@Paranoimia I can agree with some of what you’re saying but I don’t see it going the way of 3D. The tech is finally being “unlocked” and the games and experiences are getting better and better. Also, my friends that didn’t buy Moss at launch, have pretty much all purchased it now. Some were simply waiting for physical copies. I will say they need more quality sports titles to bring in more people, but at least Everybody’s Golf is right around the corner.
@Paranoimia I know a few dozen people personally that have the PSVR and of those nearly 40 gamers, only 10 bought Moss within the launch window. It was made for VR so naturally 95% of PS4 owners haven’t played it. My overlooked comment was based on it being overlooked by the VR community not gaming community in general. There are plenty of VR games that are worth buying a headset for though, so if you wanna play Moss don’t hesitate since there’s plenty of other stuff to play.
I’d love to see another take on several games from PS3. Resistance, KillZone 2, infamous, or Dead Space. I doubt EA would approve of Dead Space but I can hope.
I still play this almost daily. Too much fun and laughs running with a solid group....or even a crappy group would be fun😂 I’m glad more content is coming.
Had really high hopes but after the beta, I’ll be holding off on some reviews. Not sure what happened at BioWare, maybe some talent left for other studios, but for me they peaked at Mass Effect 2 and have been slipping since. Fingers crossed though.
@Arcade_Tokyo as a father myself, I enjoy playing games with my son. Gets a bit competitive at times because we both want to win. He’s 16 now and is pushing me constantly to stay on top of my game 😂😂
Nice article...only thing I took away is that you never fired up RIGS. I was reading and thinking to myself “this guy is crazy” RIGS is one of PSVR’s best games LOL!
I can see them offering up different Tiers of content for purchase. The micro transactions will never go away, which doesn’t bother me since I rarely purchase any of them. But a tier based option seems plausible to me. One things for sure, whatever path they take, plenty of players on either side are going to be disappointed and express it loudly. It’s impossible to please all gamers all of the time.
@doctommaso it’s probably not considered under the radar enough to make this list. Sony has added it to a lot of upcoming title sizzle reels. But probably like you, I have seen enough on this title and it really has me interested.
@Nyne11Tyme actually after reviewing the US top PSVR downloads, our fellow ‘Mericans really need an education in good VR games😂 Superhot derserves to be there, but Surgeon Simulator? Rick and Morty? Driveclub? Arizona Sunshine? Those wouldn’t crack my top 25.
Personally I like Days Gone over RE 2 since I’ve played RE 2 before, that said RE 2 does look like a nice remastering so I’ll likely pick it up at a later date. My most interested in title is Concrete Genie. Seems to be flying under the radar but thus far that art that I’ve seen is impressive.
This game is awesome! Well worth the $10 or $15 that it’s priced at. What few people may know is that Truant Pixel is a 3 person dev team. They derserve acolades for what they’ve been able to accomplish. Really impressive and if they somehow pull off head to head online that would be icing on the cake.
@Octane have you tried the Vive Pro with the wireless option? It’s still comfortable and gives a good 2-3 hours of gaming per charge. I would suspect that most people max at that time range playing VR in one sitting anyway. I’ve done some VR marathons and it gets really warm after a few hours anyway. I will conced that the PSVR 2.0 has a better cord option that the original model, but having the cord on with version coming out of the side as opposed to the rear has always been a design flaw in my opinion along with the lack of Bluetooth support because the fewer cords the better. Again, I love PSVR and have been enjoying since launch day, I just think there are serveral way to improve on what they’ve started.
@bindiana in fairness to Luke Smith or Activision for that matter, are sales ever high enough to make someone happy? But I agree he is referring to the state of gameplay, and it’s really good right now.
@naruball there was a code generating issue. I couldn’t use the email at first as well. I contacted Sony and the sent me a specific code within 24 hours. It was basically a $33 account credit. @glassmusic do you register all your products with Playstation? All my friends that registered their PSVRs got a code in an email, those that didn’t register were left out.
Time to bring back Kevin Butler. This was my favorite marketing time for Playstation. Could show him down on his luck (PS3 days) and then his resurgence (PS4 days) and his return to the top for PS5.
@ShogunRok I agree, it seems the QoL team that brought Taken King and the launch team that brought the original Destiny 2 were clearly never in the same room when discussing production, story, what players like and how the game should carry on TTK changes that were introduced. Bungie may have thought they knew what we wanted, but clearly assumed it was only a better launch story and not all the rest of the stuff they took away from us. Maybe by the time Destiny 14 comes out everyone at Bungie will be on the same page.
@ShogunRok I think your review is mostly fair and on point. The only criticism I have towards what you said was in your conclusion. It seems like the cost of owning each piece of Destiny 2 to play Forsaken has potentially reduced your review score. I think something like this expansion has to be reviewed on its own merit and not because it’s tethered to the base game and older DLC’s. Personally I’ve been a fan of the series so far, so maybe my opinion is a bit skewed, but this is an 8.5/10 for me because of what it has done to the entire game. The QoL issues are mostly reworked and are better off now than before. They did make a couple of dumb decisions like redeeming stuff at the Weapon Master takes 100 parts now. Which is fine, but why do I have to pay in increments of 10 parts? Shouldn’t I just press the button once and see 100 weapon parts transfer to him? There are a couple of things like that that I find annoying, but there is so much to do now that I’m struggling with alt characters, and having too much to do in this case is a good thing.
@TorPip50 honestly it’s not too expensive for what’s here. Having just reached the Dreamin City in my own game, this expansion easily has more content than TTK. For $40 you’ll get your money worth. Then you can later decide if you want the additional season pass. There really is a lot of stuff to do in Forsaken.
I think it comes down to whether you’re a casual or a diehard fan. Casuals will have to actually grind more and that will be a turn off. As a diehard I like the grind and the challenge. Gambit is an awesome game mode. There are more ways to keep increasing levels than before as well. Good stuff Bungie.
@Bagshot you’ll have to go thru the full campaign and all minor DLC first. The QoL changes from Forsaken should be in effect throughout though. Honestly starting from scratch now would be easier than when it launched.
@CK97 why are you attacking @get2sammyb? He didn’t attack you. There is no need to take a personal shot at someone because they disagree with you and agree with the developer, who in this case has a great reputation and likely don’t want it tainted.
@mantralux you do realize that if the developer changed the time of day for this part of the game that the shadows and lighting effects will change as well. And compression can make a difference since we don’t know what device the “downgraded” pic could have been captured and reproduced with. People need to just calm the F down and wait until Sept 7th and find out for themselves.
@get2sammyb just further proof of how dumb people can be, plus how easily and quickly some BS like this gains unnecessary exposure. The fact that Insomniac has to defend themselves is embarrassing. #therealfakenews
After my first match, I thought @get2sammyb was nuts and this was a solid 8 maybe 9/10. But now I’ve had nothing but connection issues including right in the middle of shooting an opponent. Which is bringing me to his score of 6/10. If they can fix these server issues and add more game modes then the score should be revisited.
@Bliquid if you download D2 and enjoy the game, then that’s a valid reason. For me it’s as simple as that. I enjoy playing Destiny with my group of friends so if I have to spend $30-40 three times a year to continue the story and get more content I don’t have a problem with it since I feel I get my money’s worth.
@kyleforrester87 I think that’s what a lot of players aren’t understanding about Destiny in general. It’s ok solo, but a blast with friends. It’s a solid social experience.
@BladeRider you never briefly take back an ex for an anger bang? I mean you may not be happy with yourself after, but you were able to blow off some steam.😂
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I agree that the armor is visually appealing, but it was a grind and I don’t see how that’s a bad thing, but it is a shame that it’s basically useless in 2 weeks.

