@AFCC completely disagree. Do you not understand the concept of a demo? A demo is merely a sampling of a game. It shouldn’t provide a player with every in game experience. If Bungie has given more then the complaints would have been that “too much was shown in the demo.” Youre coming off as entitled. Bungie doesn’t have to give a demo or beta, they choose to.
@AFCC you have me a bit confused here. When did I mention the AI or anything about enemies being bullet sponges(which is standard in these kind of games. It’s the same in The Division)? I was merely asking what the guy expected in a demo of the game.
@Matroska the same gun forever? The demo had a few different guns and in typical demo form it didn’t give you any of the good stuff. It’s only supposed to give you a taste of the mechanics and a sample of a game area. What did you expect from a demo?
@WanderingBullet honestly it’s not just Ubisoft. I have some VR games that were just okay at launch but after the 5th or 6th patch they are much better. I can only assume it’s easier to meet a launch date and then fix issues post release. Not the best trend for sure.
@arnoldlayne83 I agree to a certain extent but you were also left behind if you didn’t have the season pass when the first DLC’s dropped. The launch issues with The Division have some parallels with Destiny’s. I remember The Division promising some missions in the first DLC that were not there. That said, The Division as it is today is vastly better that what is was when launched.
@arnoldlayne83 The Division was a turd when it launched and only now, a few years later is it really good. They took a while to get it right same as Bungie.
Personally I still play Destiny 2 and still enjoy it, but that’s probably due to the solid clan I run with always being active. As far as micro-transactions, has it ever crossed anyone’s mind that Bungie may be contractually obligated to keep Eververse in there? Anything associated with Activision seems to have the micro-transactions. Bungie is the developer, but they answer to Activision on the business side. Maybe the hate is slightly misguided....
@NinjaWaddleDee I’m sure that guy will say he did and will also say they are trash. He caused my troll radar to go off when he first commented. It’s probably best to let him finish whatever bottle he is drowning his sorrows in.
@JLPick can’t honestly assess that. To me it is. But, what’s worth $20 to me may not be worth $20 to you. Even though I’ve completed it and gotten all the trophies, I still pop in and play it now and then. That being said, I think I caught it in a sale for $14.99
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi I think “force” is a bit of a stretch. That’s like saying there is no other choice. I have no idea how many public events I’ve completed...probably don’t wanna know either. After nearly 250 hours in the game I find myself doing less and less of the public events. You’re supposed to be grinding away in Iron Banner this week anyway lol.
@Octane I can see how people may think this was nudging people towards spending real money for cosmetic items, but in reality, people that are chasing certain cosmetic items buy the bright engrams whether they grind or not. Clearly though, one certain gamer has too much time on their hands if they sat and figured all this out😂
Again, why was this even an issue? Bright Engrams really only provide cosmetics and little else. Besides, according to every article in the internet, no one is playing Destiny 2 anymore, so who benefits?
Bright engrams only have mostly cosmetic rewards and a bonus XP ghost or a sparrow that spawns fast isn’t going to give any player a real competitive advantage. There isn’t nothing to see here except someone pushing their dislike/hate for Bungie agenda.
They should use the you don’t know jack website method as opposed to apps. Seems simpler to me. @Anchorsam_9 Hidden Agenda is already out...at least in the states.
I think this game is a blast and the style is pretty cool to. I usually choose the guy wearing the hotdog costume because he inappropriately shakes his wiener...😂😂😂 but seriously he does.
@Totaldude911 I’ve tried all the settings. My biggest issue is how slow the moving is. Teleporting sucks and the smooth movement is painfully slow. That’s why ruins the game for me. If they eventually push a patch the increases the movement speed I’ll give it another go.
@MrGawain https://vrscout.com/news/vr-market-adoption-2017/ I believe your wrong. PSVR has been a pretty large success. Especially when you consider the horrible time they had manufacturing enough to come close to meeting the demand at launch. I think if manufacturing had been better, they’d easily be near 3 million in sales. Then factor game attach rate on top of that...
@lacerz I’m right there with you. The PSVR difference between stock PS4 and the PRO is significant. So far, of the 25+ PSVR titles I’ve purchased, I’ve only been disappointed with Arizona Sunshine. Thoroughly enjoyed all the rest so far.
