a problem with it since I feel I get my money’s worth.