Re: The Division 2’s First Raid Launches Tomorrow, Will Not Have Matchmaking
@dark_knightmare2 an activity like this brings people back or causes a rush of new players to try the game. I think you’ll see an uptick for sure.
Re: The Division 2’s First Raid Launches Tomorrow, Will Not Have Matchmaking
At this point in Divisions 2’s life there should be plenty of players active in clans and friends lists. I don’t see this as an issue at this time.
Re: Adorable PSVR Favourite Moss Gets a Free Content Update Next Month
Nice! Seriously underrated and overlooked game.
Re: Everybody's Golf VR Demo Tees Off Today on PS Store
I think every VR title should have a demo....check that, every game should have one.
Re: Days Gone - Open World Comfort Food with a Survival Horror Spin
@Dodoo only thing I found wrong with The Order was that it was too short.
Re: Days Gone - Open World Comfort Food with a Survival Horror Spin
@get2sammyb would any of the recent “post” launch patches affect your score? Asking since they supposed fix quite a few bugs in the last 2 updates.

Re: Massive ANTHEM Day One Patch Should Smooth Out the Game for Its PS4 Launch
So they just shipped everyone a copy of the beta? Honestly that’s what it sounds like and these updates are the result of beta feedback.

Re: StarBlood Arena No Longer Playable Past July 2019
This is a solid VR game. Too bad it received zero marketing and originally launched when the PSVR base was much smaller.