@BAMozzy going a bit overboard on @themcnoisy aren’t you? I took his comment with the sarcastic, hunerous tone that I believe was intended. I expect a gamer not to be so judgmental. Exclusivity drives console sales, if you were on Sony’s board of directors, you’d be wanting all the exclusives you could pay for. Nature of the business at this point and all sides do it.
My only complaint is the Clan based rewards. Why give rewards to people that aren’t that active in clans? Never made sense to me. Make that 2 complaints, the companion app is a mess. How can it not have stat tracking?
@TomDobo really after the first week? The raid wasn’t even available when you “quit”. I can agree that doing the milestones each Tuesday is the lure, but I had completed a dozen raids and still have a blast with it. It’s not a game to play solo, and once you find a solid group you’ll find yourself playing it more.
@Rob_230 the lineup as a whole is solid for sure, but when you list the “10 best games”(which I understand is subject to opinion) but omit some of the games I listed, i have to question it. Maybe it’s better to have the 10 top rated games for PSVR and see how that list shapes up.
No love for Sparc, RIGS, Keep Talking and No One Explodes, Eve Valkyrie, Farpoint? I think your list has some good PSVR games, but is completely omitting some of the best ones.
In this technology driven age, it’s kind of hard to believe some third party company isn’t offering up a solution to this. Something where Xbox/PS4 users come in on the same servers and the servers handle the traffic and connections. All while keeping the integrity of Sony’s infrastructure secure. That’s the only scenario I could see this happening.
@Constable_What If Arizona sunshine is over $9.99 I would pass. That game was the biggest VR disappointment in my opinion. Sparc is awesome though if you haven’t tried it. I grabbed the smashbox “paintball” game. Gonna try that one tonight.
@ToddlerNaruto if that’s the case, I would recommend 2 controllers and a dual charger. Then just swap back and forth. Can alway use a second controller whenever a friend is over.
@ToddlerNaruto I got mine at a local battery store. Perhaps put the power of google to the test or find a seller on eBay that’s highly rated. If you get one, understand that the battery power indicator that pops up on the PS4 will not be accurate any more.
@BAMozzy their camera revision took it from a square design to a round one. I believe the specs are unchanged. It also only has an 85 degree field of view, which is why I think it needs an update.
The stock DualShock 4 comes with a 1000mah battery. You can buy a 2000mah battery to replace it for around $6 usd. Easy to do swap, maybe 10 minutes...15 minutes if you keep dropping the screws like I do 😂
These improvements are pretty nice, the one I like the most is the rear headphone jack. That is my biggest annoyance with PSVR. That cable always gets tangled with the fat PSVR cable. I’d prefer Bluetooth headphone support for the original PSVR since I have the Platinum headset.
@johnny30 you can register for a North America PSN account at no charge and then buy them. It's pretty easy to do. I keep an Asian PSN account to see their sales and offers.
I have 2 Pro's and have not encountered this issue on either one. Several players in my clan have had this issue a long with another clan mate that can't play the game past the 4th story mission because it crashes there every run. Just seems so random.
I thought one of the rumors was 50+ hours to grind to the level cap in Destiny 2. Also heard 25 story missions, but also 20+ side quests, 15+ world mission 6 strikes at launch and 10 before the first DLC. None of those stats supposedly include the hidden missions. Hopefully the realize how that lacked in variety in D1....though I still played 3500+ hours. It was always the gameplay that kept me coming back anyway, that and the raids.
@leucocyte the 30 million sold is probably accurate. At the time Destiny originally launched, there were millions more PS3's and Xbox 360's out there being played. I would have expected more copies to land on those systems originally. As one would suspect, most of those adopters have probably moved on to a PS4/X1 which, in theory, would continue to push some sales. I saw they have over 40 million active users...though I'm not sure what active means lol
@LiamCroft I'm not sure that "scrapped" is the right word. It seems their vision has evolved, but they still want the Destiny universe to last 10 years and beyond. It's not hard to picture a Destiny 3 in a few years to complete a trilogy and bring the franchise to a 10 year span.
