@Heavyarms55 Do you have some decent headphones? Check out 3D Reworks 001 by Max Cooper on Spotify (and other platforms, I guess). It should give you some idea about the added space/positioning that comes with 3d sound
Herein lies my problem with most open world games. Do I blindly follow a compass for hours on end to get from one place to another, or do I fast travel, which essentially means I miss out on the journey and world building? Often I find neither option appealing and tend to get bored very quickly. RDR and BOTW didn't have this problem for me as I found the act of travelling and navigation interesting; I'm hoping Cyberpunk and Tsushima are similar otherwise I know I'll lose interest after 10-15 hours
I'm going to download this for my kids. I'm sick of my 5 year old coming up to me all excited because she has a 'piece of money' and wants to buy all the toys in the world with it. It's 1p sweetie, get over it.
@Rhaoulos with their crunch culture it would have made sense to quarantine all their staff in the office to avoid the spread of the virus. They could have then legitimately forced them to finish GTA 6 in time for launch.
Just in case anyone takes me too seriously- virus bad; crunch bad; games good.
I'll be doing all I can to get a PS5 at launch. Hopefully it will be a better experience than with PS4, where I took the day off to wait for the delivery only to receive one of the bricked consoles, which I had to send back and wait for another one to arrive a few days later.
I'm a broken record when it comes to this but people really must try Hunt: Showdown (whilst appreciating that it is not available in all countries). It's slow, tense, and absolutely brutal.
Looking forward to playing Dirt Rally 2.0 tonight, the first game was a belter. Dirty 4 wasn't as good (and they really need to learn how to count in sequence)
Monopoly- everyone's favourite board game!?!? As if being stuck at home with my family isn't bad enough, you're suggesting we tear each other apart by playing a game about greed and tax!?
@Constable_What no, I really don't! I'm sure if I went and listened to it now I would recognise it but it's like you say, in the thick of the action you're not paying attention to the music- and nor should you. If the music is taking more attention than what's happening on screen, something isn't right.
As odd as it might sound, the greatest compliment I can pay to her is that I don't remember a single piece of music she has created. And by that I mean they fit into the overall atmosphere so seemlessly that I'm not even aware of them.
I really feel that the audio needs special mention here. The 3d audio is simply amazing and gives you accurate readings as to where other players and monsters are- be that distant gunshots, disturbed wildlife or someone stepping on a twig in the undergrowth. I've never experienced anything like it.
@leucocyte I though the same at first but you don't actually need to hold L2. Just pull the trigger when you want to first grab on to something, then you can let go even when you jump between ledges

Put it this way, if it was the other way round I’d be strongly considering buying an Xbox

Re: Colourful Anime Action RPG Zengeon Announced for PS4
Totally read the publishers name as 'Pube' and fully expected it to be a game based on zentai. So that's where my head's at today...

Re: Tomorrow's Summer Game Fest Reveal Is a 'Cool and Fun' Title, Says Geoff Keighley
Yep, highly doubtful it will be either fun or cool. What cynics we gamers are (me included)
Re: Soedesco Rebrands As It Confirms PS5 Projects Are Underway
That font and positioning is nasty. Looks like a PowerPoint slide I'd make for work

Re: PlayStation Store Sale Makes Great PS4 Games Less Than £20/$20
@Nakatomi_Uk Just to give you a heads up, The Outer Wilds is on sale, not The Outer Worlds. Totally different game- good but definitely not an RPG

We, the internet, demand better working conditions and GTA 6 to be a PS5 launch title...

Hunt: Showdown as much as possible. More people need to try this game!

Re: GRID's 40-Car Mode Apparently Not Possible on PS4, But Launching on Google Stadia
[Insert joke about fewer than 40 people buying Stadia at launch]
Re: GRID's 40-Car Mode Apparently Not Possible on PS4, But Launching on Google Stadia
It's a good sign for Stadia that it can handle the processing for 40 cars on a track but, as others have commented, the game really doesn't need it.
Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Skips EA Access Trial Because of Spoilers
It's EA. The least bit surprising this is not.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Launch Trailer Is Impressive
I’m sure it won’t be anywhere near as deep or clever as Death Stranding, but I’m actually more interested in playing this right now.
Re: Key Feature of Fallout 76's New Subscription Service Is Completely Bugged
@ShogunRok thanks for nothing. Now my comment makes as much sense as buying this game. Unbelievable.
